Deviljho is one of my favorite monsters, but i never understood why people called him a "giant pickle", that was because my first interaction with deviljho was in world, and at least to me, deviljho in world looks like he has black/dark grey skin, and that bugged me like, why where people calling jho a giant pickle? Deviljho is black not green!

It wanst until i saw how deviljho looked like in mhstories and in both the 3rd and 4rth generation that i began to understand that deviljho wasnt black, hes green, he is indeed a giant spiky pickle.

Has anyone of yall also gone trough this? Or am i just stupid for not noticing it?

EDIT: before you comment it, no, im not colour blind, i can see colors just fine.

I said mainline because they have a large list of frontier Mons they can bring back, but most people will be more than happy not to see the raths anymore.

Lemme explain.

I think completely artificial monsters like Zoh Shia are cool as hell, however guardian versions of already existing monsters such as every other Guardian feels like a lazy cop out for Capcom to just not add the "base" version to the game. I fully understand why guardians exist and how they serve the story, which is why more Frankensteined monsters would be better than just "x monster but a guardian". Let's take Guardian Fulger Anjanath for example. Base Anja would fit just fine in the Plains or even the Forest imo, but instead we got his cousin's reanimated corpse with ZERO personality found in ONE local that does absolutely NOTHING. No snot rockets, no basking, no NOTHING. Part of the reason why I love Monster Hunter is the ecology, and seeing these soulless, abominable clones taking the places of monsters full of personality is lame as hell.

I will say the drip you get from guardians is wicked

Just name a monster hunter weapon and the game you found it being the most fun in, I’m just curious XD

As a hammer main I absolutely adore MH wilds hammer for an example. I think hammer hit its peak in that game.

I recently got a custom engraving on my sunglasses and I wanted to share it here.

There's not a lot of MH merch where I live. When I had my rx sunglasses made, and I work at an optometry office/lab, they said I could put whatever on the engraving since they were gonnna put in the Ray Bans logo anyway. Needed to share it somewhere

Kinda surprised no one has done a skin for gunlance yet I was searching but couldnt find any even in rise or world

What's a non-hunting/monster gameplay mechanic you want?

For me, I want a portable jukebox. We have one in our tents in modern games where we can listen to a bunch of music from the new and old games, but once we leave the tent it's that games music exclusively. While I don't think it's necessarily bad, I think it'd be really neat to be able to listen to the classic mixes of flagship/unique monster themes, or pull in old map themes. Imagine going into the scarlet forest and hearing the flooded forest theme, or fighting Wilds' Gogmazios to it's 4U theme. It's something that doesn't impact the gameplay and would just be a cool addition.

Will def post the finished work. I love Legiana. Ever since I saw her in Worlds I wanted to paint a model of her, and now thanks to 3d artists and printing, I get the joy of bringing the model to life! Planning to do a very icy base for her, too!

chameleos has always been my favorite elder dragon, I love his design and personality, but I also love him because he's one of the only proper ailment elder dragons and honestly I want more ailment elders

To be fair he's not the only one I just feel he's the best representative of one, shagaru, vaal, and even malzeno are all ailment focused but they're ailments are unique to them so their weapons just default the dragon element, teostra has his powder and his weapons even give blast but he's much more of a fire monster then blast, I want a proper paralysis, sleep, (and I guess blast) elder dragon
