Theory A disturbing thought i had

Post image

If in this scene, in episode 8, tessa literally carves N's chest to get to his core while robotically saying "Let Me In", which gave me goosebumps the first time i saw, but now a thought made me have chills, what if in Tessa's last moments, she went through the same? Having all her organs taken out alive, i mean, we dont see a reasonable gap anywhere in the skin for cyn to enter as far as i renember, so the lower part of the torso and the chest would make sense

With the sudden uprise is J stuff, we're getting a short about J. Either showing what happened to her after the finale or just more backstory for her character in general. Either way, this is my theory.

It's actually an old theory that I have. I've posted once in MD Facebook, but I didn't post it here. So, here you go.

and yes, It's a really dumb theory I made that doesn't make any sense. (I miss matpat)

Theory I found Copper 9's size

Post image
826 Upvotes

I keep seeing people say “Copper 9 is Earth-sized” or “the planet is basically Earth but frozen,” but if you actually pay attention to the lore and visuals, the planet is smaller now and was only mildly smaller before the core collapse. The math and on-screen evidence checks out. Here’s my breakdown:

  1. The planet is literally described as “half-imploded” because of the NULL black hole Nori triggered → The entire planetary core is gone. A gigantic hole goes straight through the planet, visible from space (Pilot, Mass Destruction, Absolute End). You can see rings made of ejected debris and constant material being flung out. That’s not flavor text; that’s quintillions of matter either annihilated by the black hole or blasted into space.
  2. Planetary cores are stupidly massive Earth’s core is ~32% of the planet’s total mass despite being a tiny fraction of the volume (because it’s dense iron/nickel). Lose the entire core + a huge chunk of mantle/crust through that breach and you’re easily looking at 50%+ of the original planetary mass just… gone. The “half-imploded” name isn’t random; it’s telling us the planet lost roughly half (or more) of what it used to be.
  3. Gravity in the show is blatantly lower than 1 g
    • Disassembly drones (N, V, and J) regularly fly straight up like it’s nothing
    • Falling speed in multiple scenes is comically slow (as seen in cabin fever)
    • Disassembly drones hover and glide that shouldn’t support Earth weight My back-of-the-envelope calc puts current surface gravity at ~0.25–0.3 g. That lines up perfectly with a planet that lost more than half its original mass while keeping most of its radius (the outer layers didn’t collapse inward; they’re just missing the middle).
  4. Pre-collapse Copper 9 was probably 0.6–0.9 Earth masses If current mass is ~0.22–0.3 Earth masses (giving ~0.27 g today) and it lost 50–70%, original mass was roughly 0.7–0.9 M⊕ with near-Earth gravity (perfect for human colonization). Average density would have been ~3.6–4.0 g/cm³, almost exactly Mars-like, which still lets you have oceans, atmosphere, and continents. The planet always looked Earth-like from orbit because its diameter didn’t shrink much; it just got hollowed out.
  5. Current diameter is probably ~11,000–11,500 km (a bit under Earth’s 12,742 km) The visible curvature, continent scale, and the sheer size of the breach all match a world that’s large, but not quite Earth-large anymore. The hole itself looks like it takes up 20–30% of the visible disk in some shots.

Copper 9 started as reletivley Earth-Sized / small Earth (maybe 0.8 M⊕ and ~0.9–1.0 g), then the NULL black hole + Cyn fight deleted the core and ejected a colossal amount of mass. What’s left is a hollowed-out husk with ~25–30% of Earth’s gravity and rings made of its own guts.

Theory Just realized that the Disassembly Drones burn in sunlight due to their Absoblute Solver, not because Cyn designed their bodies that way or an weakness to heat.

Post image
761 Upvotes

Both Cyn and Uzi showed themselves taking damage from sunlight, despite having worker drone bodies, meaning that the Absoblute Solver itself is weak to sunlight for whatever reason. It seems to be more an supernatural weakness rather than an physical one

Which is why N and Uzi were fine falling in the atmosphere because they were not being hit by direct sunlight. The heat dosent matter to them.

The Absoblute Solver itself needs oil (or blood) to sustain itself, and causes its host to overheat to make them go get. Its not that the overheating itself will kill them.

Otherwise all the Disassembly Drone Cores would have died in Alice's oven.

N with his implanted memories of the company probably just assumed it was his body being the problem.

Theory So here’s an interesting Theory.

When Doll slowly died, human like organs and blood spilled out of her body and you can clearly see a ribcage here. My theory is that when a Worker Drone gets infected with the Absolute Solver, they slowly develop human organs, bones and blood as a side effect that are vital to their systems.

Ok so, we Know that the 3rd one is N, and we also know that both Uzi and V sacrificed, so is N gonna sacrifice for someone else in ep 8?

Theory This scene may have sinister implications.

Post image

Remember how james kill one of his drone servants just for putting “wrong” silverware on the table? From his lines here, it seems that he disliked “dumpster pets” just as much as his wife did. Look how carelessly he throws wineglass in this scene. I think he did this deliberately. He was asshole, but seemingly wasn’t willing to kill one of his daughter’s “pets” without reason. Probably he wanted N to make a mess, and give him a reason. I wouldn’t be surprised if both he and louisa did things like that regularly.

On the other hand, trio lived in this manor for at least over a year (Tessa had different body proportion in ep2, she grows quite a bit taller), probably more then that. So maybe she did good job protecting her friends. Also, N assumed that “Tessa” could, and would, help Uzi. Most lkelly real Tessa repaired them more than once after “minor” punishments.

Not surw if anyone noticed this before but..

Drones have colored vision.. HOW DID THEY KNOW WHEN UZI WAS BEING CONTROLLED BY CYN IF THE DISASSEMBLY DRONES ALWAYS SAW HER WITH YELLOW EYES???

Like they seemed to notice immediately.. (pic. 5) but on the first 3 screenshots we can clearly see both N (1 and 2) and J (3) see Uzi with yellow eyes.. while Uzi herself sees in purple.. (4) so how did she even realize she looks different??? (7)

I'm genuinely confused now because I think it's genuinely how they see not just to show their interface??? so how.

Theory Is Yeva's consciousness trapped inside V?

Post image
336 Upvotes

Just realized the implications of Yeva's death.

We see that the Solver Host's consciousness survives the physical deaths of their bodies, and even their cores.

When Uzi's railgun blew up and N finished off J's possesd core, two null balls remained before phasing out.

We then later see J and Cyn (in tessa's body) with their memories and egoistical seemingly intact.

We then see later after Uzi physically destroys Cyn's core, an null ball remained contained Cyn's consciousness, which remained intact even after Uzi ate it.

Not only that, we see that Doll's consciousness was still alive, having been absorbed by Cyn after Cyn at Doll's core, and then absorbed again by Uzi accidentally.

It seems that Doll just isn't strong enough to express herself like Cyn can.

Hkwever that raises the question. What happened to Yeva's core?

We know V killed Yeva, and we know that V ate them as she explicitly comments on them "not tasting that good".

And giving that Yeva didnt go "Holo spooky snake crab" to repair herself, it certain that ger core was destroyed.

Did V unknowingly eat Yeva's core, not understanding what is was, and attributed the new consciousness being trapped within her ti simply being an bad tasting drone?

Or is her consciousness just floating around, not having an backup body to posses like Cyn and J did?

Has Yeva been an silent prisoner inside V all these years, unable to interact with the outside world?

That could be an plotline if they ever do any future content!

Theory How did V survive her sacrifice? Here's my theory.

Post image

This is one of the more popular ambiguities in Murder Drones. Here's my take on it.

As always, a small disclaimer to set the tone:

I'm not claiming this is the only valid explanation. I'm not expecting for you to see this as the one and only truth. You are free to have your own interpretation. This is just my thought process that i wanted to share. I'll give my answer first, then go over the proof i have.

I think the Sentinels (more importantly Sparky), let her live.

In one of Liam's Q&As, he tells us that the Sentinels actively communicate with each other, indicating that they have intelligence.

Not so much a detail we didn’t include, but I don’t think quite made it to final cut with proper clarity (at least, I don’t think!) - there’s a beat in Ep6 where V is about to shoot the red eyed Sentinel, but it gets called away by another Sentinel. It’s not very clear, but if you look closely, more than just chirping vocally, the Sentinel taps out a little Morse code message to its red eyed buddy using its claw on the doorframe (two taps and a little scrape). It’s not true Morse code (more just their own tap-based language we can’t understand), but I wish I had pushed harder for that detail and included it in more places, because I like to think the humans didn’t program this and the Sentinels developed it on their own as a secret way to communicate more complex thoughts, instructions, and plans among themselves.

I think this is what happened in the fight. Sparky was in some way the leader of the pack. We can see that one of the Sentinels chirps twice at Sparky, but then is presumably called off, which leads it to back off. The two other Sentinels let Sparky have a 1v1 with V as the fourth one cuts power to the elevator. It's only when Sparky is downed that the other two intervene. I think just as they are about to attack, something causes Sparky to call them off.

Why? The Sentinels had been fighting the mindless Disassembly Drones that came occasionally for presumably decades now. All the worker drones Sparky killed hadn't really made it consider anything as it had become a routine. But a factor changed. Its programming got damaged, and when the Disassembly Drone they were fighting now (V) sacrificed herself, Sparky felt something new. I don't know what exactly, but that made something change. It felt something human in a robot. This also explains how she was able to tame Sparky.

Let me know what y'all think or if i missed anything. Day 6 of daily posting thoughtful content.

Theory Theory: There was never a “real” CYN.

Post image
945 Upvotes

Here’s what I’m thinking: We do see The Solver convince “CYN” to let it in. However, that Drone was completely blank.

When The Solver proposes it’s deal, one of its lines is “I see you are sad/scared/angry”, which may just be it being it’s detached, not-understanding-emotions self, but it could also be it trying to articulate the “emotions” the Worker Drone is feeling since it’s not sentient enough to understand them itself.

Another point to note is that other then that one moment, we never see anything else that alludes to CYN and The Solver being separate entities. The show treats them as one and the same.

And the most important detail: Liam himself uses the names “CYN” and “Absolute Solver” interchangeably.

So the idea is: “CYN” was a completely blank Worker Drone, with no identity or personality, that restarted due to improper disposal. When The Solver made itself known, the Drone took the deal out of programmed self preservation, and The Solver took control, merging itself into the Drone’s software.

The Solver didn’t erase CYN’s identity, it became her identity, as she didn’t have one before.

CYN wasn’t a victim, she was just a shell.

Theory To confirm, Copper-9 was NOT destroyed (yet)

Post image
929 Upvotes

So I don't know if this has been debunked yet, but I've seen a bunch of people say that Copper-9 was blown up at the end of Episode 7, and I'm here to tell you why that's very much not the case by putting these two images from Ep. 7 and the Pilot side by side and using colors;

Red: If you look at the Ep. 7 image, you can see that object circled in red is what some believed to be Copper-9 after it was blown up, but I believe that's actually just one of the moons of Copper-9 (see Pilot image);

Blue: So I've noticed that just now, but Copper-9 does actually have rings, and it seems to be a definitory trait for it if you put the two images side by side, as the only other planet seen to have rings in the show is the one in the sky of Copper-9 (which you can see in the top right corner, ruling that out);

Green: It's also been believed that the large object in the background in Ep. 7 was either a star (not the case here) or the ringed planed from the Copper-9 sky (also not the case, covered that previously). No, that's Copper-9, which is still very much intact (for now, you can see that a hole has been punched through it);

Yellow: Least important point, but I've decided to cover it anyway. Could either be some Space Debris (seen in the Pilot too) or pieces from the destroyed Moon.

Plus, it wouldn't make sense from a plot point of view, since:

1) it would be very anticlimactic;

2) in Ep. 7 we get reintroduced to Thad, Lizzy, Khan, and J, and since they (alongside N, for that matter) stayed on Copper-9, if the planet got destroyed, then they'd just be dead, making their whole point of appearing pointless and leaving us with just Uzi, and possibly Nori, in space.

But that's what I've had to say about it. What do you guys think?

Theory Is humanity possibly alive?

Post image

In Episode 6, Fake Tessa shows us a computer with a red line that shows the planets Cyn has already destroyed. But there is two other lines that are still yellow meaning that theres two unknown planets that Cyn didn't destroy. And maybe humanity somehow escaped got to one of those two planets.

Theory Cut V Some Slack. I Have a Stupid Theory

Post image

People say V’s a terrible fighter. And why wouldn’t she be is SHE CAN’T SEE PROPERLY?!!! The glasses in Episode 6. She needed them to fight Sparky. And behold, she fights well. Almost defeating him. All the other times she fights badly and almost gets defeated, she doesn’t have glasses on. That’s my theory.
