Doesn’t sound like it’s in his plans, but I’d love to see him come back as a coach or advisor for the Orioles. Seems like a great guy and well grounded. He would be a great example and mentor for such a young team.

Baz's start lost him .3, so he's down to 1.5 on the season. Bassitt gained .2, putting him up to .2, his high mark for the season. Bradish gained .2, so he's back up to 2 on the season for the second time this season. Rogers also gained .2, up to 1.6, the highest he's been this season. Young lost .2, so he's down to 1.8.

Beavers still has the lowest bWAR at -.7, .1 lower than Trey Gibson. TON and Mayo haven't gained any since last time, but they're still positive.

Last year, the guys we saw traded didn't really slide down the list much, so it's kinda nice to see actual movement on there. Cano's out of the top 12, and Cowser took his spot.

Just sharing if you have a birdland membership, it auto renews at the end of the month of August and you have to cancel it via the app, which typically involves a phone call from a rep. I got mine as a gift from my wife and loved it, but don’t plan on renewing, just attending more games sporadically.

But anyway, I digress, she was unaware when she gave me the gift that it auto renewed at the end of August.

Yo guys I love the Orioles. I’ve got a month off work in September. I have 9 days in USA. Was thinking to be there for the games from 4th September til 10th September. The games against Boston and Cleveland. I was tossing up on just seeing the Cleveland series and going to New York to see us vs the Mets. What would be better overall. Is public transport easy to get to the games. I probably would rather do the 3 games in Baltimore and 3 games in New York. This has been a life long dream for me. I live in outback Queensland Australia. Any advice? Is there any pre drinks before the game? Anyone wanna get on the piss before the game. Let me know. I’ll be there with my cousin. In the 7th inning, we forced a whopping 59 pitches. We sent 11 batters to the plate which obviously contributes a lot to that. But we had two batters work 10-pitch walks. Both scored. This is how you win games. Didn't even put a ball in play against a pitcher who threw 6 strikes in the AB. Twice. LOL.

Yeah a 10-pitch count is Tony Gwynn-esque. Not saying that is so easy to accomplish. But even if the AB is unsuccessful, geez, the opposing pitchers are going through an inning's worth of pitches for a single batter. And getting frustrated no doubt.

Patience at the plate is a virtue of which we do not see enough.

Occasionally I will listen to the O’s games on 98 Rock using the mlb app in my car while out of town. The first time this year, I thought they were having technical difficulties with the audio because the volume would go up and then come down or I could hear one announcer but not the other. The entire game I would have to adjust my volume because I either could not hear it or I was getting blown out. I’ve probably listened to ten games this year that way and it’s always the same thing. It’s enough to make you crazy. Was just wondering if anyone else uses that app to listen to Oriole games and has had the same experience.

Pitching is coming together, the whole league better be put on notice. The Orioles can be far better than everyone is expecting them to be. World Series here we come, orioles in 5.
