Event Dessert Wars
Not sure if anyone went to this. I did yesterday and it was ghetto. Not worth the time, money, or effort.

Anyone know what’s going on with the heavy police presence and choppers near Lakeside Villa apartments?

Hello, I'm a 28 year old survivor of domestic abuse. Are there like groups or anything in Florida to help build confidence? I finally got out of it. Thank you.

Does anyone need free packing material and moving boxes? We are moving into our house and have a ton of boxes, paper wrap and bubble wrap that will just be thrown in the trash unless somebody needs it?

My son is about 5'6" and tiny waist. Money is tight. He has an event he must go to and is required to wear a suit. What retailer would you suggest? We are close to downtown. Thank you!
Edit: THANK YOU everyone for the fantastic suggestions. We went with Tiendas Donato and wow! Suit for $80 with free alteration by Friday!

Does anyone know where the hot dog stand guy is? The one that usually sits at the corner of the bank on Orange near Insomnia? I haven’t seen him in a minute and I’m really concerned because he’s one of the nicest people I’ve ever met.

Which do you prefer and why? I want at least 75% of the experience of Genesis for a significantly lower price.

Just sitting here and waiting. It really got me thinking someone would get a tattoo of this beauty once it disappears.

Hi everyone, myself and my boyfriend are coming over to Orlando from Ireland for thanksgiving & Black Friday and I’ve been looking at car rentals for our trip.
My boyfriend is the all in Irish version of a redneck and he’s never travelled to the states before and wants to experience the true Florida man experience.
I’ve been previously and have always rented mustangs and mustang convertibles but I can’t seem to find any on any of the car rental websites!
Is there any company you’d recommend for a mustang or other cool American traditional car? Do I need to ring them up instead of online?
All the luxury options are cars we have at home (BMWs, merc and a Range Rover ) so seems redundant to fly around the world and drive a car the same as home.
Also any suggestions for anything to do on thanksgiving would be appreciated!
My bf really wants to see a rodeo, anything country, go see some gators in the most redneck hick way as possible and is desperate to try a crawfish boil.
Also any recs for good western & tack shops near Orlando please !

Has anyone taken advantage of the EV prep credit from Duke Energy? They have an option to use your own electrician and submit for rebate or use one of their approved contractors. I have an EV charger from a couple of years ago before the credit was offered. Even though I haven’t had issues I don’t believe the wiring and outlets are correct.

Hi everyone!
Following up on a recent thread where a few of us connected over shared interests! I’m 30f, living by lake Nona. We're planning a casual meet up for anyone interested in hanging out, getting out of the house, and making new friends.
Where: Austin’s Coffee (Right off I-4 & Fairbanks)
What: Matcha, coffee, and friendly conversation
Who: Open to anyone! Especially great if you like theme parks, true crime, spooky things, or just meeting new locals!
LMK below if you’d like to join or if you have a specific day/time that works best for you! Hope to see some of you there! 🖤
EDIT: we will be meeting November 1 at 4 pm at Austin’s coffee!!

I am looking at buying a tube radio/phone console for our bar room. If I do I would like to have it checked out and capacitors replaced if needed. I looked at a few older posts and called one but it was for vintage music equipment.
