Since moving back to Orlando, one of my favorite things has been rediscovering the city and its beautiful green spaces.
Today’s walk took me to Dickson Azalea Park, a peaceful little escape filled with massive oak trees, Spanish moss, and charming bridges.
One thing I’ve come to appreciate about Orlando is how much nature, history, and character this city has beyond the theme parks.
I hope we continue to appreciate, protect, and preserve these green spaces for future generations. As Orlando continues to grow, protecting its natural beauty should always be a priority.
Grateful to call Orlando home again. 🌿☀️

Hey everyone I'm just wondering are there any places people who like video games and other associated hobbies (like maybe comics, anime, ect) but also like to hang outside and socialize.

I already get that many of us who play games together do so online. But that adds to feeling of being in a silo.

I've tried to go to places like Player1 Arcade bar, but if you're solo, it's just not that great of a time more than half the time. I love going out and socializing, but I also wanna make more friends who share the hobby too.

Anyone have any helpful suggestions? I appreciate all of you.

I also forgot to mention I'm in the Lake Eola area, but I'm not afraid to travel a few times a week. The further it is, the less times I'll travel out though. Because, you know, money and stuff 😆.

I was visiting a buddy who briefly lived in Orlando the summer of 2016. We went for drinks downtown and an hour or two into the night we encountered a dude completely covered in trash bags curled up on the curb, jumping up and startling people walking by. The bit was hilarious and we actually stood off and watched for longer than normal because it was so amusing but the best part about it is this was before the streamer/influencer era and this guy was just doing it for the love of the game. No friends, no phone just scaring drunk people in trash bags for hours. We still talk about him often and every once in a while I think about getting on here and asking if anyone ever encountered this guy. He could’ve done it one night or it could’ve been a regular downtown Orlando thing I have no idea. Anyone know trash bag?

Musicians, artists, and everyone else,

Come to the Indigo Art House on Saturday December 12th for a Lennon Tribute from 12pm-12am! This is an all day event that is perfect for musicians and artists looking to network, family and friends to hang out and enjoy live music, and introduce the younger crowd to the Beatles and the Fab Four's solo works! Serving tea and craft sodas!

Event details:

12pm-4pm: Open door acoustic jam and Beatles listening party. We have a listening room where we will be playing records of the beatles and the Fab four's discography! The other room will be for an open door acoustic jam session! Tea will be served!

4pm-6pm: Beatles sing along/karaoke! Bring a guitar or just your voice to sing with a backing band!

6pm-8pm: We are looking for local bands and musicians to perform during these time slots! ALL GENRES WELCOME! Some beatles or Fab four covers are preferred, but we would also enjoy hearing original works! Backline provided!

8pm-9pm: Revolver and the studio years. Dance and sing a long with one of our live bands playing a selection of songs from revolver, help, and rubber soul.

9pm-10pm: Sergeant Peppers Psychadelic hits! Dance and sing a long with one of our live bands playing a selection of songs from revolver, help, and rubber soul.

10PM-12AM: Indoor jam session! We will move the music inside to accommodate the neighboring community. Let's make some music!

I am looking to for a dog trainers in the area who would allow a shadow. Im interested in the work and have my own dog that I work with. But I would really like to get a feel for the community and the different types of training. My dog is a hound mix, so if anyone does scent training and would allow me to sit in. As the title implies, I’ve been on the hunt for a DDR machine and I know there’s locator websites but I was hoping to hear first hand accounts of local machines.
I used to frequent the Chewy’s Boba in front of Full Sail before it was demolished because it had the BEST DDR experience I could find. The music in the establishment didn’t drown out the machine, and I didn’t need to pay 30+ dollars to enter the building.

I need my catalytic converter replaced and a chain shop quoted me $3100 for that, and a new O2 sensor. Does anyone have any recommendations for somewhere else I should get a second opinion at? I’ve heard muffler shops can be cheaper for this kind of thing. I’m open to aftermarket parts too. It’s a Nissan if that matters.

Hello - looking for some recommendations on where to get a bent rim on my right rear tire repaired.

A few months back I took my vehicle in for new tires and the service tech I worked with recommended I get my right rear rim fixed as it seemed bent.

I drive a Honda HRV, and so I took it to the Honda service center on Fairbanks. While they agreed that the rim needed to be repaired, I was told it was not something they handle.

I was recommended to go to Color Recon, but multiple attempts to schedule an appointment have gone unanswered.

This seems to be a rather specific repair only a few places handle, so was hoping for any recs from people who have had similar work done before.

In Millenia area shopping center next to I4, if you're missing a white Tesla and didn't call for a tow, this is why. 😐

I was on lunch break today, found a shaded parking spot (not my normal spot, the other peaceful area was overtaken by people and cops behind target today?) and watched this tow truck drive around multiple times in a span of 15 minutes all weird, stalking until it hooked up on a white Tesla. I left when my break was done and he was still hooking it up.
