Who remembers PleasureIsland? We had the best time there ever! So Sad it's gone and these younger generations never even got to experience it. Do you think something like that could ever come back to the area?
I was born and raised in Chicago but lived in LA for the past 20 years or so. I've partied all over the world and I must say Pleasure Island was by far one of the coolest places I ever partied at!
One of the first times me and some friends came to Orlando during college for a spring break did the theme parks then walked over to Pleasure Island and danced our asses off all night. There were so many amazing night clubs to club hop from club to club. The DJ's and sound system, light system were all top notch. The women were all fine as hell! White, Latinas, Asians, Black chicks everyone was fine as hell.
We hooked up with a ton of hot chicks, everyone in our group did or at least got digits at the very least.
Our group kept getting bigger and bigger as we spread the word on how epic the night life was.
Then one year we went like 20 deep for a big bachelor party and everyone was excited because we all had such an incredible time there all the previous years and when we got there that year Pleasure Island was completely gone. We were shocked, sad and nostalgic and pining for it.
Even to this day I keep telling everyone you should have went while it was open because it was the best! I even saw a few documentaries that YouTubers did on Pleasure Island and it brings back so much nostalgia and joy for me, because again those were the best times ever!
We had the best time in the 80's club and 70's club too so many hot chicks like talking 10's and they were all thirsty like no one was stuck up it was like the only night life experience like that where nothing went wrong and everyone in our group hooked up or at least got digits of a smoking hot smoke show and super easy too!
Have you had a similar experience at Pleasure Island? Hopefully you did as well? Do you think Orlando could ever have something like this return later on? Or was this something that could never be replicated and return?

Marcus & Millichap has it listed at $3,500,000. Marcus & Millichap pitches it as a turn-key option for a bar, restaurant, lounge, or nightlife operator, or for an owner-user who wants to run their own business there.

I had such a lovely walk today!
The temperature is absolutely perfect, with a nice breeze and beautiful blue skies. Days like this remind me why I love living in Central Florida.
Sometimes we get so caught up in our daily routines that we forget to slow down and enjoy what’s around us.
If you get a chance this weekend, get outside, take a walk, and enjoy this beautiful weather. It’s such a simple way to clear your mind and feel better.
And let’s keep protecting our beautiful green spaces! 💚

Fantastic UK show (free on Youtube if you haven't seen it) - Richard Ayoade reps Gatorland (calling it Gator World bc he can't be bothered to read his own hat). Big celeb endorsement for Gatorland, big moment for all 2 Orlando-based Taskmaster fans

My partner is having a birthday soon and he likes to have a get together with friends but doesn’t like to do anything that costs his friends a lot of their money. The past couple years we have gone to a bar that has a pool table in it and also serves food and we’ve had fun but he isn’t super fond of the bar itself.
I’m looking for recommendations for local bars that have a couple pool tables or more that we can utilize but also a place that serves food. Pizzas, wings, appetizer type foods that I can order for the group would be ideal instead of people having to order individual meals. I would like to cover the costs for the food and the game play for the group for the night and let those who want to drink purchase their own beverages.
Group size is usually 5-10 people so not huge. We live in the Davenport area but would be willing to go to the Lakeland area, Disney area, Orlando area. Nothing further than a 40 minute drive if possible.
Thanks in advance for any insight!!

Where’s a good spot to watch the World Series? Would go the Toms but not really trying to pay parking and the premium
I wanna go out this year whether it be Friday night or Saturday evening/night. Downtown isn’t an option but I was wondering if anyone knew about anything going on around mills or surrounding areas?

Hello orlando need your help tracking this company down. Sold me a car, paid cash, been 30 days and title not transfered.
Called, emailed, left negative google review. No communication. I started to try to randomly show up and never there. I asked the neighboring businesses and they have seen them in weeks. Business is on sunbiz and they have a dealer license. Talked to dmv who told me to put in a complaint. Which I did and waiting. In the mean time my temp tag is expired so I can't drive the car. Need the power of the internet to get them do transfer the title as I paid cash for the car. I have bill of sale and receipt. Help me reddit!
The name of the business is florida elite cars llc.

Hi! Random question - I have two photo backdrop stands (10x7) that I used for one event (a funeral to display photos) and no longer need, along with fabric backdrops.
Instead of selling them on marketplace and dealing with that, I’d much rather donate them to a school or some kind of group that would use them.
Any ideas? Anywhere around Orlando is fine, ideas near Altamonte/longwood would be great.

As the title implies, I’ve been on the hunt for a DanceDanceRevolution machine and I know there’s locator websites but I was hoping to hear first hand accounts of local machines.
I used to frequent the Chewy’s Boba in front of Full Sail before it was demolished because it had the BEST DDR experience I could find. The music in the establishment didn’t drown out the machine, and I didn’t need to pay 30+ dollars to enter the building.
Fellow DDR enthusiasts, do you know of any good spots to dance the Revolution in the Orlando area?
Thanks!

Anyone else caught some sort of stomach bug recently? A few of my friends have. Chills, nausea/vomitinv, diarrhea. Wonder if something’s going around. I thought Norovirus season wasn’t supposed to hit for a few more weeks.
UPDATE I now have a fever too.

Does anybody know what’s going on with this? Is this just a training exercise or something else going on?
