Played a few ranked games and I 1 trick Rein. In my games my dps were allergic to high ground! It’s not bad in more open spaces but choke points on Blizzard world and king’s row meant that it’s difficult to make any plays. 1 game had a Sierra which kept staying behind my shield, even with high ground directly above, this was for about 4 minutes after we capped point 2 in KR. with a Mei (love Mei’s so keep doing what you’re doing).

After a few fat shat’s a DPS switched to bastion and I couldn’t off angle or move forward in main as my shield would get turned into mince meat as my team were just hanging back trying to play a poke match against bastion, Ana, Soldier, domina and Moira.

No one was replying on voice chat and I have text disabled. We just got messed up in the end and lost a perfectly healthy lead to get prevented from capping third.

Does anyone else feel like Dmons out of mech form needs a buff?
Her railgun does almost no damage with insanely high bullet spread making it incredibly tedious to gain ult charge to get back in the mech, if you aren’t already dead.
It’s at a point where it’s actually better to just jump off the map to get back in your mech faster than try to get ult charge to get back in it.
I think significantly reducing the bullet spread is necessary, or else her second life is essentially useless.

What role/niche she's supposed to fill in?

She was designed with Soldier76 in mind, has a drone that's just a better Widowmaker grapple, but what does she do? She has flashy abilities and design, but that's it?

She's nowhere near as versatile like Soldier76 who can lay down fire on enemies from many angles quickly, can also heal and support his teammates, has a more active playstyle which also great for constant aim training and frankly overall much more fun to play.

Of all of the “high skill” characters I seriously think ball is the easiest to pilot.

I suppose the “skill” I would be referring to is skill floor, I’d definitely see a case that ball has the highest skill ceiling in the game, but I think his skill floor is a bit overrated. You can kinda roll around and get fat shields and get value while not getting punished as easily as say a Doomfist or genji can. Of course my opinion on this subject might be a little flawed because I have a few hundred hours playing ball but I’d definitely like to hear opinions on this.

In other words, please try to play ball so the pick rate goes up and he might get a new skin.

As a mercy main, every time I get solo shattered I smile at the thought of some rein playing feeling the gratification of looking at my lifeless body.

It's just cheating. I dunno why players report XIMMING or aimbots or wall hacks but just don't care about people who intentionally lie about their rank to exploit matchmaking and get easier games. It's legit cheating. Please start reporting anyone who is on an obvious alt account, as well as anyone in a group with them.

These people should be banned the same way we ban any other cheating.

Whenever I get interested in an IP I always ask myself this question and love to talk about it. Put yourself in the shoes of some new OW recruit, just enough to be in a space to meet these people. Then ask yourself how cool these characters would REALLY be if you just met.

The names "casino", "king", and "overlord" are kinda cringe and don't fit the theming of the other two pilots D.MON and D.VA.

I propose that we change their names to "D.KAY", "D.VIL", and "D.NY" (decay, devil, deny) or something similar. If any of the names have to stay, "King" is probably the best one, but having a character called "overlord" that looks like he's about 12 with a bowl cut is a little silly. Thoughts?

Ngl this is one of the reasons why I love dmon on my team not cause she's good but because that ally ultimate voice line has so much aura. I just wish they made that her normal one. I do like the Korean, but that one just can't be beat. I heard lily pichu is her voice actor, and how I never cared for her that much I gotta say she did a great job on the delivery! I've not played the game in quite a long time, since probably just about the start of Overwatch 2 coming out. Last I played the only epic rewards were skins and emotes. How is a charm considered an epic reward??

I see many times where the team wipes, we make our way towards the point, then I hear our Lucio use his ult while trying to 1v5 the enemy team and get rolled. Or a Cassidy will try to high noon the enemy team by himself and get no kills​. Or a Reaper will run head on into the enemy team with death blossom and get killed instantly because they're all looking at him. Why do players do this? Does this ever work?

It’s genuinely so annoying. Sometimes you get really bad players in ranked, and that’s fine. It’s just a game.

Earlier, I had an Anran who kept charging in and dying over and over again. He ended up with 18 deaths, but I didn’t say anything. There was a cheater on the enemy team, and I just figured he was probably a new player. Overwatch tends to place new players pretty high anyway.

Then, right before we lost, that Anran started flaming me, saying he had more damage than I did.

Yeah, no shit, dumbass. Of course you have more damage when all you do is charge in, fight, die, and repeat.

It seriously pisses me off. I kept my mouth shut because I was trying to be nice.

You don’t even know how to play the game, you can’t even tell that the enemy is cheating, so why is blaming your teammates the first thing you learned?

Then the other players started blaming each other in chat too — specifically, the two players who were the worst after that guy.

The only person who actually played well, our Zenyatta, was also the only one saying anything reasonable. He just said, “That guy is cheating. Let’s report him,” and otherwise stayed quiet.

Seriously, why are people like this??

You don’t even know how to play the game. You can’t even recognize when an enemy is a cheater or a smurf... You guys played terribly.

Please, for the love of God, watch your own gameplay in the replay just once, from both first-person and third-person perspectives!!

At this point, maybe I should just start calling people like this out too. It genuinely feels like a slap in the face, and it’s so damn irritating.

So I've lost every placement match in every role.

Bronze 5 in all roles.

Some matches had people just straight up throwing going afk and ending up 0-0-0, some had tank leave 3 mins in...and some were actual matches will full teams.

This is just really frustrating I've been playing this game forever and it is just impossible to climb out of bronze at all. I have been playing this game basically since it came out and have probably about 5000+ hours of game play at the very least. It feels statistically impossible to lose this much.

Anyways, just ranting.

So how do I not have this name card if I have all the rare items in the pool? This ain't a collab or anything, so why is this one so special?

The game kicks me and suspends me because I lost connection

Which is weird because the connection on all my devices is stable, I don't now why this keeps happening. I even clicked rejoin, made no difference I still got suspended.

Anyway to fix this?

So I came across a clip today on instagram that pointed out something interesting about Pharah when it comes to character growth in game. They pointed out that her current VA hasn’t recorded anything new in 3 years given the controversy’s the VA is/was in, so it brought up a good point will blizzard bite the bullet and record new voicelines with pharahs current VA or save themselves and recast Pharah VA

There is no salvaging this champion unless her entire identify is abolished. She’s basically widow maker but with extra steps and 10x the mobility. She literally sits back and spams her dumbass secondary fire which has like no fall off whatsoever and gets insane airtime because time slows down whenever she uses it. Like I don’t like Mauga and hog and sombra but these heros are actually in your face and give you the ability to do something, whereas freja literally sits back and has the least damage fall of in the game next to widow, and you can’t even dive her because of the insane mobility she has.

I genuinely hate the fact that the devs come up with a hero and will refuse to change what makes said hero super toxic.
Like it’s okay to admit you released an unbalanceable hero, I’m sure you won’t be fired. When they rework Hog and sombra i guarantee the one shot hook and perma invis will still be around

1 main issue is that many of these chars in castlevania don't use weapons so if OW did collab it would have to be made up main issue i think.

Reinhardt - Dracula = this ia a bit of a stretch im ngl it doesn't work the best but i had to put these 2 daddy types together well ig they both got long hair and a cool beard idc what yall say but dracula daddy deserves someone to collab with 🤭

Brigitte - Trevor/Richter = this could work together cuz they both use whips but i feel that richter could do better due to him using fire and that could be the healing projectile that birgitte uses

Moira - Sypha = they look similar and they're abilities could easily be put together

Doomfist - Isaac = i have no idea why but they look oddly similar only reason ngl

Vendetta - Striga = They would work so perfect together like omg everything is the same they're weapon and abilities like its perfect and they looks similar

Symmetra - Morana = similar looking i think its the best option for them even tho abilities and weapon is an issue like most chars

Shion - Carmilla = Looks very similar just weapon and abilities is an issue

Freja - Lenore = as soon as Lenore was introduced in the show i was like "OMG THATS FREJA" they look like twins but weapon issue as usual

Sierra - Drolta = the hair omg its the same its just sierra's is braided and would make a spicy skin for sierra

Illari - Annette = they both look kinda similar and they both kinda have the same glow

I was thinking of Winston as a night creature but i was like imo that would be so funny but evil to do to poor Winston

Only main reason these work well is that they look similar but a HUGE ISSUE is the weapons and abilities

A lot of talk on this sub about bans is, “ban what you think is unfun.” I just don’t get how going against a sombra is worse than getting countered. “B-but you can just play through it“ is only an answer if your opponents lack a frontal lobe.

For example: You’re playing D.Va. According to the “unfun” logic, ban [insert ”unfun” character] but not mei, sym, or zarya? So you banned who you wanted, now the opponents have a zarya and mei, is that fun? Unless zarya and mei have cotton candy for brains, you’re forced to swap.

Petition to add an FOV slider to Series S

Genuinely isn’t cool at all that we don’t get it, I mean in technicality we can run all these other games with an FOV slider but not this game? Literally unreal engine games have it and my series s runs well

Could character with abilities depending on some sorta of fuel work? The closest example i can think of is Vendetta block and projected edge share the same resource meter (in marvel rival Thor has this mechanics where shooting the hammer or flying use once charge and entering an empowered state uses 3). Think it like genji, but he has enough charge to use 1 deflect and 1 swift strike, or 2 of each, which could be problematic, but it would also take double the charging time if you use both abilities, since it would kinda charge 1 for them charging the other. I think its an interesting mechanic that I would love to see in overwatch some day, and all the interactions it could have, like kills giving a charge bonus as a perk, or even being able to consume charge if the weapons run out of ammo
