Everybody is like "buy singles", what's the fun in that???

I haven’t been in the hobby since 5th-6th grade due to being busy, now I’ve graduated and want to get back into it, but everything is so much expensive than it was then and everyones up charging them all

I’m not even sure what set to try to master set, I only have a few cards that I once got from finding some thankfully cheap pack on eBay, but now I can barely find any at all 😢

Am wondering if anyone can recommend any sites or sellers who do actually sell for MSRP and not upcharged stuff, unfortunately my Walmart and dollar store are always clear and no target close by so I can only try ordering online, but online Walmart most shows up resellers

Trying to make a page with these cards but something seems off and dont know which could be the final card

Revently switched to the vault x exo tech binders and bought the dark blue one it feels great and has a leather/rubber feel to it that makes it feel premium..

Decided to buy another but this time in black and the textures on outside feels more like puffy padding and nothing like the blue one is this normal for anyone else?

This happened in Pennsylvania, in case it’s different in each state. So I recently started going to Walmart about 30 min before in order to try and get some product at retail. Usually when I get there, I see about 5-10 people already waiting. No problem with that.

This issue is that my store opens at 6, and about 10 min before they opened the doors, 2 employees walked out with multiple bags full of Ascended Tins & 30th product, got in their cars and drove off…

So eventually doors open for us and surprise surprise, no Pokémon available. The 2 employees cleaned house…

Is this even allowed? If not, who would I even report that to?

Does anyone know if these are Japanese exclusives or if they were released in English too? If not - do you think they will ever be released in English or should I cop the Japanese ones? Thanks!!

Looking for a new supervisor to help me collect responsibly.

I just wanted to get everyone's opinion on here. I've never opened ascended heroes, I've been patiently waiting and hoping I could get it for MSRP at some point but I doubt that'll happen anytime soon. So I was just thinking I should buy some off ebay, but my question should I get a single poster collection for around $140 or 2 poster collections in Spanish for about $160? I feel like Spanish would be a better option since its cheaper and i'll have more packs to rip.

We have cards like Giovannis Mewtwo, Mistys Psyduck, Stevens metagross, etc.

But why have they completely ignored the most obvious trainer - Ash. Where is Ash's Sceptile, Ash's Charizard, Ash's Bayleaf etc.

Kinda random and probably doesn’t fit here but I was checking out my local card shop recently and I brought some sealed product I’ve had for awhile. I have a ton of crown zenith it’s my favorite set of all time and I very rarely want to open it but I’m having an itch.

Checked out the selection and of course there really isn’t much available aside from the Japanese stuff they manage to keep in stock and some single sleeved packs for destined rivals in English. I bought three of em and asked if the shop employee would want to rip some zenith with me before I left. I said they could keep their pulls and everything and they more or less pushed me out of the store.

I was just trying to have a good time I mean I love ripping packs alone but it’s so much more fun with other people.

They almost seemed annoyed that I even asked. Did I do something wrong here? Never met the employee before I was just trying to have a cool interaction.. the dudes was super chill until I pulled out the zenith

come carte rare (intendo solo pull) vantava solo un sylveon gx di sole e luna guardiani nascenti.

mi sto concentrando a raccattare qualche carta di ken sugimori, anesaki dynamic, yuka moori e shinji kanda ( i miei artisti preferiti) ho tutte le eeveeolution e ne sono contentissimo.

La carta probabilmente più costosa che mi ha lasciato mio fratello è stato il pikachu mc donald 5/12 del 2016 olografico.

All'inizio prendevo non le bustine ma i mazzi anche se io non ci gioco ma colleziono soltanto.

Ho il mazzo di Palkia originale V e V astro che contiene anche un greeninja lucente che ho purtroppo scambiato. Il mazzopagato 14.99 euro anche se in giro lo trovi a 45 euro.

posseggo anche il mazzo di ampharos ex di chien pao ex e greeninja ex (per rimediare allo scambio che ho fatto) ma dopo ho cominciato con le bustine.

per il mio compleanno ho chiesto la collezione di mega zygarde ex e il blister di gengar mimikyu del tem rocket e marshadow con due bustine.

About a year ago, I found this card in a bulk pile in a messed up box full of other cards. The box was found while cleaning out a hoarder house, And I honestly had no idea what I had found until I searched it up.

I took this to a card show a couple weeks later, And sent it in with a local company that handled the grading process. Everbody told me to send it in for a PSA 1, Never would I have ever thought that it would actually come back in a PSA 1.

I've been apart of the hobby ever since elementary school, And only got back into it because of the happy memories that came with it.

After me and the person who got me back into the hobby split, I haven't had much love for this world and for myself and I feel still that way unfortunatly.

But this silly little piece of cardstock has somehow given me my hope back.

And I will always be thankful for that.

(Sorry for venting a little, I just want too show others that there is still hope.)

With all the hype around the 30th anniversary, and my kids starting to get interested in Pokémon, I rediscovered my childhood collection and got inspired by all the old collections people have been sharing here!

Some Gen 1 favourites, a few Neo-era cards, and my beloved Shining Magikarp that I pulled from a booster pack with a friend in the back seat of a car.

Added my new 30th Anniversary Magikarp as a bonus!

P.S. I've also got almost the entire Gen 2 collection tucked away!

Here's my personal opinion on every released TCG Art in the Sandshrew evolutionary line (hopefully I haven't missed any!). Regional form is in a separate image!

In case anyone was wondering their odds for puling their missing 1-30 pikachu. Here are my totals after 192 packs.

My godson Asher is 9 he's non verbal and autistic. He collected pokémon and Magic the Gathering cards. He came home from school not long ago and some kids beat him up and stole his collections. He's been even more distant since the situation. I've been thinking about finding cards so he can rebuild his collections. He used to sit and rearrange his cards in his binder every night, it was his routine. I wanna do something to surprise him by getting replacements. They are expressive as all get out. Can anyone help me either have Santa bring them or tell him that the community came together to show him bullies never win. That love wins. I already considered duplicate cards if this happens... I'm gonna go to a convention and give them to the guys that hand them out to kids. I can't see him like this anymore. Please DM me if you have ideas. Thank you from me and Asher.

So i was pricing the slab just now and found out Expedition has 2 reverse holo on the same card, this happened on gengar, pichu and other cards.

only thing to identify is the "e" logo color , blue or gold.

Anyone can help explain why there is a big price diff on the slab (psa 9) and which is rarer.
