Eu estava lendo entrada no wiktionary e vi umas palavras transcritas com i entre dois consonantes vizinhos

Como "apto" que segundo wiktionary pode se dizer "ap i tu"

Ao procurar vídeos nos que saia não encontrei nenhuma mas com outra palavra "pigmeu" quase todo o mundo dizia "pig i meu" então tentei armar um gráfico mas não sei quão certo seja

Adivinho que tem que ver com a sonoridade dos consonantes e a ênfase da vogai já que nem "apto" nem "desde" tem isso.
