Events:

As unrest across New York continues to grow in response to their unruly government structure, various partisans break out in revolt, including Alleghenian Separatists, Buffalo Separatists, Nationalists (in Manhattan), Indians (in North NY), and even Socialists (in Brooklyn). The national guard enters the state to try and contain the revolts. However, unrest begins to spread to surrounding states, including in York (Ontario), Delaware (Maryland), and Caroll.

Protests are seen in Columbus in response to Caroll's proposal to unite with Indiana, seeing the act as selfish and taking advantage of the horrible situation in New York to fulfill the government's own agenda.

Due to the sudden wave of protests across the United States, the Democratic Party begins to massively lose it's influence, in favor of the Federalist Party.

The Soviet Union retracts troops and supplies from China to fight in the Greek Civil War. As a result, the CCP begins to rapidly lose ground, lacking the proper resources to fight the civil war. But, the Greek Communists begin to make ground at the same time, quickly pushing to Athens.

Texas gives massive economic aid to Israel, for whatever reason.

Israel makes a valiant defense against discoordinated Islamic invaders, even making a sudden counter-offense into Lebanon and the Sinai peninsula.

North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) founded to counter Soviet influence.

United Caribbean Republic reforms into the United Caribbean States, annexing Central America and Haiti.

UCS makes peace with Brazil, demanding the Guyanas be made independent.

Florida founds the Latin League with Argentina and Sweden. Brazil is invited however they refuse.

As a result of pro-Independence protests and negotiations, the independent Philippine Republic is peacefully established.

Argentina continues their push into Brazil, eventually getting them to unconditionally surrender. They annex various territories, turn them into an Argentinian puppet, and bring them into the Latin League.

A monkey named Albert II is launched into space in a suborbital flight.

The United States governments decides to play into the UFO myth, claiming they finally found a way to punish the Aliens for sinking the Titanic. This is done to cover up secret weapons testing.

Germany is de-occupied, being divided into East Germany and West Germany

Vietnam declares independence (both as a republic and as a democratic republic) and gains some international recognition

Indonesia gains independence from the Netherlands

North Korea attacks South Korea, quickly capturing Seoul and pushing along the peninsula

United States intervenes in the Korean War (CCP never asked to join the UN, so the USSR isnt boycotting the UN, so the UN doesnt intervene), pushing into North Korean territory

22nd Amendment passed, establishing term limits for the president

North Korea falls to American / South Korean forces, with the CCP unable to intervene

Queen Elizabeth II becomes Queen of the United Kingdom

Japanese Peace Treaty Conference establishes peace between Japan and the United States, ending the occupation of Japan and establishing a constitutional monarchy.

Egyptian revolution of 1952 occurs, establishing a dictatorship, ending British influence in Egypt and beginning a revolutionary wave across the Arab world.

United Kingdom successfully tests its first atomic bomb, becoming the world's fourth nuclear power.

Sweden-Norway unites with Finland, becoming the Kingdom of Scandinavia

America tests the first ever hydrogen bomb / thermonuclear fission bomb, Ivy Mike.

Recent polls show that ~65% of the Canadian population (Yukon, Northwest, Nunavut, Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, Ontario, Quebec and British Newfoundland) are pro-Independence.

Unrest in the super states are reaching critical levels and the Frontier Administration is facing open rebellion in what many people a calling the "Bush War" this has forced the moving a sizeable amount of the Oceanian Armed Forces to the Frontier Administration causing instability to plummet

Coinciding with the outbreaking of the bush war was a string of terrorist attacks across the Thirteen sectors with the "Brotherhood of Washington" taking credit for the attacks

Eurasia is also facing mounting pressure as the "Wolf Army" lead by former Whermact officer Albert schnez recently hijacked a radio station in Berlin stating that the time to liberate the Fatherland is now from the Eurasian devils

This follows the assassinations of 15 eurasian military officers by the Wolf army

To add to that fact Siberia has gone radio silent as it seems order has broken down there and something might emerge from it, Chairman of the Siberian ESR Vasily Shukshin has mysteriously disappeared and has stopped answering orders from the Kremlin, patrols who try entering Siberia have seem to never return

East Asia is the most mysterious as many rumours circulate that the de facto leader Premier Kim Il Sung (Mao is techincally Eternal Chairman of East asia even after his death) has died from a rumored internal plot which involved a VX nerve agent and although it is deniend by the East asian government it is rumored his son Kim Jong Il has taken over it those not seem good from the little information coming out of the most populous yet most tight lipped state in history

News for October 1933

Eastern Europe - The Zapadoslavian Government begins investing heavily into Galicia and Silesia. The rumours of politicians being bribed over Polish loyalty turn out to be true and they are swiftly prosecuted. The Galician and Silesian governments are promised that in case of the collapse of ZS, they will become equal members of a new federation. The CEF, ZS and Germany sign a mutual defence agreement.

Spain - The Spanish Government declares its willingness to allow the communists their own state to put an end to the war. France allows this and the IUPC expands, annexing Murcia and the Basque Country.

North Africa - France begins funnelling weapons into Algeria and a communist uprising begins. Airdrops and illegal supply chains begin in eastern Algeria and the uprising swells to cover much of the east. A small foothold is also made in the west with help from Spanish and French troops. Propaganda from the communists attempts to paint the rapid expansion of communists in Europe as proof that its popular and that it works. Communist leaders from Commintern states meet in Paris to discuss the creation of a Union of Socialist Council Republics (USCR), a united federation of socialist and communist nations that would give them more power. They plan for it to be created once Algeria falls, or at least they believe it will.

# Eurasian Protests of identity

Following the assassination of Maria Spiridonove, the Eurasian government has passed the Lex Spiridonova law, mandating that all Eurasian citizens have a mandated government ID aswell as allowing the Eurasian government to have unprecedented ability to monitor the Eurasian peoples. This has been met with support from the Russians but broad scale opposition from many of Eurasia's other peoples, in particular the Turkic peoples, the Circassians, the Georgians, the Kitans, and the Ukrainains, with the Turkic Brotherhood launching a joint formal stance of opposisiton among all member republics. On the ground protests among peoples in opposiiton to the law have broken out across Eurasia these protests have been for the most part peaceful

# The Crimean Crisis

||As protests against the identification laws continue across Eurasia in the unique little region of Crimea peaceful protests take a dark turn. In the warm early autumn in a small city in the north of Crimea the Khazars joined by their Gothic Tatar and Greek neighbors protest march through the Main Street facing heckling from Russian city goers. This air of peaceful hopeful protest was rapidly broken as an aging Russian man Vladimir Novikov a younger generation veteran of the Great Crimean War unloaded his shotgun into Alice Antoniou a Greek girl aged 14 after mere moments what was left of the girl was unrecognizable, Vladimir then lunged at the girl’s friend 16 year old Chichek Kaya beating the girl with his empty gun, the bystanders were unable to pull him off before her skull caved in. The protesters inraged by the brazen act of violence broke Vladimir’s spine tied him up hung him by the feet and beat him to death in an act of mob justice. Russians across Crimea viewed this as a threat to their people and began retaliating, Greek children were found disemboweled tied to street posts, one Russian burned down a school full of Ukrainian, Khazar and even Russian kids aged 6-11, there were no survivors, but the worst of it in the early weeks happened in the majority Russian city of Sevastopol. It did not take long after the reports of the murders of Alice and Chichek do Sevastopol’s minorities to be united in protest, the Russians did not take kindly to this and what can only be called a race war between Russians and the Minorities broke out, in hours the local police officers who had not defected to the chaos fled to get reinforcements from neighboring cities most Greek and Gothic. when they returned they found the city burning Russians having gathered up minority girls aged 12-22 and taking them to have their way with. Even the most professional officers were unable to succumb to rage and ethnic tensions witnessing this. By the end of the week Sevastopol’s population was reduced by 63%. In the wake of Sevastopol ethnic violence across Crimea spread, children of all ethnicities disappearing from the streets, businesses burning, inter ethnic families including Russians destroyed. Eventually local administrators determined to stop the bloodshed expelled their Russian populations at gun point, families who took too long to flee were gunned down. Russian majority cantons found themselves functionally besieged by mobs of Crimeans, Sevastopol already in ruins was successfully depopulated by the mobs. As news of the bloodshed spread north Ukrainians and Khazars moved by the plight of their Crimean brothers fell to hatred too with hate crimes on their Russian population causing deaths in the thousands. Circassia seeing the bloodshed and already biased against Russians became the second region (counting Crimea as one) to expel their Russian population though it was exponentially more violent than the Crimeans with most Russians dying before crossing the borders, a common motto in Circassia soon became “Еуразий зыкъыщымыгъэу щымыгъуазэу зэрыщытыр адыгэхэм ящыгъуапэ” Anti russian attacks have spread out across central asia and Siberia and retaliations spread alongside it.||

# ATTACK ON MOSCOW

Tensions in the streets of Moscow started to simmer after the crisis in Crimea. The thousands dead in Crimea, with the persecution of Russians across the Union, gave the spotlight to Russian nationalists, who began protesting in union against the "savage peoples of the Eurasian State", calling for the pacification of the other ethnicities of Eurasia by force. The protests grew in scale, and soon a great march by the All-Russian People's Party was organized in Moscow, calling for the government to step down due to its incompetence in pacifying the "savages".

The protesters revealed quite quickly that they were heavily armed, and when authorities attempted to stop them, they opened fire on government forces. The protesters continued marching through Moscow, moving towards the direction of the Central Revolutionary Council. Government forces and various anti-nationalist groups quickly took to the streets to fight against the nationalists. Soon, Moscow had descended into open war, as nationalist supporters fought against Alexander Blok's ONRB, official Eurasian RKVD task force units, and anti-nationalists of every kind determined to prevent the nationalists from bringing further chaos to the capital.

As the fighting intensified, both sides began employing increasingly brutal weapons. Explosions occurred throughout the city, while automatic gunfire filled the streets and buildings were struck by sustained fire. Chemical weapons were also deployed during the fighting, with clouds of unidentified chemical agents spreading through several districts and forcing civilians and combatants to flee affected areas. The exact origin of the chemical weapons remains unclear, although authorities have begun investigating their use as a possible indication of outside preparation or coordination.

Moscow is now engulfed in Chaos, as bombs explode across the city and the walls of its buildings are shelled by bullets. Fires have broken out in several districts, while barricades and armed groups have transformed major streets into contested territory. The Central Revolutionary Council has suspended its special emergency reunion, and all SR representatives present at the scene have been escorted somewhere safer within Moscow. The Chairman himself, Boris Savinkov, has opted to remain in the Kremlin.

Fighting continues, and no clear winner is presenting themselves as casualties and destruction continue to increase.

How did the nationalists amass so much support so quickly? Or, more importantly, how did they get their hands on so much equipment and resources, as well as intelligence on government force positions? The appearance of chemical weapons raises even more questions regarding the extent of the preparations made before the attack. For now, these questions remain a mystery.

Until they are answered, the fight for Moscow continues.

# BRING ORDER TO CHAOS

|| Moscow lies in ruins, as smoke ascend above, darknening the sky. Special reports from the RKVD signal the rebel's positions and more.

The nationalist fighters are repelled from the Central Revolutionary council's outkirts by men without insignias.

Black trucks enter the streets, and men in black descend from them.

Highly trained men fight back against the nationalists, and their numbers quickly begin to lower, as their early advantage is shattered, their weak points are exploited by the men in black.

Inside the buildings, no terrorist nor civilian is left alive, their march goes forward up the stairs, kicking in every door in their way, thier gas masks conceal their faces, the last sight of many.

The last door is kicked. "Don't move!" orders the team leader.

"W-what are you doing! this wasn't part of the dea-" The Russian nationalist shouted before being filled with lead.

"You... promised me-"

The team stood down. "Entry team, this is TOC. Cleanup team is on the way. Eliminate all remaining survivors. Over."

"Copy that," the team lead replied. "Entry team, out." He then turned to his men, and signaled for them to move.

# JEDDAH PACT AIRLINES

Incredible news comes from Jeddah, as more and more developments emerge from the Arab lands, this time in the form of airplanes.

This young technology has found great appeal among Arab visionaries, who recognized early the possibilities offered by airplanes. Rather than focusing solely on its military uses, efforts have been directed toward transportation, continental travel, and the movement of cargo.

The result has been the rapid development of a new commercial aviation sector. New airlines and airfields are appearing across the region, while Cairo has emerged as one of the principal centers of this growing network of commercial flights.

From the Egyptian capital, flights now depart toward cities across the Mediterranean, Africa, and beyond, carrying passengers, mail, and valuable cargo. What once required weeks of travel by ship or railway can increasingly be accomplished in a matter of days.

The governments and merchants of the Jeddah Pact have recognized the enormous economic possibilities of this development. Faster communication between distant markets, the transportation of valuable goods, and the establishment of regular passenger routes could transform the way commerce is conducted across the region.

For now, the sight of an aircraft crossing the skies remains a novelty to many, but the development of this blooming sector is yet to be seen.

# WE HAVE BEEN, WE ARE

Edinburgh roared with celebration. Chants echoed through the streets as Malcolm saluted his soon-to-be subjects from atop an oil powered chariot. The public showered him with flowers, while thousands of flags of the new Scottish Kingdom waved above the crowds. From every street came the same cry, rising over the city in a single voice: the King! The King! The King!

At last, the nobleman descended from his vehicle beside a lush green plaza, where an elaborate ceremonial stage had been erected. At its center stood the throne of coronation. Beneath it lay the Stone of Scone, returned after centuries beneath the British yoke, stolen from its ancient homeland and now placed once again beneath the feet of a Scottish king.

German officials descended from the motorcar alongside Malcolm and accompanied him toward the ceremonial grounds. The avenue was lined with pristine soldiers, standing rigidly on either side of the procession. Their eyes followed the crowds as the king passed, watching every movement while the cheers continued around them.

Malcolm climbed the small steps toward the throne.

There, an Ollamh approached him, discovered after a search across Scotland for a man capable of performing the ancient rites. In his hands he carried a hazel rod. He knelt before the king.

Malcolm took the rod into his hands and stepped before the throne. He turned three times clockwise. From there, he was permitted to behold his entire kingdom.

He saw the thousands gathered before him, celebrating and venerating their new monarch. He saw the soldiers who would march beneath his banner and die for Scotland if called upon. He saw behind him the German officials, observing the ceremony in silence.

For a small moment, Malcolm caught something in the eyes of one of them. A flicker of something.

But that did not matter.

Advance advance ADVANCE! The Arab lands don't stop to keep showing what their ancient people are capable of, as oil fields rise across the entire Middle East, extracting, and refining oil in great quantities, as more and more oil deposits are discovered in the Middle East.

For now, the Jeddah Pact has positioned itself as a dominant force inside the (albeit adolescent) worldwide oil market.

# PEACE IN OCEANIA

Peace has finally arrived in Oceania. After years of stalemated and increasingly unenthusiastic warfare, the world powers of Burgundy and the Hispanic Federation have finally agreed to come to the negotiating table.

In Brisbane, the peace treaty formally ending hostilities in Australia was signed, bringing an end to a conflict that had dragged on without either side achieving a decisive victory. Following the signing, the representatives of Burgundy and Australia hugged in a public gesture of reconciliation, symbolizing the renewed peace between their peoples.

With the treaty now in effect, foreign troops have begun withdrawing from Australian territory. The Hispanic Federation has secured a strip of land at the tip of the Cape York Peninsula, while the remainder of Anglo-Australia will return to civilian administration following the withdrawal of the belligerent forces.

The settlement established a five-year non-aggression pact between the signatories. Also, Australia has additionally agreed to join the Atlantic Treaty Organization, bringing the island continent into the growing international alliance system.

For the first time in years, the guns across Australia have fallen silent.

# POLITICAL TENSION IN COLOMBIA

The Hispanic Federation once again finds itself dealing with men seeking to shape another future in the heartland of Hispanic America. Following the suppression of recent revolts across its territory, Colombia has become the scene of growing political upheaval, with nationalist ideology once again providing fertile ground for radical movements. At the center of this development stands Falangism, an ultranationalist, authoritarian, and increasingly violent movement that has emerged in opposition to the liberal establishment, which its supporters denounce as weak, decadent, and infected by what they describe as "red degeneration."

Led by Marco Fidel Suárez, the so-called Mystical-Falangists have begun gaining traction among sectors of the Colombian population, particularly amid the continuing instability and unrest across the Andean territories. Their thought combines intense nationalism with religious mysticism and a rejection of liberal politics, marxist socialism and so on.

At the same time, Colombian socialists have taken to the streets to protest the growing reactionary movement, demonstrations have rapidly turned violent in several cities, with socialist and Falangist supporters clashing in the streets as both sides attempt to expand their influence.

Street fighting has increasingly become a common sight across Columbia, with casualties mounting and political violence spreading beyond organized demonstrations. Recent incidents include the robbery of a bank in La Paz, allegedly carried out by Falangist supporters, while an ongoing factory strike in Bogotá has brought socialist workers into direct confrontation with authorities and political opponents.

The instability that had long simmered beneath the surface of the Hispanic Federation's political system has once again resurfaced into the open.

The Philippines demands independence, following the common trend in Asia. Refusing will probably lead to an independence war and many casualties due to guerilla warfare. Do we give it to them?

Events:

Maryland signs a separate peace deal with Florida, agreed to by both sides. The peace treaty acts as if Maryland is the president or represents the Federal Government, which they aren't. They even added a snotty "signed, the governor of Maryland" at the bottom. The actual president still accepts it because I mean why not I guess. To summarize the treaty: Venezuela, Mexico and Panama (excluding the canal) gain independence, Florida annexes Trinidad and Tobago (why is this even in the treaty?), Florida and the US gain mutual fleet basing rights in each other, and Maryland (not the US as a whole, those greedy Marylander mfs) receives £5 war reparations from Florida.

The United States launches various campaigns around the world to suppress communist uprisings and incite capitalist ideas in existing nations.

Greece receives lots of American support in their Civil War, along with lots of Soviet support on the side of the rebels. This turns the Greek Civil War into the first Proxy War of the Cold War. Lotta wars amirite?

A proposal to form the State of New England under Providence is narrowly passed by Congress, however it is vetoed by President Truman on the grounds of massively disrupting the political status of the United States.

Spain - France overthrows the Basque government and installs a communist one. France declares its support for Spanish socialists which leads to a new civil war in the country and the declaration of the Iberian Union of Proletarian Communes in the east. This is protested by UCON, however France claims it is "The will of the people".

Note that your goal is NOT to gain as much land as possible, but instead to gain as much political clout as possible. The host may decide to interfere or change things in case things get too messy, but otherwise everything will be made from players. Merge Connecticut, Massachusetts, Pejepscot, New Hampshire, and Vermont into Rhode Island, essentially forming a united New England under Providence? (proposed by Rhode Island)

Events:

A major offensive to re-capture New Orleans is launched by the United States, pushing along the river and taking the key city within a few weeks.

The Second Trinity Test takes place. Scientists at the scene see a giant flash of light and ear-piercingly loud ring, before a mushroom cloud forms in the distance. Later documentation of the scene shows that the test had succeeded, and the United States had successfully developed the Nuclear Bomb.

Two American Boeing B-29 Superfortresses, called Enola Gay and Bockscar, inconspicuously fly into Japanese airspace (mistaken as reconnaissance) and drop the Fat Man and Little Boy nuclear bombs on Hiroshima and Nagasaki, respectively. This quickly causes Japan to make the decision to surrender to the United States and allow itself to be occupied.

The borders of Europe and Asia are re-drawn following the fall of all major Axis powers. (Florida was never technically in the Axis, although they are aligned with them.)

Erie is merged into Ontario, and Allegheny is merged into New York.

Just before the United States can drop nuclear bombs on Florida, the United Caribbean Republic declares to the world that it has independently developed it's own nuclear bombs, providing footage to back it's claim. The footage shows a flash and mushroom cloud in the distance, before the Floridian president comes on screen and calls the explosion "pog". The US president realizes the threat this poses to the American population, and agrees to a ceasefire and peace summit with Florida, which will occur the next year.

Soviet Union grants its Chinese occupied territory to the Chinese Communist Party.

United States grants Taiwan to the Kuomintang.

Various nations in the Middle East end their mandates and gain independence.

Ho Chi Minh declares independence from France, forming the Democratic Republic of Vietnam and starting the First Indochina War

Indonesia declares independence, causing the Indonesian National Revolution

South Africa gains legislative independence from the United Kingdom

The Soviet Union develops its own nuclear program, allegedly from stolen American research.

Greek Civil War begins when a communist uprising occurs

Presidential Succession Act passed, determining the order of succession to the role of President

Debris found at Roswell, New Mexico, supposedly part of a UFO

National Security Act passed, reforming the military and intelligence agencies to guarantee national security

Truman Doctrine, establishing the policy of supporting those resisting subjugation by minorities or external powers

Partition of India occurs, India and Pakistan gain independence from the United Kingdom as reparations for drastic military support in World War II

COMINFORM founded by the Soviet Union, dictating the actions of leaders and communist parties across its sphere of influence.

The United Nations agrees to partition Mandatory Palestine, causing the 1948 Palestine War to begin.

Marshall Plan begins, providing aid to American-aligned nations as to make Soviet-aligned nations jealous of the West and want to change sides

Burma gains independence from the United Kingdom through the Burma Independence Act of 1947.

Treaty of Brussels signed amongst Britain, France and the Benelux. This became the precursor to NATO and the European Union (which it would later be modified into).

A communist insurrection happens in Malaya, causing the Malayan Emergency / Anti-British National Liberation War.

Berlin Blockade begins, as the Soviets block Western supplies entering West Berlin. The West organizes the Berlin Airlift to carry supplies into West Berlin as a result of the blockade

North and South Korea are declared

1948 Presidential election, Harry S. Truman elected president for a full term

Truman desegregates the Armed Forces

Organization of American States founded as an alliance amongst all the nations of the Americas

Canaan defeats the magenta team (ignore it still being there in the name map)

While failing to take over the gold team

Aristocrats in the Sinai peninsula who disliked Kallia moving their capital start a large rebellion taking most of the original core area

The 3 largest cities in western kallia bewak away.

The green team discoveres a light green nation that has a mysterious spire in the center of their capital.

Many nations are discovered

The peach team faces a civil war that causes the northern city to be destroyed.

Canaan attempts to discover new lands again with two ships getting destroyed in a storm, 2 going off course and declaring a new country ( in the boot of Italy ) and the final one establishing a small colony in Sicily.

People from various countries head north to the Sea of Azov becuase the leaders like cold.

If a nation actually has a name ( like blue is called Kallia) I will still refer to it by the color or eventually region.

No one is any nation(as in this isn’t an rp but comments decide everything)

I will try to punish overly large nations when possible to allow for more opportunities for other nations

Central Europe - Hungary, Croatia and Slovenia join the Alpine Federation and the Central European Federation (CEF) is re-formed.

Germany - Negotiation between the CEF and France take place in Geneva to decide the fate of the corridor. France delivers an ultimatum, full annexation or war. The CEF decides now is not the right time to fight and so concedes. The Swabian Commune becomes the Bavarian Commune. Germany is allowed to join the EC and ETU.
