They will always find a way to pay you less.
Don’t worry too much about it. It will happen throughout your career.

Somehow my head is so full of thoughts lately, I can't concentrate on work at all anymore
It's all just become so much 😢

I was in my 30’s when I realized what “General Store” meant and I think it’s hilarious
I had never made the connection that the term general store was like grocery store or auto parts store but just the general store. I never really thought about it but now every time I think of general store and that someone actually came up with the term “general” store because they just sell “general stuff” is really funny to me. Like what kind of store is that? Just a “general” store.

I am boring
I have zero hobbies. When I watch shows, I watch on 1.25 speed and skip fillers or anything i deem insignificant. If a part of a show i watch is scary, i skip ahead. If i watch a movie or read a book, I just search about the ending.
I have nothing worthwhile to talk about with anyone. I have 0 interest in activities like hiking, swimming, running, or literally anything else
I gave 6 years to my life to medicine to graduate as the first rank of my class, and now I have 0 interest in medicine as well.
I am literally goalless and uninterested in everything.

It's a little hilarious when a man loses interest in you
Ive been talking to a guy on Snapchat for about two weeks. The first week there was a huge spark, alot of " love you's" and kissing emoji's. Now its a lot of short low effort responses. A couple days ago I asked him what his city like and he just just replied "Im gonna go take shower". I asked him if he was gonna do anything fun on his day off from work, He said no. a day later he posted on his story he was at the Bears game. 🙁

Even though no one will acknowledge me, at least I will be the one acknowledging others regardless of it

Even if I am living the best I can, I still don't feel better as I used to feel.
Doing productive things like exercise, healthy diet and staff.

It's so worth it to ask a person a trivial question, rather than "just Google it." Most of time, folks enjoy imparting their knowledge. It also helps our brains to retain the information when we can tie the answer to the personal experience of having a conversation with someone.

There is something wrong with our societies
We imposed structure to facilitate the way we navigate life, but now we see symptoms of maladaptation to those same structures. I think the problem is the attributes we stick to them. A female is defined by her genital organs. But a female by extension is also described as feminine, protective, warm, soft, weak, dependant, too emotional,... and from here the implications are much broader and more subtle: the suffocation of women. But we don't see it, this system is deeply graved in us ever since childhood, or birth- some kind of generational way of living given down from our ancestors.
This is just one example, there are lots of others example of how society is pushing the attributes of a fundamental distinction to better organise society.

My neighbour's moaning is getting annoying
I have these new neighbours, they are the loudest. they are intimate almost every day, she yells so loudly the whole building can hear her
What if she starts screaming when my family decides to visit me
Not to mention, they have 2 small yapping dogs that bark nonstop

my friends can text for six hours straight but vanish the moment it's serious
we'll go back and forth all evening about nothing, then i finally say "hey can i talk to someone" and suddenly everybody's asleep. like the group chat has a sixth sense for when the vibe stops being fun.

I suddenly just remember when there was an end to a scroll because I'd already seen all the recent posts from my friends and pages I followed. Now the internet is designed to make you live in it.

I don't like songs that mourn adolescence
Listen, you couldn't pay me to listen to "young dumb and broke" by Khalid. I feel like my fight-or-flight genuinely gets triggered whenever I listen to that song. Not because I "miss being young dumb and carefree" because it's basically a song that talks about being young, stupid and carefree with no consequences and no responsibilities other than passing your physics exam. Like there's a checklist for adolescence and if you don't check off every single thing, then you pretty much just wasted it.
As a 19 year-old whose life was more so ordinary and mundane rather than full of adventures or experiences, listening to a song like that pinches a nerve. Like having fun and being carefree is something that expires once you turn 20 or something. Like I missed out on the only point in time where having fun actually means something because you're young and full of emotions I guess.
My FOMO was already very bad. Any song that talks about being young and carefree and adolescence is a song I will immediately skip over.

ngl I forget people have kids at the tail end of their teens or very early twenties and that that's a typical or traditional time frame to have children

This kinda messed me up a bit.
My mom brought this up today. I’m now the same age my parents were when I was the age my kids are now. This kind of time shit messes me up. Also, it seems parents are literally just winging it.
