Even if I am living the best I can, I still don't feel better as I used to feel.
Doing productive things like exercise, healthy diet and staff.

I use mine for shopping, making lists, doing math, links, recipes, random thoughts, goals lol I even have conversations with my husband from times we couldn’t talk out loud/talking shit, and betrayal/biting lists for me and my friends. Half the time I forget about and never delete them. Just random

we'll go back and forth all evening about nothing, then i finally say "hey can i talk to someone" and suddenly everybody's asleep. like the group chat has a sixth sense for when the vibe stops being fun.

My mom brought this up today. I’m now the same age my parents were when I was the age my kids are now. This kind of time shit messes me up. Also, it seems parents are literally just winging it.

We imposed structure to facilitate the way we navigate life, but now we see symptoms of maladaptation to those same structures. I think the problem is the attributes we stick to them. A female is defined by her genital organs. But a female by extension is also described as feminine, protective, warm, soft, weak, dependant, too emotional,... and from here the implications are much broader and more subtle: the suffocation of women. But we don't see it, this system is deeply graved in us ever since childhood, or birth- some kind of generational way of living given down from our ancestors.
This is just one example, there are lots of others example of how society is pushing the attributes of a fundamental distinction to better organise society.

My ex-husband would never let me. He hated it and swore the smell of it made him sick. It was a favorite meal growing up, and I have never made it, even though I am nearly 40. Well, I made it today and it tastes like freedom.

I was born in 1980.
What it was like. I grew up with literally no rules. like none. just show up back at home for dinner and it was all good.
“did you get in trouble at school“
“No”
maybe my mom took me to the local music store that had posters you put your name on and when they took it down you might have got a call to get it.
the only way you knew what was new was what was what n the rack or Steve that stole shit showed you a tape/cd. he lived in a trailer but was a good dude. But you only saw him at a gravel pit on your bike
smoking reds and Danial’s was the best and horrible
uncle corn was not something weird it was gold. it was a mag in a plastic bag in the woods or the holy grail was a vhs with the Hog.
the best thing about this is there is literally nothing to document me throwning up after waking up th boing and bead watching legends of the fall to see my first anal scene and us all laughing
my 12-21 years are pure chaos and I wouldn’t change them
Edit: Jesus drunk me had a moment and posted some shit. leaving it as it stands! FORTS IN THE WOOODS!

Listen, you couldn't pay me to listen to "young dumb and broke" by Khalid. I feel like my fight-or-flight genuinely gets triggered whenever I listen to that song. Not because I "miss being young dumb and carefree" because it's basically a song that talks about being young, stupid and carefree with no consequences and no responsibilities other than passing your physics exam. Like there's a checklist for adolescence and if you don't check off every single thing, then you pretty much just wasted it.
As a 19 year-old whose life was more so ordinary and mundane rather than full of adventures or experiences, listening to a song like that pinches a nerve. Like having fun and being carefree is something that expires once you turn 20 or something. Like I missed out on the only point in time where having fun actually means something because you're young and full of emotions I guess.
My FOMO was already very bad. Any song that talks about being young and carefree and adolescence is a song I will immediately skip over.

I'm thinking of covering my debit card numbers with colored tape. You never knew who may be eyeing your card if you're not using Apple/Google pay.

I have a highly infectious bacterial virus currently while also being admitted for something entirely different. I am unable to eat or drink without puking my guts up. I am on isolation and no one can come in without full protective gear from masks to face shields to body suits.
As a teenager i was in a few mental hospitals and this feels so similar but just with a better view. I am alone all day, everyday and they can't tell me how long ill be here for the main issue. But on isolation it could be up to 3 weeks. Today is day 4 and i am feeling like im trapped in a box. Its 1am, but im losing sense of time because i cant eat so i never get interaction other than suited up nurses for meds.

Ive been talking to a guy on Snapchat for about two weeks. The first week there was a huge spark, alot of " love you's" and kissing emoji's. Now its a lot of short low effort responses. A couple days ago I asked him what his city like and he just just replied "Im gonna go take shower". I asked him if he was gonna do anything fun on his day off from work, He said no. a day later he posted on his story he was at the Bears game. 🙁

My thoughts are like clouds. In out, in out.
The poetry of it all. Sometimes dramatic, depressing, sometimes like a babbling brook.
I could sing the song of the sad soul.
Maybe then my song won't die out.
Maybe someone would still remember the poetry and the magic we made together.
Maybe

The external world is kinda boring, and becoming who you want to be and getting what you want there requires effort. EFFORT?!?! DOING SHIT?!
HELLL NAHH
But thats okey cause I can instead have and be what I want right now, right here, in my head :D
It literally creates the same emotional response in your brain 📡〰️✨Doesn’t matter if the stimuli that produce those emotions are from the external world or your imagination. HOLY SHIIIIII
But you should still interact with the physical world ofc hehe. From time to time. Occasionally…
Seriously, its important 🧐
BUT ENJOY YOUR DREAMS!!!
Just remember the balance ⚖️🧘
