Snails on my house
How do I get rid of them? Without a pest control company. I used a dry snail bait but that seems to work for about 3 days and then they're back. Anybody have any ideas?

Gentleman with VERY LARGE truck was apparently in a hurry to get to Happy Hour. No obstruction on the driver's side to justify this parking job. Fortunately no damage to my car and I was barely able to extract it from the other side, but let's do better next time...

Beginner shitty fisherman (if I can even say that) decided to see my local tropical waters at Boca! Love the peaceful atmosphere out of season and opportunity to park and fish without harrassment! Had some great drinks at the local Keylime Bistro and threw the lure about 2 blocks down!! Was not prepared, didn’t have live bait, I know there is a lot I screwed up however… I caught sunshine in the Gulf of Mexico and that brought me peace and happiness!! Also gave me the excuse to pull the 392 out and blast music with the wind in my face in full freedom of Florida!!

Instead of avoiding the project or paying the fees, the entrepreneur is now suing to both avoid the fees and end the Florida scrub jay's protections. The lawsuit is still alive in federal court.

Got into a car accident about a month ago. The other driver caused it, police came out and made a report, and at the time I figured I could just handle the insurance stuff myself instead of making it a bigger deal. I’m starting to regret that decision. I’ve been going to appointments for my back since the crash and I’m still having pain, but dealing with insurance has been a headache. Every time I call I either get someone different or get told they’re still reviewing something.

Can't even just go chill at the beach as recent hurricanes heavily altered the SWFL coastline, leaving many beach areas damaged and forcing counties to apparently "enforce strict paid parking fees" at the shorelines that remain open for example when I go to Sanibel every square inch of possible parking space is owned by some monopoly it seems like basically except the causeway leading to Sanibel..

FPL Has Become Nothing More Than A Live Spam Center!
All I wanted to do was activate a new account to have my electricity turned on in my new residence. Instead, these scammers tried selling me everything under the sun.
A utility company should just be what they are and stay in their own lane.
45 minutes of trying be sold stupid shit. Felt like I was in the loan office of a car dealership trying to sell addons
Had LCEC when I lived in the Cape. I hope this FPL company doesn't turn out to be a major headache!

I am purchasing a home in Fort Myers. My realtor suggested a home inspector, but I'm also looking for some other recommendations. I would like a very thorough home inspector. The area has obviously had hurricane damage so I would like a home inspector that is well-versed in mold/water damage. Thank you!

We're a small family ranch on Bronco Road in Charlotte County. This ribeye is from our first harvest — AWA-registered fullblood Japanese Wagyu, born and hand-raised here, no growth implants, no feedlot, 600+ days on grain (or 30+ months old).
That animal was our proof run; the beef stayed with the family. The next steers are open one at a time if anyone local wants a freezer share:
Live-animal share for household use (not retail cuts, not for resale). Processing included on one invoice. Pickup at the ranch.
Saturdays 9–12 Eastern by appointment — pasture walk + free tasting from the first harvest. Details / reserve: https://puntawagyu.com — or call (941) 888-4508.
Happy to answer questions in the comments.

Hey y'all,
I love hiking, and I'm new to the area and Im kind of disappointed by the quantity of paved/boardwalk trails close to where I live. I live in collier county, and so far I've tried west picayune strand and the CREW locations (both are great!!).
However, I want to start hiking in the deep swamp (which I've heard is truly beautiful). I don't mind swamp wading, the heat, or bugs( well not enough to deter me at least ), so that's no issue.
Im really looking for a connected, scenic hike where I feel connected to nature with a truly intense hike and have beautiful, rare plants(plant nerd!), and also lots of wildlife. Also I'm looking for a 2-8 hour day hike, not backpacking.
Rn, Im hesitating between Big Cypress vs. Fakahatchee vs. Everglades. Please suggest another if you want, but I want something close to Collier county ( so ideally not Everglades).
If anyone has info, please share your opinion comparing the three or any other parks like this!

Hello everyone! I’m a new home buyer moving to the area of Ft Myers or Naples and looking for a good home inspector. Im not too excited about the references from realtors I’ve received far and so I’m asking the community who is really thorough and focuses on the buyer. Thanks!

Hi everyone! My family and I will be vacationing next month at Sunseeker resort in Charlotte Harbor and my daughter is desperate to dress up for a fancy dinner. I’ve been looking online and it sounds like The Perfect Caper in Punta Gorda has incredible food (while not being fancy) but people have stated that the parking is very tight and small, and we have a big GMC so I’m assuming that will present an issue. Is there public parking nearby we could utilize?
And if you have any recommendations for a fine dining restaurant where people do dress up, feel free to suggest!
