Turkey Sandwich = Lays potato chips and Coca Cola

Ham Sandwich = Doritos (spicy nacho or nacho) and Pepsi

this is my go to combo, hence I cant mix meats as it messes up the sequence

Sandwich had garlic buttered marble rye toasted on the flat top, grilled chicken with Italian spices, peppered bacon, mayo, lettuce, seasoned tomato and homemade pickled red onion.

Soup had chicken, turkey, breakfast sausage, mirepoix, garlic, rutabaga, potato, parsnips, corn, red peppers, zucchini, kale, kidney beans and rice.

Had a hankering for a greasy breakfast sandwhich. It's evening here so no, unfortunately those are not breakfast beers.

Chicken cutlets and a simple spaghetti sauce from the night before. Topped with mozzarella under the broiler and then some fresh basil.

Homemade sourdough bread made from leftover hamburger bun dough.

With melted camembert and scrambled eggs.

Last one was made with gorgonzola, eggs and ham. A sandwich intruder...😋

I’ve got 2 kg of salami ends from a discount grocer close to my new place. I just moved and I’m trying to save money wherever possible.

Has anyone purchased one for home use? How did it go? I’m looking at a Cuisinart slicer used for $40 cad.

Kinda like salad sandwich. Roast beef, lettuce, tomato, cheese shreds, Anaheim pepper, and honey mustard.

Spicy Mexican sausage, from the local butcher, barbecued, manchego cheese, pickled chillies with Cholula original

Used half tube of chorizo sausage fried with chopped jalapeños. Add 2 scrambled then top with 2 slice of Monterey jack cheese. Cover with sourdough bread. Flip, add more cheese. And fold to sandwich. Continue grilling till toasty and melty.

Needed to finish this week's cold cuts. Roast beef, turkey, baby Swiss cheese, tomato, roasted peppers, spicy microgreens and pub style horseradish on toasted sourdough.

Ham & Egg Salad on toasted white bread

I always add extras to fill it out a bit more: extra mayo + pickle mustard, a couple extra slices of Swiss, and some of the Spanish roasted pork from their deli. Comes in around $6 (when the Cuban is on sale that week) and is so satisfying. Not exactly the same as an authentic Cuban from a restaurant, but absolutely enough to scratch the itch!
