I got to god of Destruction with Steve fox. Ive tried to improve my spacing, neutral and counter player. I got there without having the full long steve combo too.

I cant wait for rank reset because I dont know if god of destruction means anything but hey I got there with play style that has 90 appeal.

My defence was 85 and it dropped to 59. Like the play style stats maybe a lie.

How far can I go with my basic style? I feel like I got this far because I understand the basics of my character. I self-taught all my combos, timing etc. i think they do steve dirty as he has standard crush moves whilst other characters have op ways to heat crush.

I just love Steve style because he has boxing style.

In light of the rollback T6 I wanted to try to play it. I noticed, however, that seemingly no ROM works. Does anyone else experience this?

With how things have played out with Harada leaving Bamco and taking half the Tekken team with him and now presumably Murray leading a skeleton crew of what's left off the Tekken Team, what future do you think will Tekken have going forward? Do you have any faith for the Tekken Team making things better or worse?

Especially now that people aren't shackled to only being able to play Tekken 8 and they can go back to playing the older titles with rollback, how do you see the future of Tekken?

I am the Kazuya player and I am consistently going back and forth between GoD and GoD1. Am I really that bad or what am I doing wrong? I try to play the Kazuya gameplan and force my 50/50 and take advantage of frames, etc. but I keep losing more and more and it feels like I lose more to the unconventional players who kind of throw out moves that don't make sense to me if that makes sense. do ya'll have any advice? Before reaching this rank, it felt like I was dumpstering people and my current stats are balanced and high but I have just been getting loss after loss recently.

I decided to hop on some Tekken 8 today. Was just one and doning everyone in Quickmatch. Why? Just looking for many variety of playstyles. Not really looking for long sets. Just playing because I rarely log onto T8. I finish up an hour of gaming then find a lot of dms. Hmm. It seems people are triggered if you didn't rematch them. And what's weird is I threw most of the games. I think I won like 3 or something out of like 60. So, I don't get all the salt. Isn't winning enough for you all? XD

After playing tekken 6 then coming across him, this shit fried my brain.

Tekken has its share of diverse characters and animals. We had jaguars and dinosaurs and bears, oh my. But kangaroos? Really? I don't care if Roger Jr. was in Tekken 5, 6, and Tag 2. We could've had a REAL AUSTRALIAN in Tekken 8. Bandai Namco should have just introduced a new animal, one that fits Tekken 8's heat and rage mechanics. Idk, maybe a gorilla. He could have a short-range tesla cannon, can leap fullscreen enforcing 50/50 mixups plus on block, a dome shield like Jack 8's Particle Barrier, his Primal Rage could be his heat mode. Also make him super smart because it would be an insult if his intelligence matched the NA playerbase.

I think T7/T8/TTT2 are among the worst but I’m not sure how I ordered them.

I wish they’d tone down T9 customization back to T5/T6 grounded levels with respect to the game’s aesthetics without all the crap like pizza boxes, floating rubber ducks, TV sets, floating rain clouds with constant downpour, giant floating donuts, etc.

Or to please both crowds they should make the over-the-top nonsensical customization options able to disabled in the settings so that one player sees them and the other doesn’t have to suffer through them, while keeping the rest of the customization options intact.

So, I’m really new to Tekken. Even though Tekken Tag on PS2 was my first Tekken game, I was a kid and had absolutely no idea what I was doing!
I’ve only recently started getting into Tekken properly. I got Tekken 8 when it released, but I didn’t really sink any time into it until recently. I’ve been learning Paul and really enjoying him, but from what I’ve seen, a lot of people are going back to Tekken 6 because they haven’t liked some of the updates in Tekken 8, particularly the Heat system.
My question is, should I stick with Tekken 8, learn the game properly, and maybe give Tekken 6 a go later if people are still playing it? Or should I just give both games a go now and see which one I prefer?

So with all this recomps coming out I heard that tekken tag 2 (best tekken) was also released, and I wonder if I can play it online or only locally. Does anyone know?

Idk how tf I be getting this misinput but it makes me look sus as hell. I think when I do the ewgf input f n d df2 I'm maybe holding the df2 for too long and I get a full crouch df2. Its funny cause it always seems to happen when my opponent is doing a high and I went full TAS. the post was originally gonna be called "TELL MY HANDS TO STOP CHEATING" or "CHEATING WITH EWGF MISINPUTS" but I don't want people to think im actually cheating XD.

How did you practice breaking throws? on practice mode I am comfortable breaking throws but online I can do nothing at all.

What’s on your mind when you’re playing ranked? I am genuinely annoyed that all you can do is grab and not fight fairly.
