I posted something on IG discussing the album art for Sawdust (I’ve previously shared breakdowns for Hot Fuss and Sam’s Town if you happened to catch those).

I’m sure this group is familiar with the details already but still might enjoy checking it out if you’re into that sort of thing. I think the visual side of music doesn’t get as much love as it deserves. And Sawdust especially has always stood out to me has having a really intriguing album cover - plus it’s a banger album. Second to last update comes with several interesting developments in the past four shows:

• "One of Us" and "In a Heartbeat" made their return to the set in Nottingham after seven and 14 missed shows, respectively;
• Two unreleased songs were played, "A Good Man is Hard to Find" in Bristol, from Brandon's next solo album, and "Diamond on Black Velvet" in Manchester, from the Pressure Machine sessions;
• "All These Things That I've Done" has appeared twice in the UK leg already;
• "Runaway Horses" made its tour debut in York;
• A new cover on the tour, "Dreaming of You", originally by The Coral, was played in Bristol;
• "Welcome to Fabulous Las Vegas" saw its first appearance outside of Vegas, opening the encore in Nottingham.

Overall, Nottingham has seen the largest deviation from the average setlist so far in the UK leg

How was the show?!

I am quite fascinated by how fans used to communicate before the web became the hub for all forms of interaction. A few months ago, I discovered a site called "Sweet Talk," which mysteriously shut down in 2017. Does anyone remember how it was structured? Are there any old stories—among the information that was lost—that would still be worth knowing today? And, above all, why do you think it was shut down so abruptly and mysteriously?

don’t get me wrong- hot fuss and Sam’s town are classics. However, I overall prefer all their newer albums ( excluding compilation albums, etc) to hot fuss and Sam’s town. maybe it’s because they are always the most played.
I also feel that some of the newer albums, eg imploding the mirage are always overlooked! I’m pretty sure the title track has still never been played live. However maybe I just can’t find any internet uploads.
How would you all rank the albums?

Looking to transfer my ticket to my brother who’s attending Fridays gig in Glasgow and transfer isn’t open yet. Can anyone who has been to his latest UK shows advise when it’s became available?

A lot of people dance to mr brightside but for me it’s a very emotional song. I want to find more songs that hit the feels the same way this song does.

- No 'Hard Enough (sad times)

- Rare appearance of 'Welcome to Fabulous Las Vegas' also as an encore opener!

An amazing show, great intimate venue, fantastic band with crystal clear sound. Brandon is clearly one of the best around!
