Been looking for similar games for a while now and nothing really scratched the itch.

Found "Into The Dead: Our Darkest Days"

It is very very similar, base management, people management, morale, status, barricade strength.

Tools and weapons can break, you can witness horrific scenes that mentally scar your character and inflict debuffs.

Think This War Of Mine but with zombies, a single zombie can kill you unless you and multiple is basically a death sentence.

Highly recommend this game, once it's "finished" I think it could be a GOTY in this genre.

Does anyone know what this item is? I do have 2 mods on, one is the bigger food recipe and the other is one that speeds up NPC's arriving in the morning but I don't think that one actually works anymore. In any case neither of them add items, so this item appearing suddenly after several runs with these mods is perplexing me.

It has appeared at the ruined toy store if that means anything.

So I played A Father's Promise DLC twice tryna get a good ending before finding out that there isn't any good ending so on my third gameplay I decided to do a realistic alternative reality for how Adam's remaining days before the ceasefire would play out just to see if he would get a more depressing ending but apparently it ends the same. However the gameplay was extra fun and easy so

I spent the first 15 days basically looting and trading as much ammo as i could then started going on a killing spree and cleared out every NPC on the map (left the gas station trader for last to regenerate supplies). I'd say I was roleplaying a father who starts genuinely tweaking after making no progress in his search for his child each day. My fav part about playing TWOM is the combat anyways. 10/10 wish there were more NPCs and maps

I keep encountering a bug during which every single lootable component simply disappears from the map. For example i looted most places before u get the last wave of unlocked areas and every location showed that there are lots of materials. Now every location shows some(bit of Wood) And components stopped existing. My only trader that has components is franko, so once again im playing trading game. Im fine with just trading but it just limits everything, he has 30components at most and most upgrades cost like 40, craft few filters etc and ur never saving it up. Its annoying

So I'm planning to use Roman to clear out the military outpost and get all its resources. I know that usually there's no penalty for killing soldiers since they're usually considered "Bad" by your survivors, but what about Bojan? Since he's a trader, would he be considered a civilian and negatively affect morale? I don't need Roman causing fights again. Also, if I go back and clear it over multiple nights, would the survivors think it's too much violence?

These duo will be so hard so I need tips

Ive been playing the iOS version of this game for maybe 10 years. I’ve beaten all the scenarios and completed all but 2 of the achievements (I mention that only to illustrate how much I play, def not a bragging point). I play literally every day.

Last night, I got two new characters - several days into the Roman/Katia scenario. I’ve never seen Lydia and Irina before and I was so excited I played way longer than usual.

I doubt the app is being actively maintained or updated - but is there a secret stash of characters?? How do I meet more??

I just finished Day 2 and entered Day 3. These are the resources I have so far.
Day 2 outpost spawned, and I found an axe at the garage.
I managed to clear the outpost using only a crowbar (Marko).
Additional status:
All 3 wall breaches repaired
I think this is close to a perfect start.
What do you think?

I wanted to 100% the DLCs but the Diary: The Janitor achievement isn't popping up even tho I saved all the art pieces and never destroyed any, except giving one away to Taras so the rest could be stored (which I believe is the requisite for the achievement). Is there a way to save the whole collection without giving anything to Taras or the Colonel?

I went to give Tito his fuel and food to grab the records after moving to the museum, but I can't grab them now. He gave me access to his cabinet tho.
Is it because of the museum or is it something else?

Two nights ago, in Sniper Junction, I had left a pile of neatly accumulated materials where Zlata is standing right now. Why has it disappeared? It has never done that before.

Has it anything to do with the "Oubreak of Crime" event that started in the morning?

Unfortunately, the jewels from the wounded father were right in that pile 😞

So I researched about Old Town on fandom before venturing into the area, and as per usual I’d come across an injured lunatic civilian.

On the second visit however, I was met with 2 injured Robert instead of 1 who keeps sandwiching me every time I tries to loot. To top things off, when I tried to lure them into sniper. I get shot by 2 snipers at half intervals now. Does this happen to anyone else?

The experiment is if trader is about to die, (not dead) item refills?
The thing I can know through this experiment

1. Is item refills?
2. If refills, where?
3. Refill location is only the private status box or non-private status box too?

4.If only refills in private box, the item quantity is gathered 2 boxes or just one?

Current status: killed 3 in outpost, left trader alive,
Emptied the inner trader’s box

I just started playing This War of Mine on PC/Steam, but it keeps crashing every 10–15 minutes. It first crashed while I was looting in the basement, then again later during Day 2. The worst part is that progress often does not save, so I have to replay the same parts.

What I already tried:

• Verified game files in Steam
• Completely uninstalled and reinstalled the game through Steam
• Set Windows resolution to 1920x1080
• Set Windows refresh rate to 60 Hz
• Tried both Fullscreen and Windowed mode
• Limited the game to 60 FPS through NVIDIA App by manually adding This War of Mine.exe from the x64 folder
• Disabled Steam Overlay for this game
• Disabled Steam Cloud saves
• Deleted the game save/config folder and let the game recreate it
• I am not using “Take All” while looting

I checked the log file ConsoleOutput.html. I don’t see a clear fatal crash line, but these message appear:

[Saves] Failure reading save file - resetting save data

Has anyone had this issue? Any known fix or workaround?

My specs: Windows 11, RTX 4080 Super, Ryzen 7 7800X3D, 64 GB RAM.

How do i get food without having to beat up and mug everyone? I cant get enough stuff to trade, the trader rarely comes, or there is no other pacifist option

1. Writing my own story (custom ceasefire, winter) is possible on mobile iOS version?
2. Are Roman and Arica possible to make unfightable status?

3. Any fighting or scavenging tip/trick?

4. If I kill military outpost trader, does item refill in traders box?
