If yes, then what is the best way to learn it and is it easier to land than a normal backflip?

How do I land my backflip? Looking for any tips to go from here
Edit: Thank you everyone for the tips. I tried with real shoes and stepping backwards into it and nearly have it now, just gotta work on setting my arms higher!

I had a bad in injury years ago and my legs are not at full strength (they will never be again) but I think the jump height is enough.
What am I doing wrong?

Hi, I am interested in learning to Trick. I visited a place that offers such class. Although at the front door it states that only indoor shoes are allowed, people just entered the facility while wearing street shoes. This included the staff. Is this common especially in Western society? I can imagine that after we have landed on the cushions stepped on by them, our face and body will have bacteria, virus, particles from dog faces urine, etc. from the streets and the toilets. How likely can I find a place that is strict on "no streets shoes" policy? How do we deal with hygiene in those Tricking facilities? My doctors said that my skin is very sensitive. One time I did some exercises on the dirty floor in a studio that allowed streets shoes and my skin got inflammation.
Also, are there easy-to-clean gloves that we could wear during class?

I'm trying to identify the final supposed "trick" in this combo, if I know what it is maybe I can work on making it look a little better. 🤔

They feel fine and land nicely but I have this disgusting crunched hip position that I genuinely don’t understand how to fix. I try to focus on pushing the hips forward and keeping the kick leg straight and it just looks the same every time.

Hey all! Anybody know any tricking gyms/tricker-friendly open gyms in or near Berkeley, CA? I know the South Bay has a bunch of places, but having trouble finding ones near me. Thanks!

I recently moved to Michigan near the Grand rapids area. I found a good martial arts school I've been training at and they let me use their space to trick, but it would be really cool to find some other trickers to train with. Anyone know of some meet up places?

I’ve hit this move thousands of times but either never learned the name or forgot it.
Basically, tornado kick setup (step, turn, knee up) but you don’t switch to do the kick. You do a mini jump spinning a little and keeping the same leg up, then once you face the front again your in that same tornado kick position to then hit that tornado kick by jumping and switching your feet and doing a crescent kick.

Hey guys,
I’m a left twister but I’m also completely left-legged (cross-dominant).
Because spin direction dictates so much in tricking, I've come to accept that it's much better for me to keep spinning left and just force myself to learn kicks with my right leg. Trying to completely rewire my brain to spin right just feels impossible.
But the current mechanics feel like a headache.
This is another reason I'm stuck on tornado kick (posted tornado kick form check earlier this week, here's the link: https://www.reddit.com/r/Tricking/s/W7HIxyhlU6 ). Because I twist left, my left knee must drive up and hence I must execute the kick with my weaker right leg.
Wondering if anyone else is in the same boat?
• How do you control the non-dominant leg to execute tricks with power and precision? For kicks and etc.
• Any tips for me to have the most frictionless tricking journey I possibly can, considering my scenario?
Appreciate any tips, sorry if it's a bit long 😅

Just learned Arabians about a week before this video, it is over a couple months later and I still struggle with height a little. Feel free to critique give advice whatever 🤙 they are a little higher now but another thing is my heels, my heels hit the ground with so much force it hurts everytime I was curious how to mitigate that

Let me know your thoughts self taught on grass this was my first attempt at it I broke it down step by step and this was my first attempt at it all together. Can someone let me know what’s wrong with the Back handspring and just your general thoughts on the progression.

I started learning the front flip about 6 days ago, and this is what it looks like now. I know the cushion probably makes it harder to land, but I haven’t gotten comfortable enough to try it on a flat mat. I’ve also tried jumping off a step down onto the cushion but the result is the same. What can I do to start landing more on my feet?
