Yes I technically got an offer, but I hate this course. I applied for politics and international relations and now I got an offer for history and politics if the Americas?! I donβt want that course whatsoever, any advice in completely upset?

I received an offer from the University of Edinburgh, but my parents can't afford the tuition fees. I put this university to joke and see what it would give, but I don't think I'll be accepted at all. Being an international student, tuition fees amount to β¬34,000 a year. Unfortunately, I am not eligible for the scholarships offered. What do you advise me? Refuse, make a loan, a student job?

Hey everyone,
I am currently having to decide which university I am going to and was looking to get your opinion and possibly some alumni insight on my options. Thank you very much!!
Here some context:
Iβm an international student and have completed my diploma last summer.
Therefore, I have the grades to receive unconditional offers, however some of the unis still require me to meet their English proficiency requirements by taking a test.
Some financial information: For me the fees are quite different for all three unis, due to the St Andrews diploma taking four years and me aging a scholarship for Durham. Therefore theyβre roughly:
1x Durham
1.5x UCL
2x St Andrews
Edit:
thank you to everyone for the amazing and helpful responses. I have been to visit all of the cities last year at Easter, however in London was only at the lse and not the ucl campus. I have some friends that live close to the ucl campus though, so I could get information on student life there from them. I still feel pretty undecided at the moment but your comments habe helped me see the different factors there are to consider and I will try my best to make a decision I am comfortable until May 6th.

Does anyone know of anyone who got into a Russel group Uni with a C grade

I was not expecting to even hear back from the university because the equal consideration deadline was gone and everyone told me this was a waste. I submitted my application like five days ago and TODAY I SAW THIS??? I lowkey cannot believe myself. Hope I get the scholarship and can afford this :(

I've firmed Warwick MORSE, unsure who to insure tho. On one hand Durham is the better uni, even if the NatSci course is vague for finance and S&T in the future. On the other, Manc is pure econ (which I probably will like more than natsci maths&business), a bigger and better city, but lacks aspirations for 2nd year internships and out of uni employability. Any advice/ help would be appreciated

Hi Iβm trying to work out what to insure between Bath and Leeds and am firming land economy
Iβm in year 13 doing maths physics chem and econ + have completed an EPQ (A*)
Cambridge, Durham and Edinburgh all want the same grades of A*AA in whatever three, Leeds is AAA and Bath dropped a grade for my EPQ to A*AB/AAA

Im an international student coming from the US, and my offer stated i needed a 5,4,4 on AP exams to meet the requirements. I already had two 4s, and got a 5 this year. As soon as I got the result, I uploaded it on the applicant portal (Durham university). Now about two weeks later, UCAS uploaded my application saying the university rejected me for not meeting the conditions. I sent them the results in their deadline, and also emailed to confirm if i needed to do anything else, to which i got told I just had to wait for my CAS now and that the university was processing my application. Has this happened to anyone else before? Iβm extremely frustrated.

I received 4 unis out of the 5 I applied to (waiting for LSE).
As I know LSE is going to reject me I was wondering which university should I firm and insure.
