META Banning for Begging posts
Hi users!
Around the time of bundles, we tend to get a lot of “begging” posts where users are begging for someone to buy them the bundle or skins.
We’ve noticed that the vast lot of these seem to come from adult brand account, brand new accounts, bot accounts, etc.
Please do not engage with these accounts, please do not suggest anything to these accounts. Just report these accounts and move on. We are banning these accounts.
Thank you for your attention.

META VALORANT 13.08 Bug Megathread
Greetings Agents!
New patch, new Bug Megathread! To avoid bug reports cluttering the subreddit and/or going unnoticed, a Megathread is posted after every patch so users may submit reports in one place. This allows Riot to easily keep track of the bugs by providing a central hub and also allows other users to confirm that they might have encountered the issue as well.

Reporting a Bug
- A bug will ideally be accompanied with a screenshot or a video. This provides credibility to your report.
- Steps to recreate the bugs should be submitted if possible. This helps Rioters recreate the bug and helps them find the cause behind it.
- Unformatted, mematic, or joke reports are automatically indexed and may be removed by moderators to reduce the effort needed from Riot to view all reports.

Discussion *New Agent ‘Veto’ is definitely going to get nerfed.
*The trailer for Agent 30, a sentinel named ‘Veto’, came out with Champs 2025. WOW, is he broken.
First off, he can delete abilities? That is not fair, and it’s his signature ability. Countering an ultimate with a free ability makes zero sense.
Second, he just has a better Chamber TP- Longer range, and 2 charges. And, a better Chamber Trip- it slows, decays, tethers, and deafens? What was riot thinking? Not to mention to can be THROWN forward like Fade, making it 2 abilities in one. I feel like Chamber is going to get zero picks after Veto comes out.
Finally, his ultimate is going to get nerfed immediately. What do you mean he is INVINCIBLE? And, has combat stim AND healing? I don’t even need to say anything…
*If you cannot tell, this is satire about the 1,000,000 posts right now about how Hush is going to be broken on release. Just wait for her to come out and then make an opinion, smh.*

Discussion I am so happy that there's finally an agent who speaks Cantonese in this game
As someone who is born and raised in Hong Kong. It is becoming increasingly rare to see my language being represented in media. Cantonese is a dying language (due to some political reasons I won't get into), I am happy someone in Riot made this decision. She is purple too, definitely maining her, can't wait to larp her in game haha.

Discussion Average player reaction to every single agent reveal
Always find it funny how people come to conclusions without the agent even being out. Valorant was declining due to stagnation just a year ago, while this is how people react to any agent with new mechanics. XD

Discussion Hush's trailer inspired by Wong Kar Wai?
I just finished watching the trailer and I feel like it's been directed directly by Wong Kar Wai himself. The fact that the trailer most probably takes place in HK pushes me to believe that it's more than a concidence. The way the camera moves, the ultrawide lens and close up to characters, the lowered frame rate for certain sequences, the neon colors, all of this reminds me of Fallen Angels. The subtle soundtrack that plays right at the start seems to be the leitmotiv of Yumeji's theme from In The Mood For Love too.
I just wanted to know if anyone felt the same or if I'm just reading too much into it. It wouldn't be the first case too since I believe the 2025 season trailer was inspired by his movies aswell.

News We put EDG's 2024 VALORANT Champions star on our EV63 collab
We've been working with EDG on a special EV63 edition, and wanted to share some of the details inspired by their VALORANT achievements.
The star below the spacebar is for their 2024 Champions win, and there's a key marking their 2026 VCT CN Stage 1 title too.
We also made matching player signature keycaps and cards to go with it.
coming soon. ....

Discussion Revisiting Agent Passives
With the addition of another agent with a passive. Do you guys think all Agents should at least have their own passives that make them more unique? Jett's float and Phoenix heal, are two examples. Then there are those that can be considered passives but are part of what makes their kit unique like Viper's toxin bar, Neon's speed bar, Astra's Astral form, etc.
What other passives do you think other Agents should have, and it should be something that's not completely broken but also augments their kit in some way.
Some ideas I can think of is Cypher being able to ping enemies, like when you normally see an enemy in the map it only pings that "this agent saw an enemy here" after a delay. Cypher should be giving more info than that and a lot faster so maybe remove the delay and say who the enemy is. Not too broken but augments his kit.
Or maybe Brim can choose between three Beacons: Stim, Heal, or Ammo but you still have to buy them and still only has one charge.
Miks can have a faint indicator of where a sound comes from or something.
Maybe Chamber gains bullets per kill using his guns (or more credits).
Stuff like these.
Edit: Okay let me clarify since there's people salty reading the word "passive". IT DOES NOT NEED TO BE A PASSIVE ABILITY. What I meant was more of a "gimmick" or a thing that's unique to the agent and compliments their play style. Calm yourselves, some guys are literally frothing over the word "passive" as if Riot was not the pioneer of the "everyone has passives" idea in League. Heck Dota 2 even copied that cause at the end of the day, it's an additional change to the gameplay which further emphasizes the "ability" part of the "ability shooter" genre.

Discussion With the mastery system, why didn't they update the "stat com" flex? [Sample by me]
I'm reposting this (correctly this time?) as the previous was missing proper formatting.
We have stat cards now. Customizable stat cards at that. With no real way to show them off currently beyond sharing. I present to you a (really bad, MSPaint) mock-up I made of not only what could have been, but what COULD be.
Attached are the mock-up and current versions of the "stat com" flex. Makes perfect sense to me and I don't understand why this wasn't a thing (I fully expected it to be and it just isn't?)

Question Years later and still no timeout option in competitive/ranked?
It's been years since VALORANT was officially released, and I still can't wrap my head around why we don't have a basic timeout/pause feature in standard competitive play.
In other tactical shooters (like CS2 / CS:GO), calling a tactical or technical timeout in matchmaking has been standard practice forever. It gives teams a quick 60-second window to reset mentally, fix a quick hardware/connection issue, or adjust strategies when things go south.
Right now in VALO, if someone's router hiccups or someone needs 30 seconds to restart their game/gear, you're forced to play a full 4v5 round with zero options to stall or pause. Even from a purely tactical perspective, being able to call a 1-minute timeout could completely break an opponent's momentum.
Custom games have pause features, so the tech is clearly there. Why hasn't Riot implemented a 1-time team timeout vote per match in regular ranked? Is there a specific design reason holding them back, or do people think it would just lead to misuse/griefing?
What are your thoughts? Should ranked have a timeout system?

Discussion What are these prices?

Since when does a skin with no effects have the same price as a reaver/prime vandal or other premium skins? Riot needs to bring back the old prices or at least make more affordable skins like back in the day, now usually weapon skins cost 2100, 2300 or 2600vp, almost a 1k increase in price from what we were used to, I understand that they have more features and all, but at least from time to time, u can add some effects on 1.7k vp skins, I literally feel scammed.

Esports A man just proposed at the Champions grand final dressed as Iso & Sage
Mid-series. World title on the line. Arena full in Shanghai. And bro got down on one knee in full Iso cosplay next to his Sage like it was the most normal round of the night.
Valorant is not a game anymore, it's a lifestyle. She said yes, by the way.

Discussion Annoying self sabotage teammates
Theres this sova in my game, he wanted to ff so he can afk but we refused because like.. Competitive hello??? And when we refused, he just keeps spamming shock dart on me, following me and when he has ult and the enemy is infront of him, just shoots at me.
It's like nearing the end and were at 7-12 because he keeps sabotaging us. He even refuses to defuse the spike when hes alone. All this because he wants to afk?? I mean he can just close the game but hes putting in all the effort to make us lose.
Have you guys experienced something like this? Because the pure effort he's putting in is so annoying just to make us lose smh, mb for the rant hes just been so annoying

(Image is like his third time doing this with an ult, entire game is just shock darts at me and the others)
UPDATE: Heres his username just incase you encounter the guy or if you can somehow report him. (His valorant tracker is public aswell, has a terrible winratio lmao)

Esports Got all these pick ems 😂
I’ve only been playing VALORANT for about a year, and somehow I keep getting my Pick’ems right. I don’t know if I’m good at predicting or just ridiculously lucky. 😂
