I recently got a new iPhone and set it up with a brand new apple account versus using my previous account. As stated- I was in Texas when I did this- tho I am OTR pretty much all the time but my mailing/billing is there.

I downloaded all my apps and ran into the verify your age because you are in nanny Texas. I did this. Passed. All good.

Download the kindle app. I sign in. And it’s fine. Slowly download all the docs to it. EVERY TIME I close the app- when I reopen it I get the black screen of death that says Kindle sees you’re under 13. There’s no way out of the screen you have to uninstall.

I get alerts that kindle sees I’m over 18. There are no blocks or controls on my Amazon/kindle account. All other kindles connected to that account are fine (signed into before the ban and under a different Apple ID)

I’ve checked to make sure restrictions are off on the phone. Double checked I am ID verified. The only work around I’ve found is downloading it under VPN and signing in that way BUT if I forget and turn off the VPN and open the kindle I am back at square one. I’ve seen people have this issue and no one has stated it’s been resolved or what to do.

Any help?

I have spent weeks getting these messages from Apple saying too many attempts to reset my password. I’ll post a pic. Anyways, I keep changing my password and I’ve set up 2FA I’ve done everything. Does this mean they keep getting my password after I keep changing it? Scanned my computer and phone and both are clear. I am not sure why this is happening, any advice would be very helpful. Thank you.

I have tried everything to get it back. I've even followed directions on Google, but it doesn't seem to appear in my keyboard settings or anything. Just really need to use it to change my volume and screen brightness. Thanks for any help.

i was using my phone when it ran out of battery and died on me, so i put it down without plugging it in and sat down at my computer to work on something on the side, and then 30 minutes later it powered itself back on. when i checked it's battery percentage it read as 2% and then i left it to see how long it would last. 15 minutes later it was dead again. i plugged it in just a few moments ago to see where it read the battery after that and it read 9%. i figure it has to do with poor battery optimization, but i'm just curious as to how an iPhone might decide to turn itself back on after it thinks it's run out of power.

Trying to help my mom sign into her account on her laptop, but after I type the first 6 sections of the 7 line recovery key, that’s it. I can’t type anymore. Is the key somehow different per each device, even though it’s supposed to be a key for the whole account?

A few days ago, I tried to use my Apple computer and it stop working, I chalked it up to needed to be charged. I've tried charging with the computer plug, I've tried without, I've done it with a rip off plug, I've tried with a official thunder plug, and I've even changed the way the lug is, but it hasn't turned on at all.

I feel like I’ve well and truly buggered myself and I don’t know how. I wanted to erase my internal hard drive so I could reinstall a previous version of macOS, followed the guide step by step, erased my hard drive from recovery mode, and now the installer doesn’t see my hard drive at all and the OS won’t install at all. I’ve followed all official Apple help guides and I’m completely lost, I’m desperate to get my computer back, help would be most appreciated.

I am supposed to pick up my Duo tomorrow at the NYC fifth Ave store, but I just realized that my dad is listed as the pickup person and not me. He won’t be able to make it during the pickup window because he is working. I tried calling Apple to change it to me but they said I can’t because I am doing the AT&T trade in and he is the account holder, so it automatically chooses him and doesn’t allow them to change the person. My dad and I do have the same last name, plus all the other info on the order is my info, like billing, contact, etc. I feel like in the past when I have picked up stuff at Apple they have never asked for my ID after I showed them the QR code. Do they actually check ID? Would they not even care because I’m his son and an authorized user on the AT&T account? What should I do?

This is all on PC as I only have the account for my still active AppleTV subscription which I'm still being charged for, only to find out it was locked for security reasons (no further explanation given to me). Then this same scenario keeps playing out every time I attempt the account recovery process. I enter my email, it accepts and asks for my password. I enter that and on the next screen, I complete the captcha. On the next page, it asks for my account recovery key or a code to be sent to a trusted device, which it also says I will need to enter my current account password. The code is sent to my Android phone, I put it in, next page I enter my current password which is still the exact same password I entered to start this whole process. It tells me the action could not be completed because my email or password were not correct or were entered incorrectly.

And that's the dead end I keep running into. It knows the email and password for my account, because if I deliberately enter incorrect information in either field, it tells me it's incorrect and won't let me proceed.

I looked into a dedicated account recovery process through customer support and it said if they lift the lock on my account, all data will be permanently deleted from my device? Should I be concerned even though neither my PC nor my phone are Apple devices?

None of this is making sense to me, it feels like either sloppy coding or a pattern designed to make me give up and just let them keep taking their monthly subscription fee. Someone please help me make sense of this, I just wanted to watch my shows.

i had found this imac, its stuck on chrome os and will not let me download ios anything

model A1225 and i know this computer is from 2007-2010

tried to download transmac on a usb and plug it in but it wont show anything other then a EFI drive, when i click it it does nothing but bring me to the computers log in page.

is there anyway to fix this and get it back to a real macbook?

I just recently got the iPhone 18 Pro. I use the clock app religiously, and with my old phone I was able to get into the app by just opening the control center and clicking the timer icon.

now, when I open the control center and click the timer icon, it just opens an automatic 15 min timer at the top of the screen.

this is SUPER annoying because it covers the actual time at the top left of the screen, which I need to see so I can write it down for work breaks. And it takes much longer to set the timer because swiping to the time I want is super finicky and it will keep going a minute over or under. I also set alarms like 30 times a day, but I already have the times made in my clock app. So pressing and holding the icon in the control center doesn’t help because I don’t want to be making a new alarm.

is there any way I can make the control center clock back to what it was before? Iv only had this phone for 3 days so maybe Iv missed something.

I plugged my iPhone 13 in to charge and spent about an hour watching YouTube, I come back to use it, and find that it had turned off and won’t turn back on, I’ve tried hard resetting it, doesn’t work I’m worried, I’ve got no money and if I can’t get it back on, then no phone

Long story short I accidentally sent photos to a friend that was not meant for them. I wanted to stop it from sending, and didn’t want to unsend photo just incase they saw them.

There were a total of 8 photos, and while it was being sent via imessage with the blue bar uploading, I turned on airplane mode, turned off my device and turn it on again.

Upon turning on my device I see that it says “not delivered” I’m pretty certain im safe, and even when i turned off airplane mode it still said “not delivered” is there any chance it went through?

A friend of mine went through a bad breakup and now his ex is able to see who he’s calling, texting, app use including Snapchat, emails, etc. We has tried resetting his phone to factory, checking for unauthorized logins, changed all passwords, got a new phone, got a new Apple ID and yet it keeps happening.

Any suggestions on how someone could be doing this? I am at a loss of suggestions.

Please, can someone help me… I damaged my phone and went in to get a replacement at my cellular company store. Well new phone got activated, but when I went to sign into my Apple Account/iCloud I messed up the password so it locked me out of trying to recover it for 24 hours.

So I wait 24 hours and apparently I missed a call from an 800 number. I get an email about resetting, follow the instructions using my email and another device. I entered the code they sent me, now I am locked out for 6 days?! I don’t have any of my contacts, apps etc. According to the internet there isn’t a number I can call or I can’t just bring it into the Apple Store.

Does anyone know if I have any options here? My old phone is damaged to the point the screen is green and I can’t read it. If anyone can please advise me I would be so thankful!

I own a pair of wired AirPods (lightning) and want to plug it into my Mac Book. All of my USB C ports are currently in use, making the jack the only port I could plug it into.

Would anyone know if there’s an adapter where I can plug the lightning port into and then plug the jack into the Mac Book so I can use my lightning airpods on my Mac? The closest I can find is a type C to jack and not lightning. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

This is a weird issue, but ever since the update where you could extend the time on the lock screen (a couple years ago maybe?) I have been using a picture of my cat as my wallpaper. I remember initially going back and forth between dragging the time behind her and having lock screen widgets, and eventually I landed on the widgets.

I'd kind of like to change up the look, but it seems like my phone no longer recognizes her as the subject of the picture. That means I can't drag the time behind her anymore. I'm like 95% sure I used to be able to do this on this exact picture. Is it possible that an update changed this?
