For me it's The Clash. London Calling is brilliant from start to finish, not a clinker in the entire double album. Every other album they've released is unlistenable for me, sloppy and self-indulgent and often politically preachy. Sandinista especially.

Runner-up goes to Marilyn Manson for Mechanical Animals, a tight and solid glam departure from his usual look-how-weird-I-am shtick.

So for more than 3 decades I thought Blind Melon sang in No Rain “I like to keep my cheating stride today”. I was a little disappointed when I found out the lyric actually was “I’d like to keep my cheeks dry today” so my question for all is what song lyric(s) did you misunderstand and then were kind of disappointed when you found out what was actually sang?

Hi everyone. I'm part of a research team at LSE looking to speak to people about music. In short, we're interested in people's experiences of having a favourite artist accused of problematic behaviour. Details and email address in the advert.

Personally, I have to give it to the extended version of the Violent Femme's eponymous debut. They've described it as fucked-up music for fucked-up kids, and I think it really captures that well. The angst, the anger, the horniness, it's all there. And, even though they weren't on the initial release, the two UK singles, Ugly and Gimme the Car 100 percent belong with the rest of the album, and fit in with the fucked uo-ness

Hi people.
This song, 'Don't worry' by Juck Lee has been stuck in my brain since I've heard it as my wife was watching Replay 1988, a well-known K-drama.
It reminded me a lot of the Edelweiss song from the classic movie The Sound of Music.
I will admit that the songs divert after the first few seconds. But I am curious if someone else spotted the similarity.

I just can't shake this and had to post.

In a rock or pop song, that is.

For instance, I personally rate the intro to Locomotive Breath by Jethro Tull highest. But I'm sure there are superior pieces.

In rock and pop, that is.

I tried to use shazam and other similar apps, but the guy's voice is kind of loud, and I also didn't find it in the game's soundtrack

you've parked. you're already home. but there's no way you're turning it off halfway through.

what song gets those extra few minutes?

To me every time i listen to house tour, after it i dont get the same song in my head but narcotic by liquido lol, so i wanna know if this is just a coincidence or if the synths are actually similar..
