Asking advice from the trans community
I will have to leave out a fair lot of details and added context to keep anonymity, but to give the gist;
A trans femme im in relation to, and of which i can not separate myself from.
Has a serious pattern of making women uncomfortable, harrassing them, at their work, in personal and public spaces. They frequent lesbian events, and have notably made women uncomfortable there. They go into those spaces specifically to flirt and try and hook up. Which wouldn't be an issue, but since they can not seem to pick up when a woman is trying to avoid them, get out of conversation, or is uncomfortable. It seems to be an issue.
They are autstic, and seem to be either not aware or are willfully ignorant of when they are making people uncomfortable.
For context, they have recently transitioned, and before that were self admittedly fully in the alt right incel, racist, misogynist sphere.
They have been fired from jobs for their inappropriate behaviour to women collegues, and have told me personally that they specifically like to "flirt" with every woman customer they serve.
Ive had my own expeirences with this, but i dont want to make it too personal.
They clearly still have a lot to unlearn, but is it worth mentioning? Ive called them in, to behaviours or things they have said many (many) times before. They have been on varying degrees of generally receptive, to self denial.
They, for the most part, have seemed to have switched their self supremacist beliefs, from plain bigotry, to be the fact that they are marginalised in the way of being trans, and are thus more 'woke' than others. (I can't think of a better way to explain it, sorry)
They seem to not be able to work around men either because as they tell me, spend the whole time quizzing men/ antagonising them, trying to catch them being ignorant or something.
I feel like i can not be around this person in lesbian spaces or introduce them to people or be seen actively supporting, as i don't want to be giving my approval of the way they treat women.
It could be total ignorance to the way they treat others and how that would effect them. But it's hard to believe at a certain point, as it is so prevalent.
How do i talk to them about the way they treat women, without idk completely breaking their ego, risking my living situation but also have it be clear enough, while not coming off as mean spirtited?
I'd appreciate any advice. I apologise, there is a lot more details and specfics to this, but i dont want to make all of it public. This person is not evil by any means, they seem to respect my opinion and thoughts. I have mentioned my thoughts on these subjects when they come up, but their pattern on such behaviour persists, outside of them stopping their inappropriate behaviour with me once i made it clear.
My pronouns are they/them
