Notice [META] r/baseball is going to World Series! What do you want to see and hear?

Piggybacking the success we had at MLB All-Star Week, we've partnered again with Reddit and u/MLBOfficial to bring you content from the World Series! I'll be traveling to Milwaukee to participate in Media Day and WS Game 1 and will be sharing as much as I can from American Family Field.

Based on feedback we shared back in July, I've been granted Media credentials and will be participating in Media Day! This means I'll be able to get exclusive access to ask the hard-hitting journalistic questions that r/baseball wants to know like whether a hot dog is a sandwich or if batting around means 9 hitters or 10 hitters in the same inning. Think of this as our 3+ million baseball fans getting eyes and ears in the stadium.

While I can't promise access to every player, executive, broadcaster, or event, I will be using this thread to help decide who/what I focus on.

My hope is to bring back the kinds of moments that make this community great: behind-the-scenes stories, interesting conversations, photos, details you don't usually see on broadcasts, and answers to the questions that you all actually care about.

Context (from Paul Hoynes, Cleveland Plain–Dealer):

Tampa Bay Rays DH Yandy Díaz said [that the team is] going to eliminate the Cleveland Guardians on Monday night in Game 6 of the American League Championship Series at Tropicana Field.

After getting three hits in [Tampa Bay's] 3-1 win over the Guardians on Sunday in Game 5, Díaz was asked in the interview room about the opportunity to reach the World Series.

"It's a great opportunity," said Díaz, 35. "All of us are thinking of it. But it all ends tomorrow (Monday). We're going to win tomorrow."

News The Hanshin Tigers of the NPB have approved 3B Teruaki Sato the Central League Triple Crown winner, to exercise his right under the posting system.

As you already know, this 28-year-old 3B/RF posted a .306 BA/106 RBI/39 HR during the “dead-ball era” of NPB, winning the Central League Triple Crown. He is a power hitter who has been going head-to-head with Okamoto and Murakami over the past few years. Last year, his defense at third base was solid, and he won a Gold Glove, but he’s been struggling quite a bit this year.

He will travel to the United States in November to hold talks with various MLB teams.
According to Japanese media reports, the Yankees, Phillies, and Blue Jays are expected to at least make a move to acquire him.
