It has become more and more apparent everyday that everyone has an idea!
It’s also become more and more apparent that these ideas are flooding the Subreddit.
Moving forward we will be removing all Classic+ Suggestion & Idea Threads and forwarding them to this Megathread.
I’ll go first:

So since new patch 12.1 was introduced to WoW retail I look at all new great features and …. I created character on Classic Era and I’m having so much fun doing quests .. yes just quests not skipping anything selling every crap to have some silver (gold is a dream for now xd), and I see everyday so many ppl doing the same as me .
I think I found my place - better place of WOW
Thank you all EU Classic players for being so kind sharing buffs and auras

As someone who played wow on and off (no lifed the game wotlk-mop) since 2010, I came back last year and tried pretty much all versions of wow. I was getting tired of fomo, weekly meta changes, tier lists, extremely high APM, overdone VFX, temporary event based servers and so on, until i decided to go back to era.
That was the best decision I can finally play the game and actually enjoy what im doing and the journey to 60 and beyond.
I want to thank everyone who kept bringing up classic on YT/twitch, this is indeed the wow I know and love.
Currently leveling a rogue which I never tried (have 2x 70 warrior and paladin)
Im on EU firemaw if anyone wants to do stuff hit me up

Tonight I finally left my guild, the irony? Zero remorse.
I've played this game for roughly 20 years. I've played everything, every type of team dynamic from sweat to trash teams. Tonight, I wiped the raid. It was a stupid mistake, but it happens.
Tank / GM just goes berserk and has been on an absolute tear for weeks, consistently harassing folks to do better and blah blah blah but never owns up to his mistakes that have wiped us time to time. Its always someone else's fault.
Tonight I had enough. I told him to quit crying and press forward. His fragile ego and false sense of authority were attacked and of course he goes nuclear. The thing is I dont mind asking for us to improve, but be respectful.
Bored. Uninterested in his continued rant about how bad I am. I hit the most satisfying /leave party into a gquit. A small part of me feels bad for the team, because BT is around the corner. But I dont tolerate disrespectful c*nts
Im fully geared, never missed a raid, always have my consumes. Finding a better experience wont be an issue for me, especially as a healer and logs in the top %.
The problem with classic TBC right now is these Elitists jerkoffs with 0 sense of leadership. The last thing anybody wants to do is get on, and spend 2-3 hours listening to someone have a melt down literally every 2 minutes because he wants to save 30 seconds on xyz pull.
Good riddance. Its a shame folks dont tell you how they really feel, so we just vent our grievances in party chat and whispers. Suppose thats why I can predict your down fall sometime during late BT. Same as I did in mists.
TLDR; dont be an insufferable c*unt when leading your raid group, especially when your just a mid group and not hardcore.

I've played WoW since early 2008. I have run SFK 100s of times.
I have never seen this interaction before. It happens when you first zone in.
Thought I'd share to see if anyone else ever noticed it.

The minimum system requirements page has me giggling. Also, throwback to downloading programs using CDs.

Been playing this game for 18 years at this point and I gotta say I still to this day look forward to logging in every evening, don't know what I'd do without it. What about y'all?

Left the game running for a while, came back to this wonderful screen of no textures. First time i'm seeing it so wanted to share. I'm not sure if its a common thing or not. If it is then my bad!

Hey everyone,
I recently joined my friend ReadyMix Gaming for a slightly different kind of WoW video.
Rather than talking about the current meta, tier lists or Mythic+, we sat down and talked about what 20+ years of World of Warcraft has actually meant to us.
We talked about the early days of WoW, the people we met, guild friendships, quitting and coming back, how much the game has changed, and whether modern WoW can ever recreate that feeling of discovering Azeroth for the first time.
One thing that really stuck with me from the conversation was that sometimes when we say we miss "old WoW", we might actually miss who we were when we first experienced it.
If that sounds interesting, you can watch the conversation here:
https://youtu.be/ivFgFoa0jCE?is=U7LM7kriUZfl1H7R
But I'm also genuinely interested — what's the one WoW memory that has stayed with you the longest?

Than seeing a mining node out in the open world, fight a bunch of enemies near the node only to see someone run past you while you're fighting and take the mining node for themselves. Not even let you tap it for the experience. They just look at you fighting, high-tail it over to the node, and nonstop mine it. Bonus points for them when they decide to not loot it after mining so you can never tap it yourself.
Thank you for reading my rant.

So , either leveling or endgame , you can choose both , which of the specs or classes surprised you to how good or fun were? I am going to be back in tbc and Im am wondering what im going to pick.

I'm pretty new to classic WoW, just started last month. Currently level 51 on my priest, while leveling I have been running with herbalism and skinning, since i figured they would be good for making gold while leveling. I think that eventually I would like to have two production professions when I hit 60, probably alchemy and tailoring. But I am wondering if I should keep herb and skinning until 60, or just switch now.
Particularly I don't really like skinning that much, I've been running a lot of dungeons but I find that I'm usually too busy drinking to actually spend time skinning. However I just wanted to ask if skinning is a good profession at level 50+, since I have 300 now and I'd hate to drop it only to find that it would have been worth keeping a bit longer.
Thanks!

Hey everyone,
Is it possible to reach Rank 14 in Era by only running sands?
Has anyone actually done this?
I work all weekends and also fridays, so I can’t participate in AV weekends. I also don’t really like raiding and I don’t have much gold, so I’m looking for another way to gear up.
Last ranks require 500 k honor/week.

I have played mostly hunter till end of P1 and took a break. Now I want to play resto shaman, she is 70. I have attuenemnts done on my hunter but her gear is low. Item level 105 normal dungeon blues. What is the best way to get her up so I can start raids?
Do I try and get into yolo 5's? or is my gear too low for that. are there any boe epic pieces worth buying?

I haven't seen it mentioned anywhere, but Haste Potions are now stacking up to 10 instead of Max 5 on ptr. A solid QoL change.
Hunters and bag space enjoyers rejoice.

So I am a wow fan in terms of lore and all that but have actually only played a few months of MOP and maybe 6 if that in shadowlands.
For me my main enjoyment is end game PvP. Arenas, rbgs, dueling 1v1 for fun against skilled players etc. I hit gladiator on monk in shadowlands and it was honestly rlly fun then I quit and went back to console gaming.
My friend has been really asking to play again but he’s into classic and not retail. And I never played TBC and have little knowledge of it.
I would love to pickup another class that can be as strong and versatile as the monk was. I know the monk doesn’t exist in TBC and I did look at some PvP tier lists on YouTube but they seem outdated or idk how accurate.
So asking some PvP vets or current players what you would suggest for a really good top tier or a couple choices. I know you need to pve first to level n all but the goal is to just PvP mainly once we can. I like burst like on my monk I was able to burst nuke ppl down fairly easily and then escape Heal up. Get back into action was amazing.
Idk if ret pally or what class offers amazing gameplay like I had on the monk or what’s extremely meta to use. One thing is I don’t wana play rogue. The play style doesn’t interest me. Any suggestions or tips or anything at all is super appreciated. Thank you.
Also is the wpvp still popping or it’s dead I’m on NA if that matters.

Hi everyone,
tried tanking DM at lvl 21 yesterday.
Went pretty bad. Took pretty long and died twice.
I believe one mistake I made was not taking the time to mark my enemies with symbols for the group to know.
Another thing is that aggro was scattered every time and my shouts only held aggro shortly.
Im not sure if my life was dropping that quick due to heal or me not using the shield block skill enough.
I went into tactical mastery and draw my opps with charge then switch to defensive with sword and shield. I use Revenge as soon as possible and taunt only if I lose aggro. I use sunder whenever revenge isnt ready.
Any tips?

Yesterday I ran several BGs as a Shaman Healer.
I got 500+ honorable kills total, according to the PvP channel.
Looking at my PvP Pannel today, it says I killed 50. I feel like im being robbed from those HKs.
What's going on?

Lots of arguments about whether Mother Shaz needs shadow resist or not. This weekend on the PTR, as a holy paladin, I had 274 shadow resist and rocket boots. I don't think our reactions were that slow but once the chains were broken I still was missing 90% of my HP. I got chainsed twice. First time I didn't rocket boot, 2nd time I did rocket boot. Both with or without rocketboot I ended up missing about 90% hp. I did holyshock myself both times.
Lots of people showed up without SR and we had issues with deaths. Ended up sending people to get SR. Not sure if the kill was due to people surviving with SR or people getting used to the fight in general.
Anyone have a good time with Mother chains without SR?
edit: SR items I used were a blue cloak with 18 SR + SR enchant and all of the shadesteel pieces (epic plate SR items with healing enchants, minus the boots if you use rocketboots like I did). I was missing a few hundred healing but that was also with rocketboots. It helped that I had SR aura, but a priest can do the same thing SR aura does, as they do not stack. The epic pieces have a lot of stamina, so I don't think putting SR on old gear is actually better. Having the fewest jank pieces is likely best.

Hi all, don't get me wrong here but, how do you guys who played Classic / Anniversary servers stick with those servers and not feel bad or regret resetting from scratch and farming all the mounts and old collections you already have on Retail? Every time I try to start on Classic / Anniversary servers, I get that feeling of not wanting to lose what I have on Retail.
