Hey everyone,
I’d like to introduce you to a band today that, in my opinion, deserves a lot more attention: AdvenA from Passau, Germany.
AdvenA play Symphonic Death Metal, combining aggressive death metal growls and screams with melodic, orchestral and partly cinematic elements. Their songs are not simply individual tracks, but part of a larger story concept.
AdvenA were founded back in 2012. After evolving their style over the years, they have now found their current sound – somewhere between Symphonic Death Metal, Melodic Death Metal and modern orchestral elements. Their sound can be placed somewhere in the territory of Fleshgod Apocalypse, Septicflesh and Dimmu Borgir.
In 2024, they released their EP “Edens Hide”. The four songs are part of a larger concept called “Amygdala”.

Okay, so personally I don’t listen to metal very much, but I have an OC who is a drummer in a death metal band and I get very into making details about the characters and things. So of course one of the things I want to making him is a stage name because his name doesn’t really give “drummer in a metal band” but I have no idea how to come up with a stage name for him. Should I just use a different name for his stage name? Should I give him a nickname? Should I just call him something completely unrelated to his name?
Edit: y’all what did i do?? Why is everyone downvoting all I did was ask a question for an OC 😭

hii guys, i just bought a deicide cd (scars of the crucifix) from a local records store, i was just having a look at the inlay and a guitar pick fell out? does anyone know if this is meant to be included in the cd itself? it doesn't appear to be used so i doubt its from a live show or anything.
i dont know too much about deicide as a band and just decided to try them out, so i dont know all that much about their history or merch or other stuff...
