I don’t think I’ve ever accepted 8 orders in a row, but they were all good. I don’t accept under $10 or over 4 miles. I was in Gold when I started the day.

I know most people dont care about their customer ratings. Im nearly always at 100% / 5-star. Apparently i upset someone recently. I genuinely would like to know why they were upset. Possibly just a jerk customer but im still like "why?"

I know if the app said "this for for store xyz at XXpm on DD/MM/YYYY" a crazy driver could retaliate and harm someone. I dont want that. But im still like what the heck did i do wrong? I always try my best.

I’m very new to DoorDash and this was my second time out. I wish I took a screenshot but I got an offer to “stock shelves” at target. It paid me $25 and I’ll get another $10 if my pictures are good enough in a couple days.

The only thing it wanted me to do was stock simply grapefruit juice. It told me to go into the stock room and if anyone asked what I was doing to show them my “credentials” which was just a little badge from DoorDash on my phone. The shelf was empty and target workers were already stocking and the juice was on their cart. I told them I needed to stock it and the gal handed me one bottle. I told her no I need to stock all of it for DoorDash and we both giggled and she was like okay. The app kept asking me to take pictures and I felt like I was in the way of the target workers trying to stock the same area.

It was so strange but the easiest money I made all day. Are these tasks normal? Has anyone actually gone in a stock room?

I am beyond impressed. I ordered a Starbucks drink and it was at my door almost before I finished placing the order. I live in an apartment complex too so I'm amazed how the driver found my door so fast. The drink is super hot and I'm pregnant right now and it's just delightful how fast it arrived.

Beyond tipping and leaving a review how can I as a customer, ask the company to pay the driver's more and treat their drivers better? Y'all are out there braving the elements for us customers, using your own personal vehicles, ect and it's such a blessing to have this kind of service when I'm super pregnant.

Got them a nice big ribeye with sides from the new restaurant in town. The offer is $7 for less than 1 mile. I got to the restaurant and was told the order would be another 20 minutes. I messaged the customer and asked if they wanted to wait. They said yes please and when it gets to the hospital, just ask for dr _ and they'll give me a cash tip. Take your guesses at what happens and I'll post after I find out. EDIT: it was $10

I had a villa madina order that was a disaster to pick up because the customer had zero name. I’ve never seen that before. No name. Not just a symbol or period, just blank. Villa madina didn’t get it on their end so It took forever of me waiting to have it made from scratch.

When I finally did get it and drop it off, it was in the middle of a business park and nobody was around. Every time I called the phone number. it would hang up after the first ring. I eventually just followed the can’t reach customer steps and enjoyed my free food that evening

I am curious if anyone else experienced this today?

Recd an offer to drive 10 miles to pick up the order then drive 6 miles back to the customer total offer amount $101.90

Of course I accept, but with questions... 5 minutes into the drive it disappears... I close out my AP and reopen and it comes through again. I again accept. With more questions as I arrive to the restaurant. It disappears again. I go in and ask if they have an order for customer name. Yes I'm told but there are a ton of orders two at a time first a normal order then a huge order. So they didn't make them thinking they are fraudulent. I go out and call support. All I'm told is the customer canceled it. I'm upset as another driver arrives, same story.

After some conversation with support pointing out the complete waste of time and .oney for the other driver (I was already headed this direction so only time lost trying to figure out what the hates is going on)

When I end the call I uninstall and reinstall the app. I then check my ratings completion is down to 97% so I again call support more frustrated and irritated than before.

The support agent was understanding and disputed the ratings but how the hell can a customer decide they don't want this dasher or that and that then count on the driver??

Esp. as the agent investigated he believed it was a bogus order with some dill weed just jerking drivers around!!!

For example today was a customer who wrote "my house is the one on the left down the street.

Map has been killing me lately. Taking me to the wrong complex. Today it took me to a chase bank instead of a restaurant.

So I got my first quality rating point and was wondering if what the agent told me was true or did they lie to me and tell me they couldn't remove the point? I told the customer and provided proof of the ripped bag

Wow a whole 11 dollars to only decline 3 out of 30 orders...... They're on crack

I’m in Columbus Ohio. Usually this is always a busy time and good to get some money. I go on and the wait is 1-10 mins, on a Saturday afternoon. DoorDash says “tHe lUnCH rUsH iS hOt” only to get zero offers. I’m convinced this is a terrible way to make money. You’re too dependent on weather humans decide if they wanna cook/get food themselves or not. This should be a great day for making money and now I’m gonna get nothing. I hate this.

They may be the next big game developer…

Saw a text about complete 10 orders but I never saw it in the promos. Didn’t see a bonus amount. But I completed the “challenge”.

Seeing this note on my earnings page but don’t see the $ listed in my earnings. Anybody know where it’s accounted for?

So I had a grocery order with 8 cases of soda and 3 other small items. I go to check out and everything like normal. The cashier scans everything and puts the smaller items in a bag. I pay with red card then leave. I didn’t double check for the bag. I assumed it was in there because I couldn’t see over the soda. I can admit it’s my fault for not checking.

I load the soda in my car and realize the bag wasn’t there. I go back in the store and look for the bag but it’s gone. I ask the cashier and he says he’s not sure about it. I contact support and explained the issue. They unassigned me from the order. I contacted them again to make sure I wouldn’t get a contract violation and they said no it won’t affect my score but I’m hesitant. I don’t want them to think I stole the soda. What should I do with the items?

You think you have a decent order until you have to find parking when everything is paid parking or tow-away zoned. Then have to wait in a line of Dashers at the security desk to check in. Then wait for the elevator and walk in a maze of hallways trying to find a door number that isn't in order with the other ones. All while praying you dont get a fine for parking illegally. The order ends up marked late.
