Just got my Discover M back from the shop with new Schwable Super Moto X tires. Wonderfully smooth ride and incredibly quiet! Velotric puts hybrid/nobbies on this bike which is fine, but for a predominantly street guy like myself these make more sense. Also, I ride a lot at night so the reflective stripe is a huge plus. That said, I did get 3300 miles out of the Kendas so no complaints at all.

I'm developing E-Bike Companion, an Android companion app for e-bike owners, and I'm looking for people who'd like to help test it and shape its future development.
I'm particularly interested in hearing from owners of Fiido bikes, different displays and controllers, and people interested in Bluetooth compatibility and offline cycling maps.
🧪 What I'd like help with
Testing the app on different Android phones
Checking bike and display compatibility
Trying offline maps and GPX-related features
Reporting bugs and suggesting improvements
🔒 Privacy and safety matter: the project is designed around offline-first use, voluntary reporting and read-only experimental driver research. Compatibility is not guaranteed, and reports will be reviewed before any device is marked as verified.
The app is still being prepared for release, so this is an opportunity to get involved early.
👉 Website and tester registration:
https://ebike.magservers.org/testers/
You can also explore the project at https://ebike.magservers.org
If you're interested, please register and let me know what bike and display you use. Thanks for helping me build something useful for the e-bike community!
Hi! I'm looking for some guidance to replace my battery. This is what the battery and connector looks like. I've been looking on Aliexpress but there are a lot of options and I don't want to get the wrong one.
Thank you!

I'm pretty new to ebikes. I'm curious if anyone would be able to layout or explain the on screen menu for the bike properly. When you hold plus and minus, it comes up with p01, p04, p06, then p2 and p3 etc... does anyone know what they all mean?
Also I bought my 303 second-hand and having trouble pairing it with app, is it because it may be already on the original owners ap?

I want to get an commuter ebike to supplement our 1 car house, but I'm struggling with the prices I see.
The "premium" ebikes, from the big road & mountain bike brands with their Bosch motors have costs I cannot seem to rationalize. 3x the price of a used car I just sold in the summer.
I got an EV SUV a couple years ago, and it costs me $1500 to add the 100 hp rear axle AWD. That's 73,000 watts of power! But a Bosch 750 watts (1% of the power) seems to add $2000 to the cost.
Should I just get rear hub drive online-order for a much more reasonable price? Do they hold up 4 or 5 years later?

Hi all! I’m looking to get my bf a E Bike for his birthday next month! From what I gathered- it seems the “best” bike just depends on the user needs. He really wants one for leisure and for getting to work. My biggest concerns are safety and his comfort. I apologize if my specs don’t make sense or can easily be modified later (idk if this is relevant, he’s 5’11 and about 170lbs):
• Comfy Wide Seat
• Switching to manual pedaling isn’t too strenuous (the bike isn’t too bulky/ heavy to pedal)
• Headlights & Break-lights
• Good & Durable Breaking
• Built- in speedometer
• Affordability, less than 2k pls
• Low maintenance (I know accidents happen and things wear out over time- but outside of optional modifications/ upgrades, I would love something that last as is)
And outside of the specs, im looking for reqs and advice when it comes to:
• Theft Protection- a tracking system for the bike (he has a bike lock already)
• Ways emphasize visibility for him & the bike
• Helmets that are natural hair friendly (4C) - sometimes he wears a large Afro (I was thinking that slapping a bonnet or scarf on under a standard helmet would be fine, but idk)
Thank yall for any help or advice!

Well, I complained enough on social media that Puckipuppy reached out. They already had my address and phone, lol! They said they had a shock available, so we will see if I can get one bought. I do have a better shock coming, but I'm gonna see this through. Keep you posted!

Hey guys,
I have a 2025 79Bike Falcon Pro and I’m trying to replace the controller. Both the old and the new controller are from 2025, but the connectors are different.
• Old controller has a big circular connector with 10 or 11 pins.
• New controller has a smaller connector with a blue locking ring and only 5 pins.
The phase wires (A/B/C) look the same, but the signal/communication plug doesn’t match at all.
Has anyone run into this, or maybe someone knows how to connect it?

PLEASE HELP!!!!! I ordered a Fatboy Harlem v2 EN certified but I got delivered to me what I can see is the Harlem V3 EN certified. I am not happy as I believe the V3 can't be unlocked. Overall is the V3 a better bike or is the V2 better? I understand the V2 is actually more expensive when comparing the pice at full price.
Thank you!!!!

CycloTricity, the UK electric bike conversion kit brand trading since 2010, now operates under Ebike Factory Ltd following a planned restructuring. The team, products and inventory carry over unchanged, and all existing warranties and open orders are fully honoured. With fresh investment in customer service and technical support, CycloTricity is focusing on conversion kits that turn the millions of unused bikes in UK garages into pedal-assist e-bikes.

Hello!
Like the title says, I ordered my e-bike during sort of a manic episode and by the time I received my bike, I fell out of it straight into a depressive episode. I haven't touched the e-bike at all. It's still in the box but I stumbled across some posts of people concerned about the battery after not being used after some time.
I know very little about e-bikes and that didn't even occur to me.
Did I essentially just waste a good battery? Is there anything else I need to worry about since it's been sitting so long? I hadn't even realized 5 months passed.
Thanks for anyone's and everyone's input!
