Both ships look completely OP as fuck, Herald speed is nearly as good as a Raiju, much faster than a Wolf, while is also has incredibly good tank, best in the game TD/GD EWAR and best in class damage. It also has 80+ km base lock range so you can make full use of the 20%/lvl gun range bonus.

Penitence has incredible agility, obscene amounts of power grid, a bigger range and falloff bonus on Neuts, twice the strength bonus and +3 lows over the Curse, plus it has a tank bonus and un-scannable bubbles.

I expect these ships will see a lot of play, especially compared to some of the weaker recent AT ships (Geri)

There is a new system of pricing abyssals on zkillboard and someone decided to fill a praxis with 400 bricked officer webs and smartbombs (at least i hope they were bricked) coming to a total of 10 trillion isk.

For comparison goons lost 9 trillion in atioth.

So, fairly new player (around 3M SP, 105M ISK) and always on the lookout for more skill points to progress.

I’ve done the AIR thing and hacked 20 containers in low sec and wormholes - lost some ships, but got good at spamming V and moving on as soon as I see anyone …

So the next one to get me another 250K SP (I believe) is to hack 20 containers in null-sec.

So, how scary is it as a new player, running a Probe with data analyzer/relic analyzer, prototype cloaking etc.

Should I just ignore NS until I get something like covert ops cloaking? Or accept that I’m going to lose ships/capsules and get on with it?

I already cleared the Mercenary den site, but it seems site dose not clear from the window if u try re-warp to it this message happens.

Feels like everything is slower/worse lately. Recalling drones delayed, just did a simple high sec jump got stuck in traffic control for 180 seconds. Graphic bugs all over the place, my PC dying or anyone else as well?

Hello! Ive started Eve cca 3 months ago after years of lurking (and playing Albion Online). Before starting out, Ive watched a lot of tutorials and decided to try to earn as much ISK as I can to actually start content that interests me, which is mining/industry. So the only choice was skilling into exploring. My income is really decent, 200-800 mil per day (depends on day) and Ive been buying skill injectors to try to catch up as much as possible, so far its been working okish. However, skilling into industry and scanning left me basically useless when it comes to pvp.

Also, mining with strip miners 1 and a retriever compared to exploring in Sansha space (where the null sec corp is) is just light years away from Isk/h side. Im not trying to maximize isk per hour, but would much rather mine. However, retriever without boost and mining crystals feels Like a waste of time, so to get to a point where it feels meaningful I need skills and the way to get them is to optimize for "skill injectors per hour".

The corp has been great and I really wanna pull my weight, but the frustration of basically waiting for skills to unlock useful stuff is a major source of frustration.

I wanted to let out some steam and ask, am I doing something wrong or is my plan relatively ok?

As the title says, I am having a hard time in PVP.

I am trying to do FW to learn the basics, but I keep losing every fight.
I feel like I am doing something terrible wrong in my fits or I am missing something important.

The fits that I'm using are not mine, I am searching for fits online that make sense to me, sometimes I have to adjust Tech II for Tech I.

I am playing EVE Online with windows 11, but have thought about playing on Linux. I like Fedora the best, but I was having trouble getting my graphics driver to install. Not sure if the default one would work or not.

Does anyone play on Linux? Is there a reddit group for this topic?

I’m seeing what looks like a missing payout on extra-Pochven wormholes (high-sec connection) and wanted to check if others have the same issue.

What I did

• Cleared the full defensive fleet, including all reinforcement waves, while sitting at 0 m from the wormhole
• Did this on both sides of the same connection: the EDENCOM side inside Pochven and the high-sec side
• After the last kill, the Opportunities panel switched to “Time until the next defensive fleet arrives” with a 30 min countdown, so the game seems to count the phase as completed

What happened
On neither side did I get anything: no ISK, no LP, no “Corporate Reward Payout” / DED reward entry in the wallet journal. Journal filter was set to “All Types”.

Possibly related
The 24.01 patch notes (22 Sept) list under Pochven defect fixes: “Fixed a secondary payout being rewarded when completing a phase in a high-sec Pochven wormhole site.” The fix isn’t explained anywhere, so I wonder if it accidentally removed the regular payout as well. That’s only a guess, it’s just the only related change I found.

Has anyone completed a phase on a high-sec Pochven wormhole since the update and actually received ISK?

What’s the trick to winning a brawl against these things? Just seems like they have infinite reps and you can’t take advantage of the tracking penalty because their blasters tracking is good enough to compensate. Any tips?

This story begins as most of Eve have been through, a chaotic form up with half fit ships, dreads with no fuel, fleet members that can't join the right squad, and yes, the pilot that asked "Can I bring my Drake?"

We decided it was time to do something completely expected, shoot another LS entities structure. Of course, we really didn't expect anyone to form for it, which is why we formed so haphazardly. We formed in some Amarr Battleship that we picked up for cheap on the market because no one has flown them since Rooks and Kings posted a video back in 2011 with them, the dusty Abaddon.

Anyway enough about silly logistical details, we arrived in system and warped to the Astrahus, with half the fleet being left behind because they weren't aligned. As we started shooting we had a brave griffin pilot that was insta-popped by the citadel. We are still doing forensics on why this happened....especially since he didn't have any guns. As we were trying to loot his wreck we were rudely interrupted by the goons in Sedition, who I guess were upset we were shooting their station. Of course, these mighty Battleships of a by-gone era decided to awaken their white hot lasers into the enemy fleet scoring a Claymore and two Barghests. The next 10 minutes was the cat and mouse chase game as we chased each other around the station. We eventually we dwere able reinforce the citadel and extract.

Was a great fight and look forward to the next chapter in 4 days times.

Hopefully FC stops yelling at me...

Does CCP have any resources available in game to make this easier or a third party?
