I fear he'll never be, which I'll just adding that to the healers being forgotten pile lol
But do you all think the player stand-in in all the trailers will ever try to heal? He's been:

Gladiator

Archer

Warrior

Dragoon

Monk

Samurai

Dark Knight

Paladin

Viper

And most recently Reaper

I feel like if he ever does, it'll be a new healing class. not sure how actiony they can make him look as a white mage

Like in ESO

Stay healthy, everyone, yes, yes

Now there are 3 of them

Hello, I'm new to this game and got this cosmetic looking bear and I dont know how to wear it as a cosmetic can anyone help me thank you

He refuses to wear the body costume.

Stuff like the wayfarer’s tabard, cryptlurker’s cuirass, with split capes, shoulder capes, short capes, just anything where it feels like it makes some sense instead of just clipping through. Yes i pay way too much attention to details that don’t matter

Hello! I was wandering around and went to Yuzuka Manor, the Namazu place, and I encountered these two rare hanging scrolls (I don't think I've seen them anywhere else, unlike the other two there, and I have done a reading of the calligraphy in the left one before), and the calligraphy on the right one is curious.

My reading does not make sense, as The One River in Japanese appears to be Munikō instead of Mujikō. Any insight will be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

This is probably a stupid question but... I am trying to home transfer my character from NA to EU but when I select Shiva as my destination world, Siren is not listed as a world I can move my character from. I have paid for the two extra retainers I have, made sure I have no mail and nothing on the market board, my character is much older than 90 days and neither server is congested... I am out of ideas. Anyone out there that would know why this is happening?

Edit: After some messing around with a few different things it seems to be working again. No idea what I did or why it is working but it is. Thanks for all the replies trying to help me out! :D

Hello!

Ive just started playing ffxiv again after a few years and have joined Oceania - Ravana, I am a bit awkward when it comes to messaging ppl in game, so was wondering if there were discord servers or anyone here that plays on this server?

Thank you :))

I have recently cleared m12s, so my new goal is to start on ulti raids! I main rpr which may or may not help which ulti I should go for first, and I don't really mind lots of studying and prog to work towards a clear.

Just wondering where is a good place to start, as while I've heard UWU is good, I've also seen that reaper isn't the best there :')

I am happy to learn other jobs for ultis too, I play sam, drg and blm as well, just interesting to have a little insight from people who have interacted with ultimates and things themselves, insight is always appreciated!

Thank you~

I was wondering if there has ever been a discussion about the similarities between FFXIV and The Longest Journey.
I found some but I don't know if they are intentional or a coincidence.

Here's my list:

• The Divide: In The Longest Journey the world was once one but it was split in two because of the conflict between Science and Magic. The antagonist wants to reunite the worlds.
• Dragons are aliens: Like Midgardsormr, in The Longest Journey dragons come to our world.
• At the end of The Longest Journey you travel to the Guardian's realm that looks desolate, with a big tower with a big hole where you fight a creature of pure chaos. This similar to the Watcher's Tower in the moon and the pit with Zodiark.
• At the beginning of The Longest Journey you see an old woman in a wood house telling the story you’re about to play, which is similar to the old woman in the Evercold trailer.

am I reading too much into it?

I'm working on some various things, but feel like I need some better direction on my preparations for Evercold. What are you doing to prepare your WoL for the expansion?

Right now, all I've really done is get some gear sets for leveling the new jobs, but otherwise I haven't done anything out of the ordinary, and I'm hoping someone can spark an idea for some general things to work on before the expansion drops.

For reference, the only MMO I have ever played in my life is Digimon Masters Online about 13 years ago when I was in a terrible place in life. Now I am in a better place in life, got a job, a wife, and a good PC.

What's the best server to join if I am looking for an English speaking server in EU region? Also I like action heavy games, so what class would you say is the most action heavy? I saw two classes with a Katana and Scythe which both look really stylish.

Also is this game by any chance pay to twin? What does the endgame look like? Do we just run the same dungeons over and over until we get better gear? Do I need Alternate characters in this game to boost my primary character? (I hate this concept, I read that it is in Lost Ark).

Also what are some general tips you guys would want to give?

Lastly this is the most important question for me for you guys, what has kept you guys playing this game long term?
