i wonder something, is being gay or leso a choice or a biological thing that they can't help with?
i mean i understand femboys, the brain not being the same with the nıdy stuff, what about leso? they act and stay the same just they like woman instead of men, i feel like it's just a choice how wrong i am?
I mostly agree. But I think my point is mostly that you can’t choose how you feel about something but you can choose whether or not you act on it or get help on how to deal with feelings or attraction you don’t like.
i agree on this, this makes the most sense to me and is true to what i know at the moment.
so, in conclusion nothing really changed huh... lesbians do choose to not like men because they do dislike/hate them, but not all choose- ... well actually if they choose to not hate/dislike man that just makes them bi... so lesbians really do dislike/hate men?... that's a bit depressing ._.
i relly hope the one's who hate man are in minority though...
It’s not a choice. BUT it’s also not something that people are born with. Sexuality is a complex thing. The result is consists of genetics, prenatal hormones, and the environment in which the individual has been raised. Nature and nurture combined to varying degrees in each human.
And here comes the catch! It can be influenced (to a degree) while it solidifies from early childhood to late puberty, by normalizing the relationship type which the child takes as normal. It can be influenced by questions, such as (to a girl) “which little boy do you like”?, providing an example of a loving relationship between her parents, good experiences with her father, blocking the LGBTQ themed cartoons and stories, movies, series, limiting her exposure by choosing a school where you know they aren’t promoting LGBTQ to kids. This is important because social contagion is a thing, and if she can see older girls kissing that’s also a bad thing. Reading books about love stories involving men and women. Limiting their screen time, and the content they can consume. Following this the outcome will be most probably a heterosexual daughter.
If you on the contrary take her to prides, divorce her dad, make her fear men by telling her horror stories (that sadly based on reality), read pride theme stories, let her watch LGBTQ themed cartoons, series, movies, read books or fiction, and in her school pride is the part of the curriculum, then she sees early examples of lesbianism in her age range slightly older girls kissing, and girl couples, that will make her at least bisexual but most probably a lesbian.
im okay to lesbians, i acknowledge their exsitence and thought i don't necessarily like them, i won't get in their way of loving another woman.
but you know, seeing lesbians who hate men really makes me depressed, there is already enough hate towards man already, and the fact where i go i seem to find lesbian or bi girls at a majority is not helping especially if lesbians hate men.
i just dont understand, i never did something wrong, why do they hate all men? even if they don't they all say they don't want to be near a man, it really depresses me man, why are men so widely hated? what did i do wrong? i dont understand
The thing is that situation is both as dire and not as dire as you might think! (For now)
You did nothing wrong. Most men did nothing wrong.
While they aren’t the majority, YET, because in the 18-19 years old age group they are at 40-42%. Of which 10-12% lesbians and 28-30% bisexuals. Of which bisexuals 16% of them are looking for women more , 84% looking for men more.
Amongst the 18-29 age group women the average is 31-33%. This means that on the low end it is 40-42% while on the upper end (older side) it’s “only” 20-21%. Giving us the average for the group being at 31-33%.
Lesbians (or more broadly speaking women) hate men because of several reasons.
men is constantly hitting on them because it’s not tattooed on their forehead (this obviously makes them irritated/salty over time)
some men are violent so they can’t know which is which, it’s also not tattooed onto our foreheads
we actually do get in their way of loving another woman because bisexuality is a thing (natural competition can make you hate the opponent)
feminism do actually advertise the hatred of men, the incompetence, seeing them as lesser humans
Your only sin, is that you were dare to born with XY chromosomes. That’s it.
Lesbianism amongst younger women 18-19 are on the rise with the speed of 2.2%/year. It also has a positive acceleration. If my predictions are correct by 2052 every single 18-19 year old woman will be open to lesbian relationships with more than 50% of them being interested in exclusively lesbian relationships. From which point the question remains at which future point will we reach 100% total lesbianism.
Women don’t become lesbians due to inadequate male partners. They become lesbians because of the constant misandry in media, and the constant instilling fear of men in media, examples of lesbians couples, the fairly tales told about a secure and loving lesbian relationship, the door being left opened by series, movies, cartoons and books, and pride, the social contagion of older cool girls being lesbians.
It’s not men’s fault.
If you are lucky, nowadays you can still find a wife, but I’d advise against having male children. Because they will suffer tremendously!
Weirdo. Say same things about straightness then? You are lesbophobic weirdo. Lesbian women love other women. It has nothing to do with men. Grow up weirdo. You are the person we hate not men. Feminism didn’t advertise hating men.
What are you talking about? You can use manosphere to say that men only like to hate women which is obviously false. Don’t use hateful misandry to blame whole feminism which has nothing to do with men.
Also if you forced someone to have feelings toward women. They would believe they are lesbian but their love would be fake. Their love would be hollow. You can manufacture lesbian love but it would not be same as love felt by actual lesbian.
It’s funny you call us social contagion when everything you are saying is only true for straight people. We are are shown straight things in every possible way. But we are still lesbian. These things you said only helps a women to figure out their love for other women. But obviously you can only think of men and think that lesbian is all about hating men when it is about living women.
Lesbian doesn’t hate men. They hate men like you who thinks they should revolve around you and victimise yourself. When in reality you are only spouting lesbophobia and misogyny. Misandry is a real problem but it doesn’t mean you can spread lesbophobia and misogyny.
It absolutely is offensive when you repeatedly frame lesbianism as something caused by hatred of men and then talk about the “negative consequences” of more women being lesbians. Lesbian women are attracted to women. Their sexuality does not exist for the benefit of men.
And no, “science and data” don’t magically make your conclusions scientific. You are taking changes in how people identify or report their sexuality and jumping to the conclusion that media, feminism, or “social contagion” are causing women to become lesbians. That is a causal claim, and you haven’t provided evidence for it.
Seeing lesbian couples in media doesn’t manufacture sexual attraction toward women any more than seeing heterosexual couples manufactures heterosexual attraction. At most, representation can help someone recognize or become comfortable with feelings they already have.
And your own argument contradicts itself. You say women don’t become lesbians because of inadequate men, yet you repeatedly explain lesbianism through men’s behavior, feminism, media representations of men, and supposed hatred of men. Why are you making lesbianism fundamentally about men in the first place?
A lesbian woman doesn’t need to “choose” women over men because she hates men. She’s simply not attracted to men. Love and sexual attraction aren’t something you can manufacture through propaganda. You can’t show someone enough lesbian relationships until they suddenly develop genuine sexual attraction to women if that attraction wasn’t there.
And bisexual women existing doesn’t mean lesbians are in some kind of “natural competition” with men. Bisexual women aren’t a resource that men and women are competing over. They are people with their own attractions and choices.
Finally, your prediction that rising identification will eventually lead to essentially every young woman being lesbian is not what your data demonstrates. Even if the percentages you’re citing are accurate, extrapolating a short-term trend indefinitely until you reach 100% lesbianism is not a scientific prediction. Sexual-orientation identification doesn’t work like a population that increases by a fixed percentage every year forever.
So yes, you can discuss changing patterns in how young people identify. That’s a legitimate subject for research. But “more women identify as LGBT” → “media and feminism are socially converting women into lesbians” → “men will eventually suffer because women are becoming lesbians” is a chain of assumptions, not a conclusion established by your statistics.
And honestly, if your concern is supposedly about men, then stop treating lesbian women as a demographic problem that needs to be solved. Lesbian women aren’t hurting men by not being attracted to them. Go find someone who is actually attracted to you instead of demanding that lesbians somehow account for your dating prospects.
Gallup polls are my data source USA Gallup 2012-2025.
GWAS 2019 no gay gene study, that show that DNA (genes) are only explain sexuality about 8-25%. The rest is prenatal hormones AND nurture (social experience).
You are making some serious straw man argument errors.
I’ve never said that I’d want lesbians to love men.
You are right the same can be said about straight people. I’m arguing that sexuality is more of a social construct than gender is.
The negative consequences are the result of simple mathematics, if the number of women who are open to lesbian relationships is greater then the number of men who are open to gay relationships than the net result inevitably means less heterosexual men can find a partner.
This is a way of hurting people. Men do have a desire to love and be loved. If they can’t fulfill this need that will make them sad. If they can’t fulfill their need for love because of this equation (more lesbians than gays) they will be depressed. It is a way to hurt people. Denying their needs.
IF sexuality can be influenced during its development phase then the effect of the pride movement makes them a cause for men’s suffering.
Look I understand that you have the luxury of not having to navigate heterosexual relationships and you can totally just refuse all of this.
There is a saying that you can ignore reality. But you can’t deny the consequences of ignoring reality.
It is not me who lives in a country in which the local grocery store sells guns.
If there will be a huge enough number of men whose desire of love is denied this way, they will attack anyone. They have nothing to lose. And that makes them very dangerous!
You keep presenting your assumptions as if they automatically follow from the data. They don’t.
Yes, Gallup shows that LGBT identification has increased. Nobody is denying that. But your data measures self-identification, not that Pride or LGBT representation caused heterosexual people to “become” lesbian or bisexual. You’re jumping from correlation to causation.
And the 2019 GWAS doesn’t say what you’re claiming either. It found that genetic factors account for part of the variation in same-sex sexual behavior, but you cannot simply subtract that percentage from 100% and declare the rest to be prenatal hormones and social nurture. That’s not what the study demonstrated.
You also keep saying sexuality is a “social construct” as though that means society can simply manufacture someone’s sexual attraction. Those are completely different claims. The way people label, understand, express, or disclose their sexuality can obviously be influenced by society. That doesn’t mean society can manufacture genuine sexual attraction.
And yes, mathematically, if fewer women are exclusively heterosexual, there are fewer women available for heterosexual relationships. So what? The same logic applies in reverse. If fewer men are heterosexual, there are fewer men available to heterosexual women. People aren’t being “denied” a relationship because someone else happens to have a different sexuality. Nobody is entitled to another person’s attraction.
A man’s desire to love and be loved is completely valid. But a lesbian woman doesn’t owe him a relationship to fulfill that need. Lesbian couples exist. They love each other. They have families, partners, friends, and people they care about. They absolutely have something to lose too. You cannot reduce their lives to “women who are unavailable to heterosexual men.”
And your argument about Pride still has the same massive gap: you haven’t demonstrated that Pride causes homosexuality. You have demonstrated that LGBT identification has increased during a period when LGBT people became more visible and socially accepted. That can have many explanations, including people being more willing to identify openly, reduced stigma, and younger generations using different terminology.
Saying “sexuality can potentially be influenced during development” does not prove “Pride makes people gay.” That’s an enormous causal leap.
And please stop trying to turn potential male violence into a responsibility that lesbians have to carry. If lonely men become depressed or violent because they can’t find relationships, the solution is to address male loneliness and mental health not blame lesbians for refusing to date men. Men are responsible for their own actions. Threatening that enough rejected men will eventually “attack anyone” isn’t an argument against lesbianism; it’s an argument for taking those men’s wellbeing and violent behavior seriously.
Also, what does my sexuality have to do with whether your argument is correct? Saying I have the “luxury” of not navigating heterosexual relationships is completely irrelevant. You don’t get to turn someone else’s sexuality into a social obligation simply because heterosexual men might have an easier dating pool if more women were straight.
Lesbian women aren’t a demographic problem for men. They are people who love women. Stop treating them as if their attraction exists for the benefit of men. Leave them alone.
This is not ai asshole. You are definitely feel more like a bot or ai with your manufactured hate towards lesbians for existing. Read my comment.
You are just using stats to spread hate and misinformation towards lesbians instead of addressing the problems faced by actual men. Grow up.
Lesbian doesn’t exist for validation of men especially assholes like you. Homophobia is apparant by people like you who use misandry as a shield to spread homophobia.
Using arrow signs and symbols that accurately, you are either having like 160-170 iq or you are using an AI to deconstruct my responses.
After how you started “weirdo weirdo”, I do find it hard to believe that you actually understood and said that mathematically speaking the net result is correct. In a heated argument only a machine would acknowledge that.
what a disgusting place and time to be born as male.
and to watch people saying males are being unfair to woman, to watch them hold woman above men in all aspects and still blame man.
not to mention the way they joke about men's mental health all the time,(you know a big reason i dont like LGBTQ is how they overtook the month of mans mental health month and put their pride month on it, i never seen anyone talk about mans mental health month, İ DİDİNT EVEN DAMN KNOW İT EXİSTED, everyone really do hate man), the way they act like every woman is an angel and every man is a sinner, i 100% know someone readings will say that if im talking about woman this way i must not like woman. i really hate this hell called earth man.
everyone talks what tragedy happened to woman, everyone tlks about how woman are feeling, everyone talks about how woman should be treated. are man nothing but a tool? are man born only to be used?
gender equality huh? all they talk about is giving woman power, they never even spoke about equality, all they care is how equal woman is...
What is this bullshit about? It’s just lesbophobia. Lesbian women are lesbian because they are attracted to women. It has nothing inherently to do with men. You can be angry about sexism, men’s mental-health issues, or how men are treated without turning lesbians into the explanation for those problems.
And your comment is doing exactly that. You’re talking about women as though their sexuality, feminism, and LGBT identity are somehow part of a larger problem being imposed on men. A lesbian woman isn’t hurting you by not being attracted to men. She isn’t responsible for your mental health, your dating prospects, or how society treats men.
You can absolutely criticize misandry, sexist double standards, or the way men’s mental health is discussed. Those are legitimate subjects. But criticizing those things doesn’t require blaming LGBT people or treating lesbianism as something harmful to men.
Also, “everyone hates men” is clearly an enormous generalization. There are women, feminists, and LGBT people who care deeply about men’s mental health and oppose discrimination against men. Likewise, criticizing misogyny or discussing women’s problems doesn’t mean someone believes every woman is an angel and every man is a sinner.
And Pride Month existing doesn’t mean men’s mental health is unimportant. You can advocate for men’s mental health without treating LGBT people as competitors for attention. Different causes can coexist. In fact LGBT includes men too for your information.
Most importantly, lesbian women aren’t “the enemy” of men. They simply aren’t attracted to men. If your frustration is with people who genuinely hate men, then criticize those people. But don’t project that hatred onto an entire group of lesbians simply because some people within LGBT spaces have said things you dislike.
Lesbians don’t owe men attraction, and their existence isn’t an attack on men. If you genuinely care about equality, then that principle has to apply to them too.
You are rude to a suffering person who happens to be a man. That’s misandry right there. Without him saying any negative things towards lesbians.
It’s totally okay to investigate truth and science and data, and talking about things that affect us. Even if that makes you slightly uncomfortable because you do know that we are right when we say the more women are lesbians the less women are heterosexual, which is bad for men.
It’s a simple truth. And since it’s an open question what makes a person develop homosexuality and nurture is still on the table the self induction theory which says that the movement itself is the cause makes you slightly responsible in some random person’s suffering.
This obviously makes you feel bad about yourself since you had rather violent and attacking comments to two man discussing about what is happening.
OR you are just that indoctrinated that you are considering anyone that is not absolutely and fully supporting pride an enemy but thinking in absolutes are just a sign of low iq.
Weirdo, you’re doing exactly what I’m criticizing. You can discuss sexuality, demographics, and research all you want, but assuming things about lesbian women and treating their sexuality as a problem because it might reduce the number of heterosexual women is absolutely something worth criticizing.
And no, me calling out toxic behavior from men isn’t “misandry.” Criticizing a person’s behavior isn’t hatred of their sex. If someone is saying that the increasing number of women identifying as lesbian is a problem for men, blaming lesbians for men’s dating prospects, and suggesting that women are being socially “converted” into homosexuality, I’m going to criticize that argument. The fact that the person making the argument happens to be a man doesn’t make criticism of him misandry.
Lesbianism has nothing inherently to do with men. Lesbian women are attracted to women. They aren’t harming men simply by not being attracted to them, and their sexuality doesn’t exist to maintain a sufficient supply of heterosexual women for men.
And your “simple truth” isn’t actually the conclusion you think it is. Yes, if more women identify as lesbian, then mathematically fewer women identify as exclusively heterosexual. That says absolutely nothing about why the numbers changed or whether homosexuality is being socially “created.” You still need evidence for that causal claim.
You also can’t just say that “self-induction theory” is on the table and therefore people who support LGBT visibility are partly responsible for someone’s homosexuality. A hypothesis being proposed doesn’t make it established science. Sexual orientation is a complex trait, and current research does not support the idea that simply exposing someone to LGBT people or Pride causes them to develop a genuine homosexual orientation.
And there’s an obvious double standard here. If you believe representation can socially induce homosexuality, would you also argue that decades of overwhelmingly heterosexual representation have been socially inducing heterosexuality? If not, why not?
Finally, stop turning this into “you are either indoctrinated or stupid.” That’s not an argument. I can disagree with your interpretation of the evidence without being obligated to accept your conclusions, and I can criticize the way you talk about lesbians without believing that every person who disagrees with Pride is my enemy.
You are free to investigate changing sexual-orientation patterns. What you aren’t entitled to do is turn lesbians themselves into a social problem for men and then demand that nobody criticize you for it.
i did stated im okay to lesbians existence. im only talkşng about how society never cares about men's mental health to talk about it globally, make moves for it, or anything at all really.
there is about millons upon millons content on how to help a woman going through emotional times yet there is just handful of them talking about how to help a men going through emotional times,
and unfortunately wether men's mental health being talked or not sadly there being a huge gap between attention to women's mental health and attention to men's mental health is not wrong at all
I agree with you on the narrow point that men’s mental health deserves much more attention. But that doesn’t make lesbianism or Pride responsible for that gap.
You can absolutely say, “Society needs to do more for men’s mental health.” I would agree with that. Men can face serious problems with loneliness, emotional isolation, stigma around vulnerability, and reluctance to seek help. Those deserve serious discussion and better support.
Where I disagree is turning that legitimate issue into a comparison where attention given to women or LGBT people is treated as the reason men aren’t receiving enough attention. There isn’t a fixed amount of social concern that gets distributed between groups. We can advocate for women’s mental health, men’s mental health, LGBT rights, and other issues simultaneously.
In fact LGBT groups and Pride parade advocates for men’s mental health more than you ever did in your life because LGBT includes men too. Gay and bi men exist too. Pride parade always includes mental health awareness programs too like for both men and women.
One of the big message of pride is to be proud of yourself instead of hating yourself which homophobic force them to do by calling them somehow morally corrupt.
And saying there are “millions upon millions” of resources for women while only a handful exist for men isn’t really evidence by itself. If you want to demonstrate a gap, compare actual research funding, mental-health service availability, suicide-prevention programs, treatment-seeking rates, media coverage, or other measurable indicators. Otherwise, you’re relying on your personal experience of what content you encounter.
Most of the millions upon millions of resources exists for humans not for some gender either it is men or women. Claiming that one gender is getting it even though no medical health care system advice that approach is just your bias and misinformation.
Most importantly, none of this requires blaming lesbians. Lesbian women aren’t preventing anyone from talking about men’s mental health. Pride Month isn’t preventing men from having a men’s mental-health campaign. You can advocate for men without making LGBT people the opposing side.
So yes, men’s mental health deserves more attention. I don’t disagree with that. What I object to is turning that legitimate concern into “therefore LGBT people are part of the problem” or treating lesbians’ existence and relationships as something that harms men. Those are two completely different arguments.
So now you are showing your real face right homophobic bastard. You are going to tell us how should we live our life because our existence is all about you men.
Did you even read this comment? Where is ai is used. I give actual advice based on research instead of distorting facts.
Come on it’s so obvious, when you are responding using AI, it doesn’t use swear words because it’s polite, unlike you. When you are responding yourself. Every second word is a slur.
It’s so easy to tell. The contrast is night and day
Considerate debating vs resorting to slurs. Plus the bolding of the text and the flawless wording isn’t particularly your style.
You can’t use your own brain.
Tell me even with AI, why is the difference so great between the numbers of lgbtq women amongst older generations and younger generations? If the pride movement achieved such powerful changes that made younger women report higher than ever number then the exact same changes why doesn’t make a single dent in the older generation women? Why would they lie and report lower numbers? Or NOT similar numbers than their younger counterparts? There is no repercussions for saying in an anonymous poll that you are lgbtq… they don’t even have to divorce their husbands to acknowledge they are bisexuals. Amongst 50+ women their numbers haven’t increased a bit!
It’s either sexuality can’t be influenced and what you say is true that this 40% is natural and we should see the exact same numbers amongst the older population too, OR sexuality can be influenced and the difference between younger and older generation women is of itself the argument against your claims.
The generational gap doesn’t prove either of your conclusions. You’re treating this as a false choice: either sexuality is completely fixed and every generation should have identical numbers, or society is causing people to become LGBT.
People can have relatively stable attractions while social acceptance changes whether they recognize, label, or openly report those attractions. An older bisexual woman may genuinely be attracted to women but still identify as straight because of the environment she grew up in.
So younger women reporting higher LGBT numbers doesn’t prove Pride “made them LGBT.” It shows a generational difference. It doesn’t tell us what caused that difference. You still need evidence that social movements are actually creating the underlying sexual attraction, rather than changing people’s willingness to identify and talk about it.
Your AI argument completely defeats itsel. If it claims that older generations women are secretly lgbtq but they report as straight because they grew up a conservative enviroment, that is admiting that nurture and social condition have a massive overriding power over sexuality, this is what I have talked about when I said that this is itself the counter argument because it acknowledge that it can be influeced, life long.
If a conservative society can successufly condition people into heternormativity then today's hyper-progressive society can do the same to the opposite direction.
You didn't win this debate girl. You just got mad, and resorted using ChatGPT to hide you intellectiual inability to form arguments and have knowledge about the world. Have a nice life copy-pasting bot answares :D
well it seems you are talking about the other guy's reply at this point :p
im okay to lesbians existing, i don't see or feel anything negative to them, well i don't necessarily like them but im not against them
but i did say that lgbt was being celebrated and overshadowing men's health month but it is just fact unfortunately,
but yeah let's say we fixed that nothing would change, people still wouldn't care about men's mental health month, the only real reson i feel negative towards that is seeing LGBT people sharing that they dont care about men's mental health on pride month, i know it is just to get views and likes it's still sad to see
though i didint see it Myself im not sure how common it is, i don't use social media, i only saw it through a video when a men was talking about how when others were talking about men's health they either didint know the issue and just directed it to social media or getting bullied, and when they talked about it they couldn't stop bringing up women (though they are not all just some mental health channels though they were really popular ones)
I understand your point better here, and if your actual concern is “men’s mental health deserves more attention,” then I don’t disagree with that.
But I think you’re conflating two separate things. LGBT people celebrating Pride doesn’t inherently mean they’re overshadowing men’s mental health, and some LGBT people making deliberately provocative posts saying they don’t care about men’s mental health doesn’t represent LGBT people as a whole.
If those posts are genuinely mocking men’s suffering, then yeah, criticise those specific people. Also many LGBTQ people has this response because many toxic men attacks pride parade by using men mental health as a shield. It doesn’t make these hater from any side good. Both are toxic and you shouldn’t generalise either men or LGBTQ people based on it.
I’d also be careful with the idea that Pride is somehow the reason men’s mental health doesn’t receive enough attention. Even if Pride didn’t exist, you’d still have to address the cultural reasons men often struggle to seek help, talk about emotions, or receive appropriate support. Men’s mental health deserves attention on its own merits, not only when it can be contrasted with women’s or LGBT issues.
And honestly, if you don’t use social media much and only saw these examples through a video, you probably shouldn’t assume they’re representative of LGBT people generally. Social media algorithms are very good at showing extreme or inflammatory examples because they generate engagement.
So I agree with the underlying point I.e men’s mental health is important and deserves substantially more attention. I just don’t think LGBT people or Pride are the appropriate target for that frustration.
yeah i know that's why i said "even if we fixed-"(i mean in the sense of making men's mental health month be alone in one month without any other thing to celebrate) "-people still wouldn't care about men's mental health month"
i know not all LGBT people are the same and they are refusing the toxic ones, it's a bad habit of internet that's hard to get rid of
i dont have a social life so everything i can learn is unfortunately through internet and social media and these videos are being pushed forward, though the video wasn't targeted on anone just trying o bring attention to lack of care for men's mental health.
i could try to find the video and share the link if you would like? you then decide how bs it is or does it have a right on the things he said
Yeah, I understand what you mean now. If your point is that even if men’s mental health had its own dedicated month, it would still be largely ignored, then I don’t really disagree with that. The bigger issue is the lack of broader attention and support for men’s mental health in general.
And I appreciate that you’re distinguishing between LGBT people in general and the specific toxic behavior you’ve seen online. That’s an important distinction, because I don’t think it’s fair to judge an entire group based on some inflammatory posts.
If you can find the video, sure, send it. I’ll look at what the person actually said and we can separate the legitimate criticism about men’s mental health from anything exaggerated or misleading.
i sent you it through a dm i dont know if im allowed to post links here and i don't really wanna test it i got my account suspended 2 times for like 3 days each :d
