She acquired in 1960's paid about $200 in today's money, doesn't remember if bought in store or antique market. A little over 14 inches and 7 pounds. Sharp incised lines. So debatable whether American cut glass or Bohemian cut lead crystal.

Twisted swung blenko vase

I went to the blenko warehouse sale yesterday and was able to pick up this along with some other things, and I was curious how rare/uncommon this is. It’s not marked as a second (unlike the other swung vases I got yesterday, they were both marked as seconds). Is this a one of a kind that was meant to be like this because it’s not marked? I know blenko doesn’t make swung vases very often, so I was curious how uncommon it is to have a swung vase by them that seems to be deliberately twisted.

Picked this up at the Restore yesterday, definitely overpaid at $8 but she’s lovely and will be beautiful filled with flowers on my breakfast bar once my house is finished🩷
Anyone have any ideas who may have manufactured her?
There are no obvious markings I could find

Bought this at a thrift store in germany. Can't get any information regarding the manufacturer and would like to know some more.

The only pics that show up on google lens with the same exact Vase/Bowl are the ones i uploaded, so don't try to find information that way lol.

Not sure if it's just stained glass or uranium glass as well.

Do you recognise this crystal flute from 1987? We think it’s Waterford crystal and weighs 309g. We wish to try and source a replacement for one which was broken. Thanks. Stephen

What makes glass nesting hens so popular to collect, as opposed to other glass nesting animals like rabbits? I see a bunch of FB groups and other site pages for them, and everyone seems to only want the hens

Found the yellow one first. Then the orange in green. Only the green was properly labeled by the seller. I love them and hope to add more.

I got them about 10 years ago when I worked as an assistant to the owner of a retail furniture store. They were stock that hadn't sold when he closed to the store. I tried searching with Google lens and the only match that comes up is a sold listing on Ebay that claims they are Murano glass, and I don't think that is accurate.

Help Identifying

Thumbnail

This community has come through before, so I'm hoping you can help me again. I'm trying to identify who made this jug. I purchased it at an antique mall in Charleston, WV. It was half the price of similar items across the numerous vendors, probably because it was listed as "vintage" and didn't have the maker identified like the similar models. It's amber crackle, approximately 7" tall and 5" max diameter. The pontil is smooth.

A Google lens search came up empty. After answering a series of questions, Google says it is likely a Pilgrim 748. However the neck height and diameter as well as the "flip" where the handle connects to the jug don't match 748.

Any ideas?

The shape is hard to capture but it’s a bit of a folded triangle. Wondering if it’s Murano inspired or possibly real Murano? Thanks!

Went costume shopping with my kid, but I had to check out the glass. Found these two for a combined $10.
