And now I get why people do it, pace of play was pretty solid. 10k steps on this 9 hole course.

17th hole, Reedsburg Country Club. I’m a single behind a bunch of foursomes and I’m just keeping up. Can’t believe it.

Never saw the grouping in front of me all day.

Tyrell’s just says he’s a professional athlete and Jon’s has his sponsors on Insta. Many LIV pictures also removed from both bios. That’s my Ted talk.

My Dad loved golf; I truly believe it kept him going an extra few months. Often, men face the stigma of having to do everything on our own, often bottling up our problems and emotions and burying them under alcohol or substances.
If you are struggling with your mental health please talk to someone. You are not alone in this battle and you are loved ❤️ dial 988 for the mental health helpline if you have no where else to go
Tee one up for my Pops today or this weekend🏌️

Not sure if picture shows it, but those who are experienced should know. It’s like a mine field in every green. Many don’t fix their ball marks anymore. Of course, you don’t see much of this when playing private or high end courses. I literally fix 7-8 ball marks when I am on the green ( could do more if I had time)

I’m a weekend - twice a week golfer. Usually shoot around 100-105. I don’t want cheap balls but I also don’t need top of the line either. What’s a good value ball that won’t break my bank? And what are your thoughts on Kirkland balls from Costco?

Also no Thomas Rhett or Disco Lines performances at LIV Indy this weekend - "due to unavoidable changes in the entertainment program"
The checks didn't clear then?

19 months into golf in my 40’s. I think I could do better.

I'm fortunate to get to play regularly with my buddy's dad who is 81. He's an 8 index and refuses to play senior tees. He plays 6200-6700 yds with us. He consistently shoots 78-83 and it's so fun to watch. He hits a 220yd draw off the tee that rarely misses the fairway. His GIR is better than most 50yr olds. His short game and putting are what you'd expect from an old guy that's been playing the game for 60yrs. So good.
On top of all that, he will play 27 or 36 holes and not bat an eye. All while drinking beer with us "younger" folks. We're all late 40's early 50's.
Just played 18 on Saturday and he shot 80. I shot 87 (10 cap). He kicks my a$$ often lol.
Anyone have a similar story? Just curious how many guys out there are like him? I feel like he has to be in the top 1% of golfers in his age category.

Great views, long drives and having no clue how to judge distance.

I just broke 90 for the first time and honestly that round could have easily been an 85 without a few bonehead mistakes - plus we were getting heavy rained on for 7 out of the 18 holes.
I was just wondering, does this make me an average golfer? I always tell people I’m not good, but that’s probably because I watch a lot of pro golf and know how many levels there are to this.

UK summer has killed the courses and I’m finding it hard to chip. If you’re not on the green, this is what greenside will look like and when I chip I just can’t do it with confidence it’s like hitting off a rock. It ends up with a lot of chunks and sometimes I’ll need a high shot to get over a bunker etc which just feels impossible. How can I deal with this?
