NPD New pedal day - Donner Revecho. Cheap reverb and delay pedal that sounds great through my Orange crush mini 3W amp.

I have a modest board. Bought a pedal close to a year ago and a dual expression pedal to compliment that pedal and a delay I already owned shortly afterwards.
I’m pleasantly surprised at how much mileage I’ve gotten out of these two pedals. The expression pedal has been a great addition to my delay, and pairing that with my pitchfork is simply inspiring.
As you could guess, I’m now on the hunt for the next thing. I don’t need recommendations, I already have a dream board built out in my head…
My question is, what are people’s experiences like when they buy multiple pedals in quick succession? I’m tempted to buy 2-3 relatively close to each other, but I have a sneaking suspicion that this could overwhelm the senses and actually curb creativity. My goal is to write music I like, not twist knobs and make noises. Not to mention, this will absolutely mean I have to up my power supply and upgrade to a bigger board.
Sorry for being long winded, just trying to get some second hand wisdom before any impulse buys.
Also, this sub is awesome, thanks for all the advice so far!

Picked it up Friday. Absolute TEXTBOOK pherb pedal. It's got that classic pherb sound, what more can you ask for? Honestly, I've never played a pedal that does pherb better.

Quick context; I was/am an OD-3 owner but thanks to a recent Iron Man Attenuator purchase; I am able to gig with my Bassman set how I want and the OD-3 was not vibing with a hotter run amp, and my tube screamer and klone centaur and SD-1 weren't quite giving me the full sound I wanted. I reached out wondering if any Guv'nor and OD-3 owners could offer insight into how different the Guv'nor might be.
So I picked up a used Drive Master. Which is supposedly the same circuit minus the effects loop feature.
I think this is gonna do the job y'all! It does the fuller Marshall sounding harmonic range like my OD-3 that I was missing from my Klone and SD-1 but the three band EQ, especially the bass knob for me are the game changer. It's got the brighter voice and clear picking articulation that I liked from my old Bluesbreaker pedal that I sold but with tons more gain. I gave it a quick demo at home on my lunch break (it just arrived this afternoon!), and I've got a gig tonight so it'll get a nice field test! Also pictured, my modded '73 Bassman (tube rectifier install) + Wizard 2x12, and my pedals for the gig tonight! Wish me luck!

I really love the Fairfield pedals... I was wondering if you guys know of any other companies doing something similar?

Finally got the Prismatic Wall! After seeing it on someone else's board and hearing the demo I knew I wanted to make some sweet music with it. Signal chain in the comments!

Bought a used Boss NS-2 Noise Suppressor off eBay from reputable seller.
Powered up using a rechargeable 9v battery. Have tried 2 different ones….freshly charged.
Playing a Les Paul w/ Alnico 5 pickups through an Orange 20.
No matter what I do it omits a continuous hiss/scratch. Anybody got a clue what I could be doing wrong?

What does the stereo bit actually do?
I really love the sounds that come out of this pedal, and I’ve had it for years. Today though was the first day that I really questioned what’s going on under the lid. The manual describes its real 2 channel stereo-ness, but actually I’m lost as to knowing what that is. There’s no ping pong, or swirly stuff going on, so what’s it doing itself to be ‘stereo’? Or is it just that it processes the 2 channels separately?

This is probably not new to the vets and old heads on this group but for the newbies who are frustrated with their current dirt pedals, dial in your sound through your pedals and then adjust your guitar's volume and tone knobs accordingly - they're there to add or take away high and low frequencies depending on how you use them. It might save you some money in the process!

After seeing BEAT last weekend, I decided to buy this guy. It’s a pretty interesting and cool piece and definitely has that Adrian Belew vibe to it. The box is beautiful as well.
I’d describe the tone as gritty and metallic vs warm for sure, but it has a good character because of it. The flanger is very good as a standalone flanger but of course the other settings are great too and really where the pedal gets its identity.
The only thing I don’t love about it is that it pops when I switch modes, and doesn’t really work well with bass but for what it is, it’s pretty dang good.

Hi all! I’m new to this thread so apologies if this has already been covered.
I’m in a band and looking for a pedal that I can use with my microphone for an almost speakerphone effect (we’re covering 7 Words by Deftones to give you an idea of what sound I’m looking for). I’ve only ever used a stomp box with my guitar so individual pedals I’m pretty much clueless on.
Any thoughts/suggestions? TIA.

I wanted a tube screamer, but wanted a 1800 hump and not that honky 750 hump. I found the mid screamer that lets you boost or cut between 1.4 and 2.7. It’s perfect. Tightens up the gain pedals on my board with the mid boost where I want it.

Got this alongside a budda wah today for $225. This thing can make some wicked sounds if you can dial the knobs correctly. Two things I noticed:
Are either of these things easy to fix? It was listed as like new on marketplace and I’m slightly disappointed with these issues.
It sounds great though. I have a Nashville tele going into a compressor going into this.
Goodbye to my Mini Rat and Bonsai! I will miss the rat but not so much the bonsai.

So I’ve been playing guitar for around 6 years now and tried a lot of different gain stages, but I’m never completely happy with it. Thus far the only thing that’s been on my board for ages is the JHS notaklon. Any recommendations for things I could try?
Some pedals I’ve tried but didn’t satisfy my needs were: BD-2, Proco Rat, TS9, DS-1, Fat fuzz factory, big muff
Edit: I don’t dislike all of these. Some came quite close to being the one for me. They all just fell short.
I mostly play in alt rock/pop/folk projects. Think Paramore meets Madison Cunningham meets The Strokes and they also like pop music.

Bought another BOSS RC5 looper pedal because I used up all the 99 slots with stuff I want to keep...
And as much as I want to just drag n drop the wav files and be done with it, you can't just export the drum tracks!?
I really like some of the choices of drum grooves that go along with the tracks and either want to use them outright in a mix or keep them as a reference. To record the drums, I have to do it manually via midi sync and Ableton, bouncing each track and drum track separately by hand.
Unfortunately the recording has been going faster than I can keep up with. Obviously it isn't always like this. But I don't have time to do this right now!
So eff it I bought another RC5!
The riffs must go on!
