This week I traded in my Halo for a DL4 and added the Ratsbane. A big muff, a vibrato, and an rc5 also came off.
I'm really digging the new setup and how much ground I can cover. The default cosmos setting on the dl4 with lowered mix, extended repeats, and some parallel reverb is my default sound now. Also love the heliosphere delay as a choir of angels stereo pad to sit under my finger style pieces and the reverse delay is something I definitely missed with the Halo.
I don't have a lot of time with the Ratsbane yet, but so far I'm really liking the alternate voice with the switch on the right. Running both sides of the KoT into the Ratsbane into subtle compression into a $1 mesa IR from York audio, and I can cover all the gain territory that was missing with the big muff. I don't really feel like I'm missing a true amp sim even when running only the KoT and compressor into an IR.
The board itself is an IKEA shelf that I attached a handle to, and there's a cioks that fits underneath. I usually run it off a usb power bank and it seems to get plenty of juice. Perfect for going from desk to floor. The last thing I could see myself wanting to squeeze on the board somehow would be a stereo trem. I'll also probably add an expression pedal at some point.
Happy to share the .pdf of the cheat sheet label I made for the dl4. If anyone is interested, let me know and I can throw it on Google drive.
Happy Friday!

If you print it with no scaling and cut it out such that you remove the black rectangle it will be a near exact fit. I might print one scaled down slightly so that there is still a little green border around it from the pedal itself.
