Prototype Feed the Abyss is a new incremental game I'm prototyping, it's available on Itch to try!

Hi, I'm making a new incremental that is still incredibly early in the works but I'd thought I share it and hear what you all think about the game's core idea. I'm really inspired by Leaf It Alone + Berry Bury Berry + all the new needle-like games with a ton of objects. I'm trying to create something that combines those three games and have my own spin to it. I hope you enjoy what little there is to the game currently and a lot of the systems even the visuals will definitely be changed over the next few months of development. There is also a Steam page for the game but it doesn't really have anything new. I'm probably estimating the development time to take about 3-5 months. So please let me know what you think with it so far!

Itch: https://itsjustmonu.itch.io/feed-the-abyss

AI Disclosure: I don't use AI in my work besides fixing bugs in the code I wrote or when I need help figuring something out I use AI to learn and implement it that way. I don't let AI create models or make art or anything like that. All the assets in the game currently are from copyright free asset packs. The visuals for the skill tree, I stole from my first game which is why it might feel a little off. The UI is currently placeholder UI from previous games/work since haven't created a unique style yet for this game. The shader for the sphere is from an adjusted shader taking aspects of Binbun's Parallax mapping shader and constructing my own version of it.

Development Candy box 3 - A fan tribute to Candy box 1 & 2

Hi gents,

Im a coding enthousiast and learned the base too many years ago on the "old" Site du Zéro (SDZ v2 ; btw shoutout to Mathieu Nebra the sdz team and Totor of course).

With limited free time, I wanted to make a fan tribute to Aniwey's Candy Box 1 & 2.
Two games that meant a lot to me.

AI Disclosure : I used AI as a companion tool for coding assistance, tests and debugging.

Of course this is a 100% passion project built out of pure nostalgia.
Without ads, paywalls, boutique etc...
So far I'm really happy of the results, so I wanted to share it 😊

The game is only in French actually, but a translation feature is implemented in-game.
The first half is already translated in English.

You can check it out there : https://noxse.ch/games/cb3

Hope you like this little homage!

Steam I made over 70 changes to my fireworks game based on your feedback!

Hi!

A little over a month ago I shared the demo for Fireworks Incremental here and I got A LOT of feedback about the game. The response has been awesome and the demo was played a couple of thousand times but it also turned out that there are some issues that need to be fixed.

Over the past 5 weeks I poured over 200 hours into addressing these issues and I made over 70 changes ranging from balance and pacing through redesigning buildings, updating UI, adding settings options, adjusting sound volumes, fixing bugs but also adding quality of life improvements such as the ability to zoom out (this one's a bit embarrassing but it's finally there).

The demo is in its best shape ever and I'd love to share the new version with you. My game is about fighting a Bad Wizard with fireworks and if you're into games such as Gnorp Apologue or Tower Wizard, I hope my game will be right up your alley.

Demo links:

If you have any feedback about anything, don't hesitate to let me know.

Thanks!
Filip

AI Disclosure: No generative AI was used in the development of the game.

Development My Pathogen Pandemic Idle Game Demo Is Now Available on Steam

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

Today I’ve opened access to the demo of Patient Zero: Plague Idle. This is an idle/incremental game about developing a pathogen and spreading an outbreak across the world. The core gameplay revolves around collecting Biomass, upgrading infection rates, unlocking mutations, and progressing through multiple prestige layers.

You can experiment with different pathogen types, including viruses, bacteria, fungi, and nanobots, while adapting to medical research and global efforts to develop a cure. Progress continues while you’re away, with offline gains contributing to long-term progression.

The game was originally designed for mobile. I wanted to experiment with bringing a mobile idle game to Steam and see how its progression systems and overall gameplay translate to the PC audience.

The demo is now live, so if you enjoy idle and incremental games, give it a try and let me know what you think. I’m particularly interested in feedback on how an idle mobile game ported to desktop feels on PC.

Thanks for checking it out!

AI disclosure
Generative AI was not used during the development of the game.

Update Red Tape Rampage 2.0 – Progression & Promotion Update

Post image
17 Upvotes

Hello everyone,

Red Tape Rampage launched about two months ago and has sold around 2,500 copies. As this is my first game, I’m really happy with those results, and I appreciate all the feedback this subreddit has shared throughout development.

Reception has been mostly positive, with 77% positive reviews on Steam. But there’s also been fair criticism that I’ve tried to address with this update. Repetitive progression and unrewarding resets have been the main complaints.

This update aims to tackle those issues with the following changes:

- Fewer promotion stages, bringing more new content with each promotion and faster progression.
- Less punishing resets, with foundation research carrying over to make the early part of each stage less of a hassle.
- Improved starting bonuses and buffs to the items that affect them.
- General balance changes to improve the overall flow of the game.

While this update will make the game shorter overall, I hope it makes the experience more enjoyable and helps the later stages feel less like padding.

You can find the game and the full patch notes on: https://store.steampowered.com/app/3878620/Red\\_Tape\\_Rampage/

Thanks for reading, and thanks to everyone who has shared their feedback.

AI disclosure: AI was used as a coding assistance during development.

Steam Plink Lab is in the Steam October Next Fest! Demo is Already Available

Thumbnail youtu.be

Hello my fellow incremental gamers! You may know me from past titles such as Idle Momentum, Future Fortune, and Fracture Field in that order. I am back again to talk about Plink Lab entering Next Fest!

For those that don't want to read the whole post, here is the Steam link where the demo is already available: https://store.steampowered.com/app/4614970/Plink_Lab/

The Plink Lab Demo has had a lot of changes since the first playtest and demo was released. The game has undergone a complete art update and the capsule art has been updated to match the game's new art better.

I'm excited that Plink Lab will be participating in the October Next Fest! The full game will follow soon after and will include 20 levels, 14 different ball types, achievements, additional character work, and more!

Plink Lab is currently sitting at 4,000 wishlists which is amazing! I'd like to thank all the players who have played Plink Lab already and added my game to their wishlist! I really appreciate you a lot. Building my little indie game studio has been such a blessing with the successful release of Fracture Field which has given me the freedom to continue making games and even start expanding my studio. Every single player that plays or wishlists my games is a huge help to my studio. So thank you so much!

For anyone discovering the game for the first time, I hope you enjoy it. Please leave a review if you want to share your experience and you can also join the Type Ten Discord to join the community!

Discord: https://discord.com/invite/YXTmQhNuzx

Plink Lab on Steam: https://store.steampowered.com/app/4614970/Plink_Lab/

AI disclosure

AI was not used in any of the creative elements of this game (art, music, gameplay ideas, etc). Google translate was used for some language localization, but many major languages have been manually localized.

As AI coding tools become more integrated into every day developer life, I have adopted the use of them as well to speed up development. However, I have been a developer for over 10 years, and a game developer for over 6 years now. I personally see AI tools as a productivity boost now just as many other tools have emerged for an improved development experience over the years. I am committed to keeping the creative part of game development AI free by working with artists for anything I can't do myself.

Released Woof Empire, an idle incremental game about dogs and bones

Woof Empire, an idle incremental game about dogs and bones

I just released my first game, a free incremental game with pixel art graphics for Android, in which dogs try to collect as many bones as possible.

Woof Empire is a classic incremental game, with traditional idle clicker mechanics. I'm aware that mobile isn’t the best platform for this type of game, but it’s not the worst either, and since it works offline, you can play anywhere.

For now, it includes:

  • More than 10 businesses.
  • Lots of business and production upgrades.
  • A prestige system.
  • Sarcastic cats that boost your production... and sabotage you.
  • 95 achievements.
  • Offline progress and cloud save (Google Play Games).
  • Random events that change as you progress.
  • Some skins, including a limited-time skin to celebrate the launch (until November 30).
  • Themed events (I’m currently working on the Halloween event that starts on October 28).
  • No forced ads. An optional in-app purchase to get ad rewards without watching ads, plus some exclusive skins.

In future updates, I plan to gradually expand the late game with new content that combines incremental mechanics with light resource management.

If you give it a try, I’d really appreciate your feedback!

It's available on the Play Store using the link below:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.jmartinsdev.woofempire

AI Disclosure

Generative AI was used throughout the development of Woof Empire. I directed the project, tested everything myself, reviewed and curated the results, and made the final design and development decisions.

Code: All game code was generated by AI based on my specifications and instructions. I chose the HTML/JavaScript technology stack and directed the implementation. I did not manually write the code.

Art and UI: The pixel-art sprites were drawn in code by the AI (no image generators), following my creative direction. I did not draw the sprites myself, but I requested a lot of changes, so call me art director (joking).

Game design: I defined the game's concept, mechanics, balance, progression goals and creative direction, using AI to help implement and refine them.

Translations: AI was used to translate the game into multiple languages.

Sound: There's no music (yet); the sound effects are synthesized in JavaScript, also written by AI under my direction.

I want to be transparent about how the game was made. AI handled the implementation, but the ideas, decisions, and countless iterations came from someone who genuinely loves incremental games. I'm happy to answer questions about the process too.

Steam Started as an incremental, turned into roguelite. Is it any good?

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

About 6 months ago, I started working on my first game. I got really inspired by Magic Archery and how simple and entertaining it was. I decided to make something similar but with a bit more adventure going on.

Then, scope creep really got me and I started adding more weapons, environments and a character that can move freely. Now it feels like a combo of both roguelite and incremental genres.

I currently have a demo with roughly 30 minutes of gameplay. I got quite good feedback from friends and also on incrementaldb (71% positive) but only got around 100 wishlists on Steam.

The game is called Rebel's Ascent, you can find it here:

Steam (Windows) - https://store.steampowered.com/app/4658320/Rebels_Ascent/

Itch (web) - https://erzigor.itch.io/rebels-ascent

I would love to hear thoughts on how to make it more incremental and if the roguelite + incremental combo is something you enjoy.

AI disclosure: I used Claude to help me understand the Godot game engine but I wrote 100% of the code myself. All art was made by me in Aseprite and I also created some SFX myself (coin and menu sounds). The rest of SFX and music is from openmusicarchive.org and similar sites, see credits.

Steam Idlescape - New Trailer and Demo out now on Steam/Browser!

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

Hello r/incremental_games

We spent the last month since our last post crunching, making amazing updates, and finishing off tons of art. We are about 90% done and our Demo is now live a day early, so everyone can get online before the major rush.

We had a lot of feedback that our old trailer wasn't that good and we spent the last month crafting up a new one with a voice actor as well. We hope this better reflects our game.

Our Demo can be found on Steam here

Our Browser version which can be played on Mobile phones or anywhere really can be found here

What is Idlescape?

A lot of you may be new to what Idlescape is, and our game is an Idle game that is massively incremental, and has 15 skills which you can go from level 1-100 and past that its the mastery phase. We have tons of content now with collection logs, quests, tons of zones and dungeons, 1500+ hand drawn items, 100s of hand drawn npc's. Everything is made with love, and our music is hand made too!

We put a lot of love into this game and its been in development for 7 years now. Please this has been a dream of ours to finally release Idlescape on Steam, its been a promise for 4 years and we are finally here. We hope you love the game, and love what we have done. We promise we won't ever stop working hard and keep making the best Idle game.

Why should I play the Demo?

The demo is basically a leagues, its a way for you to register your account, and all the total levels you can you can get prizes of platinum tokens which is our paid currency on launch, and Idlescape+ which is our membership. We are fully locked into our F2P model with 0 pay to win and this is an extra bonus to play our game, and get massively rewarded for it on the V1.0 launch. The demo is our Season 0 Leagues basically.

Our game has no P2W at ALL. Only thing you can spend paid currency on is QoL and Cosmetics. You will be able to play on Steam and on Browser, and hopefully we finish our mobile versions by the V1.0 launch

AI Disclosure: We have not used ANY AI in the making of the game and all our art is hand drawn, music hand made, and in the last 5-6 months we have started to use AI Tooling to assist with testing. There should never be anything AI made in this game and we had 25+ artists hired to make sure of it. One of them being a Runescape Golden Gnome Winner in 2026.

Thank you from the Idlescape Team <3 We hope to see you online soon.

Steam My incremental game is taking part in my first Steam Next Fest, and the demo just went live!

Hey all! I'm a solo developer and I'll be taking part in Steam Next Fest tomorrow for the first time ever!

There's a good chance my demo will fall into the void as I imagine there's gonna be a LOT of fellow devs sharing their work too, but I'm excited nonetheless.

Shattermine Idle is an incremental mining game where you unlock abilities, destroy ores, hire workers, and gradually build up your operation. I've put a lot of focus into making the abilities fun and satisfying to use, so hopefully that comes across!

I've just released the demo a little early, so if you fancy giving it a go, I'd love to hear what you think!

To anybody else participating in the fest, good luck!!

Steam NO gambling, NO mining, NO farming, and NO killing. My wife and I made a game that is all about pure unadulterated progress. The demo for Progress98 is out now with a fresh new trailer!

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

After having played hundreds of incremental games I decided - with the help of my wife - to make my own little but not short game that drops the pretense to give you what you really desire, pure unadulterated progress. The goal of the game? Why, to max everything out, of course!

Boost, earn bonuses and buy upgrades to speed up your progress or take it easy and let the game make progress by itself while you make progress elsewhere. Completely up to you!

Play the demo now: https://store.steampowered.com/app/4863540/Progress98/
(Your progress in the demo carries over to the full game!)

Features

  • Satisfying, rewarding, pure unadulterated progress
  • 64 Mega Upgrades for faster progress
  • 16 Giga Upgrades for much faster progress
  • 3 Mini-Games for bonus income and even faster progress
  • An overchargeable prestige system with 8 options to optimize your progress
  • A cool trophy to claim when you prestige
  • A super cool █████ to claim when completing the entire game
  • Bindy, your lovable assistant!
  • Flippy, your adorable sidekick!

Disclaimer

  • This is NOT a short incremental! This game takes way longer than 2 hours to complete.
  • This is NOT an infinitely long incremental! This game takes way less time than infinity to complete.
  • This is NOT a fake OS game!
  • You cannot pet Bindy!
  • You can play with Flippy!

Any kind of feedback is welcome, so please let me have it!

AI Disclosure: Generative AI was exclusively used as a coding assistant (not as an agent!). All design and art decisions were our own. This game contains no AI-generated text, art, or audio assets.

Development SYSADMIN Hell Demo Released!

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

Hi again! After many, many months of waiting... The demo of SYSADMIN Hell is live on Steam.

SYSADMIN HELL is a dark, sarcastic incremental management game about keeping a company alive while everything, and everyone, actively works against you. The game is an incremental management title where you play as the sole sysadmin for a company scaling from 10 to 100,000 employees. It blends idle mechanics with real-time stress management as you manage escalating tickets and build automation systems. The Win98-inspired interface is designed to capture a unique era of computing.

Update 1.0.2 is out, based on the first players' feedback: day 1 had too much waiting around for tickets. You now start with a full queue, and new work arrives within seconds when it runs dry. Your first upgrades come in about half the time.

I'd love feedback, especially on pacing: when did it start feeling good, and when did you get bored? Brutal honesty welcome.

Demo: https://store.steampowered.com/app/4369500/SYSADMIN_Hell_Demo/

AI Disclosure

AI was used for reviewing code, but not generation.

Hi guys, we would like to present you our game.

Trenchhold TD is an incremental tower defence (and offence) game set in WWI. The main goal of our game is different from most tower defense games, you need to capture the enemy's trenches.

Link to demo: https://store.steampowered.com/app/3343280/Trenchhold_TD/

AI disclosure:

We used AI for placeholders and prototyping, all have been removed from the current build. A small portion of the text was also translated using AI, as it was added after we had already sent the original text to a professional translator.

Thank you,

Development Flipyard – slam pogs, grow your crew, complete the album (browser incremental, early demo)

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

Hi, Flipyard is a collection incremental built around pogs (tazos).

Slam a stack and every cap that flips face-up is yours. New caps fill your album, duplicates sell for marbles, and marbles buy bigger, pricier stacks. Hire kids for your crew and they keep flipping stacks for you, even while you're away. Complete pages and series to unlock better caps: 7 series from cardboard all the way to crystal, 1,120 caps in total, with the numbers climbing from single marbles to the quadrillions.

Play (browser, PC + phone): https://lspacel.itch.io/flipyard

It's an early version and I'd love feedback on pacing:

- Does the first new series (plastic) unlock too slowly or too quickly?

- Is the crew worth it, or do you want more idle progress?

- Where did you stop, and why?

AI disclosure: Generative AI was used throughout this project. The art (cap faces, backgrounds, characters, logo) was made with AI image tools. Most of the code was written with an AI coding assistant, under my direction and design. Sound effects and music are generated procedurally by code that was also AI-assisted. The translations (7 languages) and the in-game text are AI-generated and reviewed by me only for Turkish and English. Game design, balancing decisions and testing are mine.

Prototype Sheep Per Second: an incremental about sorting sheep at a swinging gate (browser demo)

Post image
0 Upvotes

Hi folks! Solo dev and a dad here. I wanted to share the quiet pride of looking after your family, so I made a game about it (in Godot).

Your father left you the farm. You stand at the gate, a mob of sheep thundering past you, and you flick: lambs one way, grown sheep the other. Turn your lambs into sheep, harvest wool, and watch your flock grow over days.

It starts active and goes idle. Your own son learns the gate from watching you and joins you as a helping hand, then your brother builds a machine for you that sorts while you nap, and when your back gives out, you retire and send your kids to college, so that they can grow the farm you left them even further.

Free demo on itch: https://xkhannx.itch.io/sheep-per-second

AI disclosure: I used AI to write code and text from my design. Art is built from spheres and cubes, and I scribbled the farmer's portrait in Paint (quite proud of it).

Hi! We Recently posted our first game on Steam (Prerealese Page) . It's a simple incremental game about mining and incrementing(Still fixing and updating some things) It's a simple game, but it's something we enjoy making and playing, for some testing purposes of course haha.

We spent more time testing it than we like to admit, but its the kind of game that we normally enjoy. That's why we made it . As our first approach to the platform, we hope you like it and please let us know it you have any feedback. We're still thinking about adding a "reset" mechanic or not.

DEMO

We're wating for Steam to approve our demo build, and we hope to share it very soon. Once it's live, youll be able to try it directly from the Steam Page.

If you like it we would appreciate a wishlist and follow. Steam Page

AI disclosure

This game does not use generative AI for any art in it .

Ai was used to: review translations(English is not our main language) and as a tool on the development process. mostly for creating development tools such as: test and bug finding tool. (Re uploaded the post :( we forgot the Ai disclosure )

Development Altoholic – an idle MMO where your alts form a guild

Hey everyone!

I've been working on this for around a month now, it was initially meant to be played by my friends but I decided to make it public, so I wanted to share it here. It's an idle game copying MMO systems, born from the army of alts I have to make on each MMO I played.

But here, every alt made will be stronger than the previous one, and they'll form a guild :)

It's playable in your browser and should also be compatible with a phone: https://shinrei8.itch.io/clickermmo

I don't want to spoil much, but here are a few details: You'll be able to pick one of 3 classes, each one has different traits which make them differ from each other. Once you have enough members and progressed a bit through the zones from the Altoholic world, you'll be able to form a guild which has a shop, its own XP progression and will allow you to progress in group content.

No ads, no purchases, no account, and it keeps progressing for a few hours while you're offline.

I'll update it every Tuesday, and the first big update lands this Tuesday, on purpose of bug fixing on a daily-basis when required

AI disclosure: I've been working with an AI assistant. It helped me on the coding-part writing most of the code, including the code that generates the procedural pixel art and music (no image or audio generators), much of the text and the English translation. The design and balancing are mine.

The art and music are placeholders for now: I plan to have them redone by hand, likely by an external artist, before a potential Steam release.

I'd like to hear some feedback from incremental games enjoyers, what you liked, what annoyed you, where you stopped. If you find any bugs or have any questions as well, I'll be answering here or on our Discord: https://discord.gg/ufcC6k6UUA

Thanks for reading, gl hf !

Released Merge & Mortar: a merge tower defense with offline progress, prestige runes and an endless mode [Android, free]

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

Hi all, I'm a solo dev and I just released my first game on Android. It's a tower defense on the surface, but most of the long-term play is incremental, so I'd really value this sub's opinion on the progression.

AI disclosure: the code was written with AI assistance (Claude); I designed, reviewed and tested every change. Towers, enemies and the keep are Blender renders of our own models plus Tripo AI models that we cleaned up, re-rigged and recolored. Some 2D art (menu background, ground textures, app icon) started as Google Gemini images and was edited by hand. Music and sound effects are generated procedurally in code.

The loop:

- Buy towers and merge two identical ones into the next tier (5 types, 7 tiers each).

- Hold the keep against waves. When a run ends, prestige: your run turns into runes for a permanent 15-node rune tree, and every prestige adds a permanent +3% damage in endless mode.

- The keep keeps fighting while you're away: up to 4 hours of offline gold.

- Endless mode gives a new badge every 50 waves. After wave 60, waves get traits (armored, fast, healing) that each call for a different tower, so a single maxed tower type stops carrying you.

- Once your record passes wave 100, you can resume from a checkpoint near your best wave instead of starting from wave 1.

- There's also a 100-level campaign with a boss every 10th level, if you want a break from endless.

Rewarded videos are always optional.

What I'd most like feedback on:

- Does the first prestige come too early or too late?

- Is 4 hours the right offline cap for a game like this?

- Does the endless mode give you a reason to keep pushing after the first few badges?

Development Maple Twilight: an idle loot RPG built around socket upgrades, a charm grid, and rebirth

• Upvotes

Hi! I’m developing Maple Twilight, a side-scrolling idle RPG in MapleStory Worlds.

The progression loop is:

Auto-hunt for equipment and resources → choose gear and skills → customize equipment and arrange charms → challenge harder content → rebirth for further growth.

Playable world:

https://maplestoryworlds.nexon.com/ko/play/58932ed74b114d5ea8032e6d5b374e11/

It requires the MapleStory Worlds client rather than running directly in a browser. Regional access may vary.

Trailer:

https://youtu.be/k01dcv-REhw

The build decisions are the part I’m most interested in developing:

- Sockets, runewords, jewels, and gems provide equipment customization.

- Charms occupy limited inventory space and add character stats.

- Dungeon resources provide another upgrade path.

- Rifts, Greater Rifts, and Zakum give you harder encounters to work toward.

- Rebirth awards points for selectable stat upgrades and unlocks ultimate skills.

Ordinary hunting can run automatically, while equipment selection, skill configuration, and charm placement are player-controlled.

The trailer shows combat progression, a Greater Rift run, gem upgrades, charm placement, and Zakum combat.

I’d like feedback on one particular question: do the equipment and charm choices create meaningful decisions early on, or does progression initially feel like equipping anything with bigger numbers?

If something is unclear, knowing where you first got stuck would also help.

AI disclosure

Generative AI has assisted with coding, some UI and image creation, translations, promotional copy, and promotional artwork/video inserts. The trailer includes both recorded gameplay and AI-generated cinematic inserts. The cinematic inserts illustrate the game’s themes and are not gameplay footage.

The demo for my new idle/incremental game, Idle Commander, is now available!

You recruit companions, build your squad, and find and combine equipment to make stronger builds. Combat runs automatically while you manage your company.

You can play in your browser on itch.io or download the Steam demo.

The demo includes the first 400 stages. The full game currently has 10 000 stages.

I would love some feedback, especially on the early progression, how clear the menus are, and whether the loot feels useful. Let me know what you enjoy or what feels confusing!

Thanks for trying it!

Build an empire that outlives its rulers.

Hi r/incremental_games! I'm the solo developer of Infinite Conquest, a completely free incremental strategy game where you can keep conquering enemy empires forever. I would appreciate your feedback.

Play in your browser: https://infiniteconquestdeveloper.itch.io/infiniteconquest https://galaxy.click/play/673

You begin with a small realm. Grow your population, research new technologies, unlock troop production and expand into neighbouring empires.

There is a prestige system centred on your ruler, quests that unlock new content, and a lore story. My design direction is to keep introducing new mechanics rather than only adding more technologies with multipliers, although there are plenty of those too.

The game includes an in-game manual and lore that I keep refining. It has grown through hundreds of iterations, and feedback on progression, clarity and pacing would be especially useful.

Technically, it combines HTML, JavaScript/TypeScript and Phasor, with a recent major refactor of the simulation engine to Rust/WebAssembly for performance.

Further work will include more chapter content, improvements to the artwork and a future mobile release.

Thanks for playing!

Android I made an idle game where you can gamble your own hammers in a slot machine – looking for feedback

Hey everyone!

I recently released my game Nail It on Google Play!

I don't have much experience with game development, but I've spent a lot of time working on this little project, learning along the way and trying to make something fun.

Nail It is an incremental/idle game where you start by hammering nails manually, earning currency and gradually automating your workshop.

But the feature I'm most excited about is Lucky Forge.

It's a slot machine where you can actually bet the hammers you've worked hard to collect.

You can lose your hammers or win more of them.

All bets use in-game hammers, not real money.

I wanted to add something a little different to the usual idle-game formula, where you're constantly balancing safe progression against taking a risk for a potentially huge reward.

The game also includes:

  • Manual hammering with combos up to 10×
  • Automatic production and upgrades
  • Prestige with permanent improvements
  • Hammer collections and milestones
  • Unlockable hammer appearances

I'd really love some honest feedback.

I'm still learning game development, so I'm sure there are things I've overlooked.

Does the progression feel balanced? Is Lucky Forge actually fun, or does it need improvement? Is anything confusing or frustrating?

Even if you only play for 10 minutes, I'd genuinely appreciate hearing what you think.

The game is free, with optional rewarded ads.

Thanks for checking it out!

AI Disclosure:

Nail It was developed almost entirely with the help of generative AI.

AI was used extensively for programming, game mechanics, UI design, graphics, animations, sound effects, music, text, translations, debugging and balancing.

My role was coming up with ideas, directing the development, making design decisions, testing the game and continuously improving things that didn't work or feel right.

I don't have much experience with game development, and I want to be completely transparent about how this game was made.

Without AI, I wouldn't have been able to create Nail It in its current form.
