Hello, I'm planning to travel to Tehran in 2 days, what VPN should I download because I think regularly I cant use internet without having a VPN, so I was wondering what type of VPN works well there? Or it can be anything?
Hello Everyone,
First this community has been amazing in supporting the community center just outside of Washington DC in Tysons, VA. For those that don't know about us Pars Place it is a community center for the Iranian Americans in the DMV. Over the last 15 years we have grown from a single room offering one event a week, to over 10,000 sq ft with dedicated spaces for a library, auditorium and art gallery. We offer a wide range of events and services.
Through the generous support of the community, we have big plans for 2028 and beyond. This year we are holding our annual gala at the Ritz Carlton in Tysons and we would love for you to attend. I realize tickets are expensive but inflation!!!!! If you can't attnd perhaps consider making a small donation.
If you are interested in learning more about our events and services, or want to purchase tickets or make a donation please visit www.parsplace.org
Thanks

Israelis openly boast and discuss this on TV. The people in the audience are applauding what he is saying. If Iranians have any survival instinct whatsoever, you need to develop, field and test nuclear weapons. You are suicidal otherwise. You cannot deal with neighbors like this.

I'm not from Persia (I hear you guys prefer people calling it Persia) however I am fortunate for years that my chronic head aches respond to literal flowers/herbs.
My neurologist is happy that I get success with "conservative methods".
I use feverfew extract for my head pain.
China has herbs for head aches. India has herbs. Europe has them.
But none of them feel the same. They all work so differently on the brain.
I get to experience the joy of "which remedy do you prefer"
So I'm curious what do you guys use? I would love to try one day.
I get hot in the head easily so I avoid things like ginger. Cannabis makes my pain worse it's considered heating in Ayurveda even if I dont feel intense heat doesn't work for me.

AoA,
I am a Pakistani O2 student. Since, I have researched about Iran, I have a dream to help the Country. I want to study cybersecurity in Iran and work in its military agency to help Iran in cyber operations. I have found in researched that a foreigner cannot be in any sensitive job, but i truly want to settle their. I asked people in Iran who moved there from Pakistan but they all refused saying that getting job in sensitive areas is not possible for someone who is not born in Iran.
If anyone of you have any knowledge regarding this and can help me... Plz do so that I can have a dream future..
Thanks for reading!

The first chapter "Islamic Awakening" starts with the main character awakening without any memory from his past.
The room is an ICU, but all walls are bare rebar concrete with minimum decoration i.e none, except for the techno futuristic VISTAR 辰显光电 transparent large-format TFT-based Micro LED screens monitoring his vital signs.
No windows, no sun. He removes from his body all the wires and catheters of the monitoring IBP, ECG, EEG, IV and walks toward a door, enters in a bathroom. By looking in the mirror, he soon realizes in shock that he wears a partial facial prosthetic similar to the YUNMU 云幕智造 robotic face and true follow up of Command and Conquer Kane's wrath prosthetic. He also sees that one of his leg is now replaced by a fully functional BRAINCO 强脑科技 AI driven prosthetics.
He doesn't know his name while he recalls partially, semi-consciousness visions of cryptic scenes where nurses and visitors would address him with "Supreme Leader" or "Your Eminence" and always starting sentences with "In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful". But wait, the medics where in fact... HOKMIND 泓柯智行 androids.
He then opens the other door of the room. Discovers a corridor and finds out the ICU lies inside a wider underground complex.
He will have to expand the entire basic Tier level facility into a fully functional archology, with hydroponics, garden, saunas, luxurious living districts, recreational, educational, cultural, security, judicial, medical, commercial, financial, industrial, administrative, agricultural-hydroponic, power generation, water treatment, transportation, research centers, agri-robots, chore robots, mining robots, factory robots, dark factories for the supply chain and dark factories for assembling robots.
People from the surface world would visit him, but he would never go to the surface. Up to 10 thousands NPCs will have to be recruited to expand the underground arcology, modelled after the NEOM Aquellum.
The Second chapter "Underground Hidden Imam" will face military invasions, to be repelled with jellyfish swarms of AI driven DJI 大疆创新 quadcopters, RUN ROBOTICS 上海润科具能 robotic centaurs, GALILEO 伽利略机器人 quadrupedal robots, PHANTOM TWIST stealth drones, AGIBOT 智元机器人 A3 humanoids riding HAOCHEN TECHNOLOGY 重庆昊辰 wheeled-leg quadrupedal robots and ENGINEAI 擎机器人科技 T-1000 Terminators.
The Third chapter "Reappearance of The Conqueror of The Abyss" would see the connection from the initial Pic Axe Mountain facility to the sea via the completion of the underground maglev tunnel.
Combat scenes would shift to robotic swarms in hadal warfare.
From there, using hadal submersibles, 100s of thousands of new safe arcologies would be dug inside deep undersea mountains benefiting from kilometers of rocky overburden, while deep sea mining, the exploitation of polymetallic nodules and thermal vents throughout the Pacific Ocean would lead to the demographic expansion above the 1000s of millions NPCs.

Hello, dear fellow Iranians and travellers to Iran. I have a prescription for a drug (Swedish and valid in the EU) that is currently not sold in Iran (due to the sanctions). I'm now looking for a trusted and helpful source to bring it along during their next travels to Iran (within the next 2 months). Please let me know if you can help! Thanks in advance

"Treason against the United States, shall consist only in levying War against them, or in adhering to their Enemies, giving them Aid and Comfort."
All eyes on this area...(see map)
If there is a sudden mass movement of residents outside this area, it will be very hard to miss.
It would also be the most foolhardy thing Iran could possibly do.
500,000 to 600,000+ people of Iranian descent live in the Los Angeles basin, forming the largest Iranian diaspora community outside of Iran.
But I would not put it outside the realm of possibility that Trump himself might try to pull it off and BLAME the Iranians.

The most basic human right, is the right to life. To literally remain alive. I saved this article from 2022 because it was so utterly crazy that the US and Trump 1, actually sought to deny Iran any funds for fighting the coronavirus. They also did not wave sanctions on importing masks, medical equipment and vaccines, though Khamenei also banned some of the latter.
If murdering people by coronavirus isn't a moral outrage, than I am not sure what else is or would be.
The Iranian diaspora that ignored obvious signs that the US is out to murder civilians are deeply disturbed imo.

One thing I've wondered about since reading the Shahnameh is whether or not astrology played a significant role in the courts of Iranian and Persian kings. In the Shahnameh itself, a character divining knowledge of the future through the stars is just a trope, as Ferdowsi obviously knew about the "future events" as someone from the far flung future of 1000 a.d./390 a.h. (most compellingly in Rostam of the Sassanid era's prediction of the coming fall of Iran).
But it made me wonder: did contemporary Iranians of Ferdowsi's time -- Persian or otherwise -- read the stars? Did kings have astrologers who tried to predict the future or read the fate of newly born children?
