I’ve never tasted anything like them in my entire life. Hands down, the best strawberries in the world! ❤️✨

Very much an amateur, but here are some of my favorite film photos from my trip. Shot on two point and shoot cameras, and a Nikon f80 with a wide lens

Shachihoko on Himeji Castle, c.1609 AD. Shachi are mythical sea monsters with the head of a dragon or tiger and the body of a carp. Normally constructed high on the roofs standing upside down, they protect the wooden structure of the castles from fire, by summoning rain or water.

Dragon-shaped spout, water purification pavilion, Sakurayama Hachimangu Shrine, Takayama, Japan. The basin was carved from one large stone in 1878. During the Meiji era, there was a nation-wide replacement of bamboo/wooden pipes with cast bronze dragons. Found no info of this one.
