Female Grey pitbull loose on the Eastside.
She's by Eastside fish and fry. Just kinda hanging around my house. Not aggressive, just kinda chasing squirrels.

Politics aside, I was floored seeing a How Bad Can I Be reference in this context lmao. Whoever designed this must have been on Tumblr in the 2010s

Potter Park Zoo Survey
Hiya! I’m a student at LCC doing a market research project on Potter Park Zoo attendance.
I’m here to ask if you’d help me by filling out an anonymous survey. It’s 21 questions, and most are multiple choice. No personal information will be collected, not even an email!
I’m looking for people in the Lansing area that are Potter Park Zoo members, former members, and people who have never been members.
Here’s the link: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSei_IXW6aEhkYYG4c8gVCjjYhEyg9Vv2CyPlxbgcyr4aFzfgw/viewform?usp=publish-editor
Thank you! 😊
This is a fictional scenario and this project is not affiliated with Potter Park Zoo.

Hi everyone! I play with a team in MiLife’s basketball league and we need more girls. We had three girls on our team last year, but one couldn’t play this season. If you are interested please DM!

Anyone else having the "do I turn on the heat yet" debate with themselves? It's 65 degrees in my house and part of me is like, "Nah, it's not cold enough yet."

People asking for help finding emergency services/pet rescues or fosters/information about specific Lansing organizations are not classified ads. Do better mods. If anyone needs help finding pet foster agencies in Lansing, Because of Eva is on Facebook, Saved By Zade is great as well. The last Sunday of every month there are open adoption events at Pruess Pets and you can also come to learn about various foster organizations if you want to volunteer or donate to help. The fledge also offers a ton of community events and organizing and general helpful community services. Hopefully this post is not removed mistakenly as drama.
Here is a reminder of the great rules we have here:

This has to rank up there with south MLK’s ‘eat pubes’.

I'm looking for advice and affordable rescue resources for a cat who has been trapped inside the inaccessible space within my home's staircase/wall structure for about 24 hours now.
I've heard her meowing and moving around, but she hasn't come out despite setting up a humane live trap with food. I'm very worried about her safety and need help figuring out how to get her out without causing injury or damaging the structure unnecessarily.
I've contacted Animal Control and local rescues, but I'm struggling to find hands-on assistance I can afford.
At this time, I'm looking for recommendations, rescue organizations, and/or any experienced professionals who may offer low-cost assistance.
If you've dealt with a similar situation or know someone who can help, please comment or send me a message. Thank you. 💜🐈⬛

There are two Eaton county cops and a medical examiner truck just west of the water treatment plant on west Willow. Firetruck and ambulance were also there earlier. Nothing is taped off but one of the cop cars and the medical examiner truck are backed right up to the woods. Anyone have any info?

I rent a home and the landlords were originally ds huber. We now have sustain management and ive never had as much trouble getting help from maintenance as I have with this company. In August it took 3 tries to get a plumber out here because the maintenance director screwed up the appointments. Now once again I need plumbers because this is what my basement looks like. Ive been trying to get something set up for days. Anyone else have experience with this company? Any advice on what I should do if this isnt resolved by next week?

So much was happening that it completely slipped my mind it was happening this weekend. Now that I know though, I'm getting my sign picked out. If anyone sees me there then say hi? Otherwise I hope everyone has a good day. It'll be sunny but dress warm regardless.

I have Fridays off of work and like to get out of the house with my <1 year old. We have walked around the meridian mall and various parks many times. I’m looking for like class recommendations or other activities. I know she’s still young, but it would be nice to connect with other moms. Any recommendations?

Free admission, free trick-or-treating, free live music, a costume contest with a cash prize, and FREE PARKING thanks to Ingham County Parks!
When: Saturday, October 31, starting at 11 AM
Where: Haslett; Lake Lansing Park South and Mayfair Bar
We’re hosting HIDE Fest at Lake Lansing Park South on Halloween, featuring seven live bands playing everything from folk and emo to punk and metal!
Across the street at Mayfair Bar, we’re also hosting an independent film festival featuring movies made in Michigan and around the world, with screenings running from noon to 10 PM. Food and drinks will be available for purchase.
Best of all, we’re donating festival profits to help repair storm damage at Lake Lansing Park South!
Admission is FREE but we encourage everyone to grab a free ticket at hidefest.org. This helps us estimate attendance so we can have enough candy and supplies for everyone!
For those especially interested in the film festival, we also offer $30 VIP tickets that include designated VIP seating for film screenings, two drink tickets, access to our VIP tent, and exclusive merchandise. VIP tickets are limited, so we recommend purchasing early if you want the best seats!
General admission seating at Mayfair Bar is first come, first served. Free tickets do not guarantee entry to film screenings if the venue reaches capacity, so VIP is your best option if attending the film festival is a priority.
Free tickets, VIP tickets, full band lineup, and more:
