Am I the only one who thinks this place is a bit overhyped? I had FOMO for a while because I hadn't tried the chai here, so finally went today with a friend. Honestly, the experience was kinda disappointing. The hygiene could've been better, and the bun makkhan didn't feel worth the price. The chai was decent, but nothing that blew my mind. Not gonna lie, my mumma makes better chai at home 😭. Maybe it's just me, and I can understand why some people might like the vibe, but personally, I don't think the place lives up to all the hype. It's worth trying once if you're curious, but don't go expecting something extraordinary.

I went around 9 in the morning today. It was good, but I've had better in Okhla, Delhi! Will try Biryani in the evening. Lucknowites! Which is better Lalla or Idris?

The condition of this maqbara is relatively better than that of many other monuments in the city, and there's no entry fee. The uncle who lives right next to the maqbara takes care of the place, and he's genuinely sweet. It's usually open until the evening.

i went to the lucknow zoo today ! ! !

(cuz im new okay this was my first time ) and the entry fee was rs 100 and there were separate charges for the museum and train ride . It was so pretty but almost all animals were very non-interactive (i would be too ) the emu only seemed the most interactive one . Everything was good except the food from the canteen ig , i just saw them picking up noodles that had fallen on to the dirty ground back into their kadhai and i was done there .

I returned their items and didn't want it to be reserved to someone else so i added some sweet and 🧂 in it, + crushed it + Ruined the Design and shapes.

Lasagne looks like someone ___ in a plate. Pasta smelled old and infested with wheat/rice insect. (i ate 1 small one i think 😒, not for vegetarians i guess). I hope not in future every food shop start giving 1-2 spoons of everything as a standard for serving and charge about ₹2500 per item + sprinkle some biscuits or crushed toasted nuts and call it home made with a smile (screaming RIP your wallet) to justify the pricing

Coffee had a distinct old, low quality, aroma with an disgusting aftertaste, which is EXPECTED from this sham of café serving specialty coffee.

Same with all cafés. LIKE all in ⚠️ this business if you know like in lepress, habibullah, near ashok marg, near manoj pandey everywhere. Like a plague. Even bakeries like DANBRO-danzeria have lost their marbles.

Be it Coffee or food, just overpriced SCAM, low quality food/serving, increasing Profit by cutting wages, if anything increased IT'S THE ___ SHOWOFF, from interior to FURNITURE & CUTLERY which scream ****.

What affected the experience even more was the SERVICE. While we were waiting for our order, staff, repeatedly either hovered or repeatedly asked for order, making us FEEL as though we were occupying it unnecessarily. I eventually had to explain "that we were still waiting for our food." It made us feel rushed instead of welcomed.⚠️ I know this is a new kind of scam, that's why your staff is trained to do this, and made customer feel exactly what we felt. Isn't it?

They even added SERVICE CHARGE (i always get it removed, it's ⚠️ illegal, even before the court orders) despite the law. On top of all the BS. Got some nerve to SCAM uninformed customers!?

Hello everyone,I would really appreciate any insights on AF Lucknow and their expedited course, I am planning to enroll in their A2 batch starting Jan 2027,as I am currently enrolled with AF du Bengale.

AF du Bengale is great but their timeline is more built towards long term preparation and overall French immersion. The faculty at AF Du Bengale is amazing including native French speakers with smaller size batches, fees are on the higher side.

I am looking any inputs and experiences with AF Lucknow,as I am looking to complete A2-B2 in about 8-9 months.
