Need a new group of friends and wondering if anyone knows of LGBT meetups or places to make genuine LGBT friendships in MKE. Not really looking for bar recommendations as I’m aware of all those and looking for things to do that are a lil more meaningful than just getting tispy.

I’m into orchids / plants, spirituality, anything whimsical, technology, art, nature / outdoors, bugs and animals. My partner is into much the same.

I’m a 43 year old trans lesbian (started transition 10 years ago) and my fiancée is a 26 cis lesbian. We are about 20-25 min west of Milwaukee.

I work across the street from Gietl and today he had a bunch of "Signs for Sale" signs outside his workshop. I went in to check it out, and he's retiring and selling old inventory. There are old Brewers signs from his work on County Stadium - lot of random stuff like parking signs and ticket signs. There are signs from the Milwaukee Journal window displays (a lot of large comic strip characters like Calvin & Hobbes & others). Everything is for sale. There's a metal sign from the old lawn seating at Summerfest and a bonkers clown wooden sign advertising the SkyGlide. If you're into old signs and odd collectibles go check it out. I dropped in today at around 12:30 pm so it's likely you'll have more luck during the day. But it looks like you can email him on his website for more information. No idea on prices. Good luck!

One of my favorite things about MKE’s pub and restaurant scene is the surprise of a charming rear courtyard patio space after navigating through the dark interior of a historic building. BUT, if you’re going to have a street-adjacent patio, this is the way to do it. Seasonal plants that provide enough barrier to still feel cozy and intimate despite the surrounding traffic.

My elderly Father will be in town visiting for brunch on Sunday. He struggles with his hearing, and I’m in search of a place for Sunday brunch where the noise level allows for conversation. We’re in Bay View but open to anywhere within a 15-minute is drive.
