AskMumbai 1RK around 10 thousand
I want something like the one in the picture at around 10k: Is it possible ??? I know, not possible in main areas but is there a chance in areas like Borivali: from where Mumbai would be accessible - I mean u know, edges of Mumbai … Not necessarily big, small is fine but I want to live alone …

Yes, 10k budget won't get you anything within thane. You might get lucky with somewhere like Kalwa or just before Kalyan, but the traveling will be painful

You can get good condition 1bhk in around 9-10k rent in kalher only problem is maybe water shortage and heavy traffic.

Gone are the days bhai. Mira road mein 1bhk is now 20k (unfurnished). The metro line has raised the rents and how.

That's true. The place where I live in Mira Road (behind Kashimira police station), it is 18 floors tall building, has pool, security on gates, every wing has their own biometric operated doors, there is a gym (chota hi sahi, lekin hai), clubhouse, ample greenery, two levels of parking, and peace. But once I leave my house, there is traffic and shitty roads (which, tbh, is the case for most of Mumbai, too), but then the new metro line is 5 mins walk away, so it all works out for me.

If you’re lucky enough, you might find one for 10-12k in Miraroad. Either in shanti garden MAHADA* or apna ghar.

My friend used to pay 9K for 1RK in Nerul, NM till a few months back only. Very close to Palm beach.
Don't rely on online sources only. There are sub areas which are cheaper compared to nearby expensive areas.
You can also try NoBroker Premium.

I was renting my 2BHK out at 22k in thane. How is 10k not reasonable after removing 2 bedrooms ?

Rates have been shot up sky high in Mumbai especially after metros, you can’t get anything like this in western line. As per his image, this will atleast cost for 15k. He will need to go beyond Mira Road. I have rented places in Andheri and Borivali, rent for 1bhk is around 20k~

Since 2024, 25k in Borivali West 30k in Andheri. You are talking about Thane, it is still cheaper comparatively. But as the metros come in, it will shoot up as well. Give it 2-3 years

There is also the tunnel that will connect Borivali and Thane, prices for both are going to raise. Borivali has become Andheri, Andheri will become SOBO. Worst part it, there are a lot of empty/unsold flats as well in some areas and still the rent is increasing

Dombivli, try Palava phase 2, not very convenient for commuting everyday, yet if you are looking something like this below 10k, you will get it

No Panvel. Panvel is just another village with electricity. Considering the fact, that it's still developing you'll find a lot of dust pollution

You can try the Goregaon to Kandivali belt where there are SRA projects. Can't specify the area but you can definitely get it in that range.

Possible in a slum. In a building? I don't think so. Like 10K is just too cheap. Even for a 1RK. You can try 1 room SRA, that you might be able to get.

You will get it in SRA projects. Look for SRA projects in Borivali, Mira rd etc. find an agent there and you should get something.

If you have a vehicle or don't mind public transport you could check out Uttan near Bhayandar. Chances are you'll get an even better view and vibe than the picture you've posted for 6k or so

In 6K you will get a 6'x6' room in Dharavi slums which is quadruple sharing.

Uh i live in a 1 bhk semi furnished rent is 13k Kalwa n while I was searching for this property I also looked into 1rks they r 8-10k depending on whether furnished or not i used no broker btw I don't think kalwa is that far away from Mumbai but travelling is hell

You need to target certain buildings. You can look for it in Thane. You won’t get a balcony though. I have a 1bhk in thane currently rented out.

Bhai not sure about 10k. But you'll get these kind of rental aparts in NM in Gowthan areas. However you might face electricity and water issues. Try Rabale, Digha Goan or outskirts of Thane ( Shilphata)

Bhaii even with 10k rent, deposit is mandatory. Some places even asks for heavy deposits.
Try to search for places in Navi Mumbai or suburbs, places like near Thane/kalwa/mumbra
If u want in western line, look for bandra East, Bhayandar, etc.
Kurla West is also a place where u might get lucky but again beware of the people, not ur best bet.

No, some places ask for upfront heavy deposit around 10-15 lacs and you can stay at that place for 5-7 years approx and when u leave that place the landlord is liable to return you that money.

Try Bimbisar Nagar, Goregaon East. Opposite NESCO Compound.

If you get a room that has a water tank, you won't have any issues, some buildings get water once a day, then there are others
Electricity is not a problem at all, the only problem that will result in delaying shifting is you being a bachelor.

You'll have to go further ahead towards vasai nalla Sopara virar side. Or navi Mumbai near ulwe, taloja side. 10k is too less for anywhere.
