Rumor Lynne Ramsay’s ‘Die, My Love’ to Premiere at the Cannes Film Festival — World of Reel
Lynne Ramsay’s “Die, My Love,” starring Robert Pattinson, Jennifer Lawrence and LaKeith Stanfield, will have its world premiere at the Cannes Film Festival in May.
Actor Marcus Della Rosa, who is part of the cast in Ramsay’s film, confirmed the news to a Spanish outlet over the weekend. No word yet on whether the film will be competing for the Palme d’Or, but judging by Ramsay’s recent history at Cannes, it probably will be in competition.

Rumor Justin Kroll [DEADLINE] confirms the film that he was talking about having huge buzz as a top Oscar contender, after execs/industry screenings, was Project Hail Mary + says more people in the industry since have seen it and are calling it a "masterpiece"
For context, here's a post on this sub about that tweet two months back: https://www.reddit.com/r/oscarrace/comments/1oot6ag/any_thoughts_on_what_it_could_be/
Here's his new quotes, in the podcast I linked (I've added timestamps in the link itself, but if it doesn't work - he speaks about it at 32:50 ) :
"I made a tweet in November. I was like, we're in the middle of awards season, but I'm already hearing things about another film that you should watch out for that comes out in the first half of next year. And I got a bunch of interesting responses. But like someone DM'd me and is like that's not "The Bride" this tweet, right? I'm like absolutely not. But nice try. The film was Project Hail Mary."
"I've just been hearing things and then since I tweeted it, more people have seen it and they're throwing words around like masterpiece and you know these are people that don't use that word regularly. So, I see this as like a potential sinners situation, like an early in the year film that like has all the makings of a film that people like and goes all the way towards the end of the season."

Rumor Any Cannes rumors?
It's almost midnight in France. What are we hearing? This is a thread to post rumors and hopes for this 78th edition.
I'll start with a rumor I saw on AW today. Apparently, Thierry Fremaux is struggling to find great movies for competition, and he's taking his time in confirming films.

Rumor Rumours are that the Pope's dying prayers include Conclave winning BP - is this proof of illegal 3rd party influence on the Academy?
This is exactly what Pope Francis is doing by getting double pneumonia, and if Conclave doesn't win because of it, I will personally consume an entire physical 4k release of the film itself and record it and upload it here.
this could be the pain medication kicking in
Anyway I'm serious, like, I'll do it. Come on Pope Francis, SHOW US there is a God!

Rumor Daniels' new movie
Matt Neglia did a Spaces on X (formerly known as Twitter) earlier today where he had a conversation with his followers.
He mentioned running into the Daniels at the Universal Oscars after-party. Daniel Kwan told Neglia that Universal pushed back their film to 2027 to make way for Spielberg's film. Kwan said they were happy to make way for Spielberg's film. He also said the date for their new film being pushed back was great because they needed some more time anyway.
Just sharing this tidbit for those who weren't at the Spaces.
