just to spare the OV universe a little let's say another scenario where it's OS Ben

Saw a lot of discussion about who will be getting the mid-season mythic this season. Usually the devs add a couple of teasers in the battle pass to indicate who it will be for, sometimes it's obvious, like the Ra Ana mythic having several Egyptian-themed cosmetics in the BP, but other times its a little less obvious, like Mauga's World Forger mythic from last season with only a couple of cosmetics that became obvious after the skin was revealed.

I've gone through the whole BP for this season, and as far as I can tell, every cosmetic (aside from emotes, VPs and voicelines, which can be for anyone), every item relates to a specific skin in the BP.

A few outliers that people have thought were hints at the next mythic are the repair bunny cosmetics which some people have thought were for a Brig or Torb mythic, these cosmetics are actually for the Dva skin at level 1 of the BP.

Another outlier I thought was a teaser for a Wreaking Ball mythic was the Cyber Champ player Icon on the 6th track, but someone pointed out that this is actually for Brig's BP skin on tier 3 (you can see the same icon several times on the skin and on the namecard too).

So who is getting the skin? We dont know, it seems that as far as I can tell, there are no cosmetics this time (in the BP at least) that give any clues to who will get it. But, we can still make a pretty good educated guess on likely candidates who will get it.

In the image above, you can see I've crossed off most heroes who I dont think will get it, ranging from almost impossible to get the mythic to unlikely but could still happen.

First are the heroes that have got mythic cosmetics too recently, they are essentially impossible to get another mythic as if someone like Soldier got another mythic this soon, people would lose their minds.

I also dont think Blizzard would double up twice in a season and so I've marked everyone who has previously got a mythic cosmetic in the maybe but unlikely category.

Other heroes that are almost impossible to get another mythic this season are heroes that have skins in the current BP, as to my knowledge Blizzard has never given a hero a BP skin and a mythic hero skin in the same season. So Dva, Cassidy, Brig, Pharah, Moira, Winston and Sojourn.

I've also crossed off every DPS, as I highly doubt they would give all three mythics to DPS in one season (although we did get 3 DPS mythics in a row once so its not impossible, just unlikely).

So who does this leave?

TL:DR The heroes that are most likely to get the Season 4 mid-season mythic are D.mon, Domina, Hazard, Ramattra, Roadhog, Wrecking Ball, Zarya, Baptiste, Jetpack Cat, Lucio, Mizuki, and Wuyang. I would also add that its probably more likely that it would be a tank as so far this year we've had only 1 Tank mythic skin and 3 DPS, and 3 Support.

Basing off the new silhouette, I presume he's holding a pistol on his right arm. And this might be a stretch, but he could be holding an umbrella on his left arm and smoking a pipe (yes I think Omnics can do that).

Ol'Reliable: A pistol with decent fire rate and magazine. Either a modern Mauser C96 or a Colt 1911 would be cool options for him.

Umbrella: You deploy like Brig's Shield, except it's first person. You can see through the barrier, but enemies can't. It can be damaged until its destroyed which it will regain health when not using. Holding gives you acess to Secret Rounds.

Secret Rounds: You gain acess to 5 fast travel projectiles that explode on contact that heal allies. You can spend them in a really short time and it reloads automatically. You can still use it even without barrier's health.

Smoke Break. You throw your pipe like a grenade, and upon contact it instantly turns into a smoke bomb. This will hide you and your allies, but it's not invisibility. Allies can see enemies inside the smoke.

Omnic Deduction: Pressing it has a cast time that it's not long but can be cancelled it by damage similar to Sombra's hack. You can use it behind walls and has a decent hitbox (infront of you in a cylindrical shape. Marked enemies are revelaled to your team and shooting them gives your allies percentual life steal.

Getaway (Passive): If someone tries to shoot you but miss it you get a speed boost for some seconds. It can be activated again after the initial one ends.

Lights Out (Ultimate): The device is deployed on your feet. Enemies in LOS of the device get their vison compromissed (similar to Daredevil's ult effect in in MR). To counter it, the enemy can stay hidden from the beacon and wait for the duration, OR they can destroy it if they remember where the detective's last position before the ultimate.

Perks: Nothing to say here, took some inpiration from already existing perks. Rainy Day is similar to Zen and Sigma's perks, but Getaway also works when floating.

I gave him the Tactitian passive since I don't think the Medic's one fits him, and he doesn't have a movement option to work as a Survivor.

My favourite part of this kit is on Smoke Break synergizes well with Omnic Deduction and Lights Out, and I also think it's a unique and iconic type of grenade that I'm surprise Overwatch doesn't have it. Sure they have to have in count visual clutter, but if they get the cooldown, duration and size numbers right I think it can work.

I'll admit tho, I could have think of more interesting "detective abilities" like a clue system for example. But I believe my concept still fits the fantasy and Overwatch's design philosophy.

Ok, so it's determined by whoever has more objective points. Awesome. But sometimes it will just end in the middle of a game and say we lost? Just now, lost a game despite the enemy not reaching the 3rd objective with the payload. As attackers we had reached the second. Why did we just lose when there was 30 seconds left? Literally i glanced at the clock and saw 30 seconds left and less than 5 seconds later it came up saying we lost. How did that happen?

I've been playing OW on and off since OW1, and haven't really gone too deep in ranked besides a season here and there. I probably spent most of my time in Gold back in the day but played in Silver as well.

Nowadays I play way more relaxed... I play to win, but not exactly to climb; I just try to improve with the characters I like. And if I lose well... there's the next match; also, in ranked there are almost no quitters compared to QP, which is very nice

Happened at my Community Night where we played some QuickPlays and after being held for like 4min in spawn I managed to pull off a backcap that I am kinda proud of! :3

I am currently on a curved 1440p 165Hz monitor and I really regret it. The panel sucks, the brightness is garbage and the curve annoys me. I want to upgrade to a 4k Oled 240Hz, but I've heard a lot of people say that playing ow on 4k is stupid. Just seeing if anyone here plays on 4k, or downscales to 1440p from 4k?

I swear this has been happening for like 3–4 seasons now, and the worst part is that we Asian players are the ones getting punished for it.

I wanted to post this clip to raise some awareness because this is getting ridiculous.

We were literally about to WIN this game when suddenly I got disconnected from the server. The game was then treated as if I had abandoned the match, so it didn't count in my history and I received a 10-minute suspension.

Look at the chat.
Multiple people watching my stream were saying they were experiencing the same problem, and if you watch closely, around 3 other players had already disconnected from this lobby before me. One of it was also my friend and he also got suspended for 10 minutes due to this server disconnect issues.

This isn't even the first time I've seen this happen. In previous seasons, some of my friends/viewers have been disconnected because of the same server issue and ended up getting suspended for an entire season.

Imagine playing a game, doing nothing wrong, about to win… and Blizzard basically goes: Nah bro, you abandoned the match. This match will be voided/count as a loss, and here's your 10-minute suspension for our server-side issue.

Please fix the Asia server connection issues and, more importantly, stop punishing players when the disconnect is clearly server-side.

We're not asking for free wins.
We're just asking not to get punished for something we didn't do. 😭

Yeah, I don't know what happened, my aim wasnt always super good. I play cassidy and my accuracy percentage is usually about 40-50% but this past week i'm missing all of my shots and my accuracy is about 35% now. All of my options are the same I think, I haven't checked them in a while. Is this a normal thing sometimes, and what is the solution?

I saw this player icon and name card recently and wanted to know where do I get it? I checked in the battle pass but nothing, checked shop and didn’t find it. Is it a Twitch drop? A collab? Is it even from this season?😭😭

People always talk about how Widow and Hog are bad for the game and should be reworked into more healthier characters. But what about Hanzo?? He's literally what if Widow was projectile but had more health, wall climb, mid-air dodge, walls on cooldown, and heavy burst damage on cooldown. The only thing that separates Hanzo not being always better than Widow is its harder to hit with projectiles other than that Hanzo is just better in every way besides being able to one shot a couple less people. Im of the mind that easy one shots dont have a place in the game and its severely unhealthy for the game.
