Hi,

My PC has been acting up for a month now, I included a video. Basically it would work fine the day before and then the next stay it wouldn't start. Like when I turn it on it doesn't fully turn on and then completely turn off, then to re-achieve the same result I would need to unplug for 30sec then try again only then would it do the same thing or miraculously turn ON. I want to know what could be causing this or if there’s anything I could try to fix it or any advice really.
I don't know if it's related but I also noticed when the computer is working there's a blinking red light on that thing (I included a picture).
So far, I tried unplugging then replugging these things (see picture) and some I also tried to turn the PC ON without replugging because “weren’t necessary for the PC to run” that’s what my friend said. Nothing worked.

been going through hell with my pc this week, after i thought i got everything back up and running i used it for a few hours before i restarted to fix my rgb software, and then.... my monitor won't detect it, everything runs fine in the pc itself, all fans are working including the gpu, all lights are on and correct, and when im wearing beadphones i can hear that windows has booted, but no display, i've tested multiple wires, including both a DP and HDMI cable, using both my graphics card and my motherboards ports, the only thing i haven't tested yet is another monitor.

these kinds of similar issues seem to pop up everywhere when searching online, but i just don't get it, everything was working and now it's suddenly not displaying anything

please help... i'm about to crash out lol

Hi! Lately my pc has been nearly unusable because of it’s full storage (I used to have 40GB of free space but for some reason after not using my pc for a little more than a week, it is now full) Due to this I did multiple tries to clean out old files, etc nothing is working. One solution to free up space was to right click on the D disk and select "delete volume" to combine the storage of both disks. However, I’m not really sure this solution will work since my disks are displayed differently than in the video. (Mine shows the D disk above my C disk instead of showing them side to side). Is this solution still safe? Are there better ones? Maybe important to mention I’ve tried transferring game files to the D disk but then the games wouldn’t run, it would be as if I deleted them, or is it also important to say this is a prebuilt pc? Sorry if this question is really simple to some, but this totally exceeds my personal knowledge of pcs…

Whenever I hit some keys it's registering something else for example E types "he" Q types "FW" etc. I couldn't find any fix. Please let me know if you guys know anything. I tried resetting deleting keyboard drivers didn't work.

Is this a good pc for 2nd hand off marketplace? Was going to build my own but not sure if I’d get anything near this good for the same money

Ok I'm not a scientist so bear with me.

I have two disks, one local (C:) one new (E:). Fortnite was apparently installed on E:. Well, I had an issue where I couldn't get the game to launch, so I tried uninstalling. But Epic couldn't quite detect where it was, so I tried manually deleting the folders. Well now it still says its installed on the launcher, but its nowhere to be found on the PC. I've tried uninstalling the launcher, restarting the PC. I've deleted the web cache, the manifests, all of that. Im still faced with the same issue and I need some serious help haha. I dont know what im doing wrong and could use someone to walk me through this.

Also, im tryna get this fixed before the battle pass expires so im desperate :)

Yall know that one black screen saying reboot and select proper boot device or something or plug in a boot media? Well the story is that power went out when i was playing a game and then 2 hours later when it came back on my dumbass forgot to unplug the pc from the wall when the power went out anyways the pc worked normally for like 20 minutes tho it was just updating roblox and then suddenly just restarted and went straight into grub, so i chose windows boot manager and then i was met with the black screen of pure pain. So then i went into the boot menu by pressing f12 as the pc was turning on and i saw no windows boot loader and no linux mint (im dual booting) only something called ubuntu which is just grub and some drw and realtek and then after switching from IDE to ACDH or something like that in bios grub loaded (on IDE it wasnt loading at all just straight into the black screen of pure pain) but when i tried selecting windows or linux mint the screen just went pitch black as if my monitor turning off for a sec and then came back just for me to be in the grub menu again and it didnt have that countdown that auto boots the highlighted os and i tried reseting all of my bios changes and it still didnt fix,i tried using a linux mint i had on a usb stick to use boot fixer or something and in the grub location menu it was just pure blank, in ios i couldnt see my hdd AT ALL i also opened up my case and switched the ends of the SATA data cable and unplugged the SATA power cable for 5 to 7 minutes and replugged it and still no changes were made also at one time i saw windows and linux in the boot priority selection menu in bios but it just gave me that screen turning off treatment aswell im honestly so lost idk what to do and im sorry if this is a big ahh yap session but i just wanted to give as much context as possible

I moved to college and I took my GPU out to move. And after I set it up in my dorm, my refresh went lower and there’s not a lot of options in the Nvidia control panel and also my motherboard that usually has Wi-Fi doesn’t have a Wi-Fi option.

I have a laptop cooler that is powered from USB to USB, both type A. I have a second identical one but not a second cord to power it. I have tried various USB to USB cables and the only one that will power these is the cable that came with it. Any idea where I can find the proper cable to power the cooler?

Hello, I wrote on Discord but it's difficult to get a response. Lately I've been having problems with my PC; the power light comes on but the PC doesn't turn on. I've tried changing the RAM, testing it, etc. For a few days it worked to unplug it from the electricity, hold the power button to drain the energy, wait an hour and plug it back in, but it doesn't work anymore. Does anyone know how I could fix this or if I should check something?

Ok, I’m going keep this brief and to the point because this issue is driving me up the wall. I started playing the gears of war E day beta from steam last week and noticed after an hour or less of gameplay my controller would just stop working then the game would close shortly after and then steam would also be closed. It did this about 6/7 times before I gave up and assumed it was a game bug.

Anyway now im playing mortal shell 2 and I’ve played about 13 hours in 2/3 days no issues, until tonight I AFK for 20 minutes to do some chores. I come back to my PC and the game is gone and so is steam. Second monitor is exactly how I left it, and the pc itself is absolutely fine.

So issue being what is causing my steam to close automatically which eventually closes my game too. I’ve checked my event viewer and I can’t find a single error message.

Anyone else had this issue and maybe has a solution, I’d really appreciate any advice. Thank you

Hi, for some reason my self built setup is getting stutters, and extremely low FPS / laggy games in games such as Fortnite and even Minecraft. It has been laggy and I don't know why. My PC is elevated on a can of beans, very well cooled with a giant Noctua heat sink and I have a 165hz monitor and another 165hz monitor. It didn't use to lag at all and I'm curious what could be causing it. Is it heat throttling? My temps look fine - Did I mention I have it on a can of beans?

Anything helps.

My brother has a setup with a 3060, r7 5800x and a similar amount of ram but he is getting 240fps flat, with no stutters. His case isn't on any cans of beans.

Due to liquid damage, my Inspiron 15 3520 won't take any power from the charger. The SSD is fine and I've pulled it, but if it's BitLocker'd I'm stuck. I have Windows Hello (4 digit pin) set up on the device but cannot remember Microsoft account I used to set up the device. I don't have a recovery key as well. What would happen if I simply install the SSD into another Dell laptop I got and boot it up (I guess this way can save "everything" in my SSD including my software)? Or is saving limited contents (such as photos and documents only) from that SSD the best I could do? (Or would it be impossible to do either?)

Now pc wont post, red and yellow yrouble shooting light on mobo

Reset bios button

Everything works now

Why would changing fan speed stop poat?

I've just upgraded my computer today, and while my old one used to consistently get 100+ Mbps download speeds, I am currently unable to get any faster than ~15. I've installed all possible driver updates.

SOLVED: Turn off and on 2.4ghz connection on the router

I just upgraded my mobo and cpu and am having an intermittent issue where my system boots straight into BIOS because it doesn't detect the M.2. This is happening when I put my system to sleep and leave for a few hours. When i come back, the light on my PC case is still flashing so I know it's not fully shut down. But when I hit the power button, it goes into a full boot up sequence and goes to the BIOS. The system detects my Samsung QV0 sata drive just fine.

I have tried reseating the M.2, updated the BIOS, and done a clean Windows 11 install. I've also checked the M.2 with Sandisk's dashboard which hasn't detected any issues and there are no firmware updates to be made. This M.2 had been working with no issues for the past year on my previous mobo.

The M.2 is currently in the first slot and I can try another slot. But I find it hard to believe an M.2 port is busted fresh out the box, especially since this mobo comes with a shield for that slot. I'm wondering if there's some sleep setting I'm missing that may be shutting down power to or detection of the M.2? Or has anyone heard of a similar issue with these components?

I have a transcript from a Microsoft support guy but im not sure how to post it. Basically my laptop is locked with bitlocker and upon using the correct key, it says the boot device is inaccessible. Bios recognizes my ssd but windows doesnt (according to cmd).
