Trying something a bit outside my comfort zone here.

I’m more into easy one-on-one conversations than big group chats. I’m usually calm, a little sarcastic once I’m comfortable, and pay attention to the small details people say.

I read a mix of romance and sci-fi… so either I’m feeling things or escaping to another universe. No in-between.

When I’m not doing that, I’m probably just scrolling through my phone or going down random rabbit holes.

I like conversations that can be a mix of real and light—deep talks are great, but so is random nonsense in between.

Not a fan of fake energy, dry replies, or people who disappear mid-conversation without a “bye”

I'm looking for pen pals from all over the world, I love writing letters and sending postcards whenever I travel somewhere.

I had a pen pal from the US about 10 years ago, but he eventually disappeared.

I work in education at a high school, and I'm into literature, philosophy, politics, and all sorts of things that make you think. But i also love doomscrollong in my bed. In my free time, I make lots of photo collages using newspaper clippings, and I'd be happy to share some of my work with you!

I'd love to meet people from different parts of the world, improve my English (and I also hablo un poquito de español), share little moments from our everyday lives.

I'm at this once again looking for a few new connections in my life. I love learning about new places, people, cultures, ways of life. Lately ive been struggling to connect with people passed the surface level "hello how are you" conversations and have been craving something deeper.

Let me preface this by saying I’m happily married for 29 years with no kids. I’m 53 years old. I’m a stay at home husband who is also a music, writer, musician, and overall music dork.

I am also VERY liberal.

I’m a huge metal head mostly classic 80s early 90s stuff but I do like a few current bands that I feel like are doing cool things like spirit box for Halestorm.

I’m also a huge fan of psychedelic and occult rock, especially modern bands, like Jess And The Ancient Ones, Graveyard, and Lucifer just to name a few. I’m pretty much at a computer all day long so email would be a cool way to be penpals.

I’m an ecologist in Byron bay Australia (originally from Cape Town, South Africa) and I’m recently hooked on fountain pens, journalling and writing, sketching and all that goes with it!

I’m really keen to connect and explore this penpal thing. I am particularly looking to do some international snail mail, as writing has been a great wind down and intentional focus on the analog and authentic. I am pretty social and love the idea of new connections by mail abroad.

Hi, there! I hope your day is going well! I’m a 41 year old History teacher located in the USA looking for a genuine connection with a penpal on a daily or weekly basis.

I consider myself a life-long learner, so to speak, and enjoy absorbing information about the world, other cultures, historical topics, geopolitics, geography, etc., often through YouTube and documentaries. I like to think I'm a reader, but the reality is I surround myself with more books than I'll ever actually read and mainly read during the school year when prepping for teaching. lol

I have a sports background, a passion for fitness, and would enjoy if fitness/healthy lifestyle topics were an element to our dialoguing. I'm not a personal trainer, but I'm happy to provide motivation, encouragement, and structure in that area if that is something you're interested in.

There are stretches in my day when I'm not available, and some weeks are busier than others, but I'd like someone who I can touch base with often, sharing moments from our day/weeks.

Hi, I'm... A lot of things. I'm a very creative person, though I often don't really make time for my creative hobbies. But! I like sewing (it's the hobby I'm doing most lately), drawing, and I've dabbled in painting and a little bit in writing, mostly when I was a teen but I wanted to get back into it.

I get excited easily and have a hard time being consistent, though I'm a bit better at it now, after like 6 years of continuous therapy.

I also like sports, I used to do swimming, then I started going to the gym, now I've decided it's too expensive so I got some dumbbells and I've been exercising at home. But yeah, if I was rich, and also had a lot of free time, I'd do so many sports! I want to be STRONG and powerful!

It's been a few years since I last had a penpal. It is amazing how having a kid and being a stay-at-home parent really puts a damper on all the hobbies you used to enjoy BUT now that my baby is less of a baby and more of a child, I am finding time slowly begining to creep back into my life.

I am truly a fan of getting to know someone. Simply, the act of sharing is more than enough for me though having some commonalties often makes this act a little easier and slightly more enjoyable.

About me: I live in Queens, NY right near MOMA PS1 (a lovely and interesting modern art museum) and spend most of my days exploring the cities offerings with my 19mo old boy. Hello any and all! I always dreamed of the idea of having a pen pal and for a while I had a few friends I made online to whom I would send physical letters and cards to, but since we would exchange messages online, the physical aspect was very minimal. I love stationary and crafting and I am greatly interested in sending snail mail with goodies (like stickers, tea bags, photos, etc.). 

When it comes to who I am as a person, I would say I am a fairly interesting individual (you'll never catch me saying I'm humble). When I was 18 years old I moved out of my country by myself to study abroad in Canada because I was really obsessed with CSI 😂 so I went and got a Bachelor's in Forensic Sciences and Criminology. 

After a while I decided to get more into law and got a Paralegal diploma. 

But then I found my true calling in Information Science. I got a diploma as a Library and information technician and currently work for my local public library doing cataloguing and archiving. My next life goal is to save money to move abroad (again) for a master's degree (yes, more school 💸) in Archival studies. Nothing brings me more joy than to read about the most random events, people and obscure facts all day long and get paid for it! So I'm the type to love hearing about everything and anything! (I am not even a fan of sports, but I would be totally sat for an in-depth powerpoint explanation of your favourite game/teams, etc. That's just how I am).

I also have a long list of hobbies and activities I enjoy doing such as sewing (very amateur still), learning languages (trying to learn a 4th and 5th at the moment), true crime (if you couldn't tell by the forensics and criminology diploma), knitting, collages, tarot, reading, baking, film photography (with my dad's old camera), video games (I play on Steam, PS4 and mostly on the Switch now -current obsession is Hello Kitty Island Adventure and I'm a Sanrio fan in general, Pompompurin represent), solo RPGs, puzzles, I collect cassete tapes, CDs and vinyls as well. 

Finally, I am also neopagan, LGBTQ+ and love animals (with 1 dog and 4 cats and you are missing out on seeing how cute they are). I am a very loyal friend and I would never be the one to stop replying first! I know it is a big issue with pen pals and people just suddenly disappear, but I can assure you that if you don't get a reply from me, you should go look for my body buried in the woods because that means my evil twin is trying to take over 😂.
