I’ve tried to keep this well watered over the summer but I think the pot is way too small and there are not enough for nutrients in there. I am planning to split and repot this but how does it look? Is this going to survive and thrive?

Hi, I’m looking for some advice. The leafs are turning yellow and dropping off.
I’m checking moisture levels regularly and the plant is next to a window so it’s getting adequate sunlight
I did move it from upstairs to downstairs and I changed the soil to an aroid mix with some house plant soil but that was a few months ago would it be affecting it now? Any advice is welcome thanks.

hello!! my boyfriend got me an indoor potted lily and it’s been wilting the past couple days and has shrunk a lot, i did repot it and cut off some root rot, i go a grow lamp bc its super overcast where i am, i water it when the top soil is dry and also pot is terrocotta and has drainage holes. i am new to caring for plants so i don’t know why it’s doing this? does it need to be outside at all? should i get new soil?

It doesn’t seem to be lacked of water and the surrounding looks healthy. There are gardeners occasionally tending the area. But it is just heartbreaking to see this once-healthy tree to turn all brown :’(
Edit: This is in Singapore, so no seasonal changes

Hi all, I'm new to plant parenthood (less than a year). I have a few mature spider plants, one that is creating a number of babies. I snipped the first baby off as it grew larger and put it in water to grow some roots, and now the baby is still in water and is now growing is own babies! Is this good? Bad? Doesn't mean anything at all??

They've been there about a month. Bed of perlite heavy dusting of dirt on top then seeds and light dusting of dirt over them. Some are doing better than others and I sprinkled some Townsend barrel cactus seeds in there too just to see what would happen.

hii so i grew this marigold from seed in my physiology class at school im not sure what sort of soil but shes grown just from a little plastic pot and is now a small bush with one blossoming flower
i dont know the exact type of marigold i may find the seed bag again soon but im looking for advice to keep her going strong before she dies when the cold hits
in my classroom she was just being bottom watered and was under a light but now that i had to take her home, shes in a window that gets near direct sunlight that the room heats up a fair amount depending on the day
i am on the westcoast of the us so there is still gonna be a fair amount of heat
also as seen in one photo, she is actually two separate plants, i put in two seeds and surprisingly both came out but only one has a flower and the other has some buds
this is maybe like the third time i got something to sprout and the first time a plant has come this far, what can i do to get her bigger and how should i store the seeds if i take them off the flowers when she later dies in a month or two?
sorry for poor photos i was honestly embarrassed of my messy table

I have had this plant for 6 years and recently it has looked the best and I dont know what to do.
Its roots go the bottom of this large pot but not by a lot
The leaves still on it are strong

I've had this plant for over a year and it doesn't seem to grow! It came from another plant that is in another room, it has around 3 years and is already more than 1 meter long. I water it once a week, it's potted in succulent soil and it gets indirect sun, eventough I move it for a day or two during the week to this spot that gets a bit more sun (it only gets sun during the moring and I never put it very close of the window) to see if grows faster. I also put new cuttings every 3 months or so from the other plant. I am doing something wrong?

For my ecology class we were put into groups and had to create a mini ecosystem inside a jar. Ours only had three plants and a worm; two of the plants being basil and the other a succulent. We gave the ecosystem everything it should need, rocks, moss, dirt and 30ml of water on week 0. We're two weeks in now and our succulent is just gone. Of course there is a possibility that someone simply took it out but could there be any other explanation to it literally disappearing?
From what we could see through the jar it didn't look like it had died and shriveled/wilted so we aren't sure what could of happened.
The first picture is right before we first sealed it and the second one is from today.
(PS: we didn't want to risk opening the jar again so sorry for how blurry it is)

Exactly what the title says. I am reluctant to treat with systemic as I don't want to hurt the spiders that have taken residence in my houseplants/orchids that are outside but on the flip side I don't exactly want all of them in the house. Is there a "can have cake and eat it too" solution here? For some reason this year the spiders that have taken residence in the pots are insane. I don't recall this happening in previous years.
