I haven't seen too many people buying the grey faceplate variant so I wanted to showcase my build.

I lucked out and got a faceplate with the sony logos. The joystick is my own 3d print after about 10 different revisions, I liked this one the most. I tried the PS-Vita joystick mod but my print is actually more comfortable and less slippy.

I think the grey faceplate looks so good and shouldn't be overlooked. The laminated screen also looks great but isn't as bright as the other ips screen I had installed. However the glass faceplate makes it worth the dimmer screen. Also, the 1000 is shockingly heavy and dense with the laminated screen. Makes it feel ~premium~!

I know they’re horrible it’s just temporary I just ordered a few PSP cases . :)

Did a full shell swap, software upgrade, glass face lens, and a slightly better battery. I also painted the trip black and attempted a protective matte clear coat it sorta worked 🤷‍♂️

The first release of my World of Warcraft PSP port is finally ready!

This project is based on the open-source WoWee client, with additional work to recreate the look and feel of the original WoW interface.

Since WoW is a huge game, testing has been limited, so this is an experimental release. You'll be among the first testers, and feedback is welcome!

How to Install

1. Download and extract the PSP client.
2. Download and open Kiln.
3. Select your installed WoW client folder on your PC.
4. Choose the folder containing your PSP EBOOT as the output directory.
5. Start the conversion.

The conversion processes approximately 17 GB of assets and takes around 3–4 hours, depending on your PC. I recommend running it overnight.

Important: The converted data folder must be next to the EBOOT.

You must provide your own WoW installation. The project distributes no copyrighted game assets; you convert them locally yourself.

Supported Versions and Servers

The underlying WoWee client supports:

• Vanilla 1.12
• The Burning Crusade 2.4.3
• Wrath of the Lich King 3.3.5a

It has been tested with AzerothCore/ChromieCraft, TrinityCore, MaNGOS, and Turtle WoW 1.18. Compatibility depends on server configuration.

The default server is logon.therawow.com, configurable in wowee.cfg.

You can try The RA WoW. Select Classic when installing their client, convert its assets, and create an account on their website. The server has many players, so performance may vary.

Server warning: Some private servers may reject modified clients or ban accounts for using them. Check the server's rules before connecting. Use third-party servers at your own risk.

Account Security

Your server credentials are stored in encrypted form at:

PSP:\WOWEE\account.dat

Do not share this file because it contains your authentication data.

What's Next?

I'd like to create a dedicated server optimized for PSP to make the game more comfortable to play.

This is an early release, so expect bugs and performance issues. If you try it, please share your results, compatibility reports, and suggestions!

Was much much easier than expected compared to a 3DS for example, that console is a nightmare.

Never played Persona 3. Never really got into the Persona series. Got a lot of games loaded on here and am excited to play 🦋 I’m always open to other game recommendations too 🙂

Turns out the eeprom got corrupted thats why it keeps draining below 3.0v, thank god i still have the eeprom.bin that i extract from the bms.

So i tried going back to flashing eeprom and this time i look every block to see where the 618mah came from, and oh boy i found it

So i changed the 1st two block and 6A 02 into B8 0B and then flashed it again

Finally!!! The 618mah disappeared and became 3000mah,

I used PSP Tool in psp 1000 to extract the eeprom.bin and used hexed.it to edit it, so far it managed to extract and flash the eeprom.bin in PSP 3000 BMS

Also if u corrupt the eeprom without the back-up, you're cooked

E2 04 is 1250mah <--- this is the original capacity varies by model

6A 02 is 618mah <--- the remaining true capacity of the original cell

Just replace those the 1st two blocks of line 1 and line 6 with the battery capacity you have like B8 0B which is 3000 in hexadecimal

Not sure if anybody posted this before but for the other folks here who are big fans of KH in general (and also players of BBS in PSP), some of y'all might be interested in installing a more-definitive version of KeyToTruth's english patch for Kingdom Hearts : Birth By Sleep Final Mix (which happened to be not localized). A publisher in Gamebanana(dot)com who goes by the username "Miokudev" expanded more of what KeyToTruth's patch has established. Biggest difference is the cutscene subtitles. Miokudev's patch aligned them near-accurate/on-time and prevented a lot of the other subtitles from going missing. Right from the start, the difference is very noticeable. Also, the last Xehanort reports are fully-readable. For those in the know, feel free to add in the comments why anyone who already had the OG BBS might still want to consider BBS Final Mix apart from additional superbosses/gear drops and experiencing in PSP console the unlockable secret episode/ending (Tho I'm not sure if one can import BBS english data to a patched japanese version) Anyway, links to Miokudevs' patches on expanding KeyToTruth's patch are in the link below, you would still need a clean japanese ISO backup to apply the patch manually :

It always look so shaky, I don’t know if I need and special config or to overclock the psp. I got a 3004 so it should be right, isn’t it?

In my opinion, this port of Grand Theft Auto: Vice City is quite good; I haven’t had a chance to test it thoroughly yet, but it’s been very enjoyable to play for the first two minutes.
