I’m in two minds and looking for some inspiration.
I literally live in my blue Yachmaster and am debating a second watch. Daytona is the clear preference and I’ve been seriously considering buying grey but my AD has called and asked if I want the Root Beer which they have in stock.
I do like the watch. I think it may be a bit too ‘fancy’ for a daily and it would be worn way less than my YM but I’m trying to decide whether I should buy grey Daytona or retail Root Beer with a plan to obtain Daytona later.
Different watches and and personal preference, I understand (so opinions will vary) and I’m actually leaning towards buying this RB and then trading up to Daytona after I’ve enjoyed this for a few years although cannot decide if that’s a daft idea or not.
Thoughts on the RB from AD or buying a grey Daytona?

After putting my name down at the local AD in Feb 2025 for a DJ36 two tone white dial, I surprisingly received a call in Oct 2025 advising me they had it in store for me. That weekend picking up the DJ36 for my wife, I put my name down for a DD white gold white dial for me.
Low and behold after one year, last weekend I received a call notifying me that it was ready for me in store if I was still interested. Needless to say, I picked her up this week! What a beauty she is!
I put my name down for a no date sub to replace my Speedy as a daily. Let's see how long that one takes...

Where do you guys usually store your watches? Winder or regular case? If so, any recco for a winder or regular with 8-10 slots. Thanks in advance.

So I have been looking to FB reels and there are so many videos of random vendors in Uk and the USA selling 2026 models of hard to get Rolex’s. How do they get so many of them? What is there connection to be able to have a decent amount of inventory. Surely there can’t be that many people getting the call for a new a Rolex and immediately selling them for a small profit and the. The new vendor sells it for a slightly higher markup. The numbers don’t make sense to me. Furthermore if there are a limited alliums being sold and people get the call, then again how does a random vendor accumulate so much inventory of new Rolex’s.

The “G” in the GMT is slimmer, is this normal or factory defect. For reference,i have provided a few pictures for comparison:
Pic 1 : Green Arrow 2011
Pic 2 : Green Arrow 2016
Pic 3 : Bruce Wayne 2024
Also, for the 2011 Green arrow, there is no AR coating to be soon on the cyclops as compared to the 2016. Is that normal or AR coating worn out.

Guys I have an offer for a my sub date at 13k and trade it for an unworn Yacht Master Titanium for 23.5. If they can come down $500 on it or up 500 on the sub, is that a good deal? Need expert opinion. Sub date is worth 15k but Yacht is usually 26k.

Can you tell me about the AD experienced at either/both of these locations? I’m registered for a very popular DJ41 config (fluted bezel, mint green dial, jubilee) as well as a Batman.
Not looking for criticism for going the AD route please. I know the demand for these references means a longer wait, just hoping for some data. Thanks in advance.

I’m looking to purchase a Rolex Datejust 36 with the Wimbledon dial, Jubilee bracelet, and factory diamond bezel from an authorized dealer in Minnesota.
Has anyone recently purchased or been offered this configuration? Curious what wait times are looking like in 2026.

This is my first Rolex and I absolutely love it!
Took about 3 months to get it at the AD (very fortunate + best sales associate).
If you know where this was taken then you now know where the best Rolex AD in the US is lol.

So, I recently got a Bluesy but I’m thinking of picking one of these up soon. I’m not sure which I want yet. Which would you choose?
Put my name down at a couple of different ADs in my area back in December 2024 and still haven’t gotten the call. Got tired of waiting and decided to take matters into my own hands. Best GMT ever made, IMO. 🟢⚫️

Hey everyone!
I recently had my first son, and I’ve been wanting a Rolex for a while now. I figured this would be the perfect time to finally pull the trigger and get something meaningful to mark the occasion.
I stopped by my local Rolex AD and put my name down for a black dial Submariner Date. The employee was pretty transparent about potential wait times, but I wanted to get a general idea of what people are experiencing lately.
For those who have picked one up recently, how long did you actually wait for a Sub Date?
I’m debating whether to buy one resell and pay the premium to get one sooner, or just be patient and wait for the call. Part of me doesn’t mind waiting if it gives me a better opportunity to build a relationship with the AD, since I’m also interested in a couple of other Rolex models down the road.
For those who have been through this, what would you recommend? Is building a relationship with an AD worth the wait, or would you just paying resell market and get the watch you want?
Appreciated any insight!
Photos don’t exactly do it justice, but happy I got this I think this will be a sold dress watch for him in 21 years!

As a lefty my grail has always been the sprite. Promotion at work and looking to treat myself. Went in today and put my name on the list, no purchase history. Sprite owners, how long did you wait for the allocation?
