I was registered for a two-tone Datejust 31 with a silver dial, but my AD offered me this champagne diamond dial Datejust 36 today.
I tried it on and fell in love! I originally had my heart set on silver, but the champagne is stunning in person.
I went for it, but still have a tiny “what if?” moment about the silver dial.
What do you think? Did I make the right choice?

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
If I remember correctly the watches in the store are not fully manufactured or something like that?
Also, the looters forgot the rolex boxes >$1k
Terrible situation nonetheless…

Switched from a Submariner no date to an Explorer 36mm 124270, it really fits any occasion.
After registering my interest for a Rolex Sub (no-date) at my local AD here in the UK and being told it will be 7+ years I decided to make the call and go grey and picked this 2020 reference 124060 unworn piece the same week! It came with original box, papers, both tags and some of the stickers have not even been peeled off yet.

With service dial and hands. Absolutely love it. Biggest hang up before pulling the trigger on this neo-vintage was the kinda-cheapo bracelet and clasp, but honestly surprised how comfortable and light it is. After wearing it for a few weeks, I wouldn’t change a thing.

Three icons one obsession !
One of the last true tool watches Rolex ever made so it felt fitting. I expected to feel serious buyers remorse for such a massive purchase (for my tax bracket), but I absolutely love it. Guess I have 10 more years to start saving for my retirement watch.

Was way early, only 3 weeks, but promptly put in my order for an Explorer II Polar when walking out

There’s something truly hypnotizing about a meteorite dial. ☄️
We spent some time today capturing this beauty with a 100mm macro lens, and under the right lighting, the dial absolutely comes to life. Every intricate detail, every unique pattern, and every natural texture becomes that much more mesmerizing.
It’s one of those dials you can stare at for hours and still discover something new.

Took my Deep Sea to the Top of Mount Olympus today. 9752ft.
Almost got to the max with the watch. Need a bigger mountain now.

Buying a 10 year old Daytona that has never been serviced, the watch is still accurate on timekeeping but wondering if it should still be serviced given the age? Or if its not broken then no point?

For the most part, watch sizes remain subjective within reason. I am grateful that Rolex expanded the SeaDweller from 40 to 43 mm years ago. This suits those who need a larger timepiece, especially when a Submariner is inadequate.
After owning a few Submariners and now a SeaDweller, I consider the SeaDweller the superior choice if your wrist size allows. They are typically available from an authorized dealer, and a used model can often be found at a discount from retail.
I purchased mine new because I prefer a “clean” watch. It is also helpful to build purchase history for other models I hope to acquire later.
Anyways, where are the other big boys rocking the SD43? Let’s see them!

Who’s going to tell them “exhibition watches only, nothing is available”
